So I was staring at the three new Galaxies that BFS calls Islands which do not behave like Islands. You can't decorate them, you can't add a Theme, and there is no Portal for the wee Witches and Wizards to access the darn things. The only other Islands with those qualities have been Event Islands that have always disappeared. Then it occured to me that between the five new Galaxy Dragons all ten Dragonvale Elements are represented. There being five spots on each Island, what if at some point having one of each of the new dragons in there unlocked it and spun it off into another park that you access from your first park? You then use your five Dragons representing the ten Elements to breed and fill another park. Kind of like my dimensions idea but Galaxies instead. Won't this be fun!?!
And maybe, just maybe the Twins that you acquire are the only Dragons that can be transported to your newly created park without having to breed them from scratch with your Galaxy Dragons. I'm not giving up a one until we're sure.

it is a solid theory to say the least, and it would be very cool. In my dream world (NO, not my dream dragon's world, nor my daydream's world) they would make a new park which was solely (how D'yu spell that word? Grammer (I'm english...) Borg?) based off of space. So dark matter dragon, antimatter dragon, binary dragon, quasar dragon, red giant dragon, red supergiant dragon, wormhole dragon, black hole dragon, dark energy dragon, quark dragon and the list goes on! One can dream...

And I don't understand not wanting twins of the gemstone dragons? If anything, they would be the best ones to get because there is no cloning. Okay, trying for twin gemstones now. I will be sharing a Lichen dragon for the rest of the month for anyone that wants to play along. Anyone want to share a crystal for me?
I voted that I am happy to get twins, but I don't have a long-term goal at the moment. I have not decided if I want to swap out eggs, dragons, or what. I have two of every dragon at level 15 already, so I'm not sure if I would swap out dragons...except epics. I have multiples of most epics on display, and some of them are still level 10 because I haven't taken the time to raise everything. I would be happy to switch those out to twins. The blue star looks kind of cool. So far, no twins in my main park so I have time to decide what I want to do about the others. Replacing anything with twins seems like a very long-term goal, so I want to think carefully about what I want to do. Eggs would be easiest because then I wouldn't be wasting the food I put into raising dragons to level 10/15...but there are also other things to consider.

How did you do this. I couldn't work out how to share my Lichen while I was still breeding with it in the cave, so had to wait till this morning to make it available to you. I am breeding with your Crystal now. Best of luck to both of us.

You're forgetting the Gemstone Island. It has the same properties as the Galaxy Islands.
I'm a new-ish player and I am still missing so many dragons/eggs anyway, I think I will mostly stay clear of the twin pedestals. This is my first post. Thanks to Lady Redwolf for helping me find you!

Meh. I'm not all that interested about collecting Twins. Since I keep two of every dragon, I'll probably just be switching out my extra doubles for twins as I collect them. Will try to avoid collecting the pedestals, as the shiny border change in the Dragonarium for only a few buttons would drive me nuts.

I almost exclusively have Epic dragons on display. I also have an extensive Egg garden on display and I think adding twin eggs to my collection makes the most sense, but I will hold on to additional twins I get after the eggs until I decide on other long term goals. This strategy would change, of course, if Twin dragons have some special additional property that we are currently unaware of.

Yeah, I totally meant the hibernation cave. I had a long breed in the CBC (another Snowly I think) so I will start twin emeralds breeding in the morning

No dramas at all. My first attempt with your Crystal was a 14 hour, so a Tree or Mountain. If you get a Twin notification from me, that's what it will be. :-)
