Poll of the Week - Twin Dragon Collecting

So with the number of dragons and pedestals available effectively doubled (sorry Kairos) how many people are going hell for leather to get everything? How many people will replace old dragon/pedestals with new? How many people are not bothered? Let's find out. 2 votes are allowed for the various options and the poll is open for a week.

I think we're going to need them in the future so I'm stacking them up in my caves.  Maybe some future event where they will have the magical power over the regular dragons and get the player through the rewards faster etc.

No interest here. Nope, nada, negative, zilch, none. Until we *KNOW* they're more than just shiny, they're basically just like any fails. I'm happy for those who don't have certain dragons, but also a little sad, because a good chunk of the enjoyment (and yes, the frustration!) of this game is in breeding, especially for rares.

But hey, whatever works. As for display, I only collect pedestals for rares and limiteds anyway, If my third copy of a given dragon happens to be a twin, I'll probably still make it into a display egg, but I have no interest in them otherwise. And I'd LOVE a "delete this gift egg" option, because they are cluttering up my gifts menu & nursery.

This twin thing changes things a little bit. Now you can get a dragon without actually breeding for it. It is almost like being able to gift a dragon to a friend, only it's in a random way. It is intended to please people that would like to gift dragons and people who don't think that it should be done, because it would spoil the breeding for a dragon goal.
I for one want to get twins, because I like to have special portraits on the Dragonarium.

I am going for the twins, but not aggressively. As they come I will keep them - I'm still working on Galaxies right now =D

I am not breeding for them right now, but I'm very happy when I get one, especially as a gift.

I think I am going to collect one twin of each dragon & exchange pedestals for the new ones. That should keep me busy for the next 3 or 4 years, easily. I love getting a gift dragon, probably because I've only received 2 so far.

I just put my Polarian in with your Sonarian & got a 45 hr timer, so I think it's a Sonorian for me. Thanks! When we will know if it's twins? When the incubation is finished or when they are ready to hatch?

Surprised that most people don't have a long term goal about the twins. I definitely do. Can anyone confirm, whether they retain their shinyness on the egg once displayed. If so then I need another egg collection, except gemstones AND I want a twin dragon for all but the gemstones. Kinda ironic how people who don't want twins are getting SO MANY of them, yet I have received none, but REALLY want one!

Meh. I'm not all that interested about collecting Twins. Since I keep two of every dragon, I'll probably just be switching out my extra doubles for twins as I collect them. Will try to avoid collecting the pedestals, as the shiny border change in the Dragonarium for only a few buttons would drive me nuts.

The eggs do. There's a picture in the OP of the 3.0 thread, where hopefully most questions are answered. Let us know if there are any questions that aren't, and we'll sort that out, so people can always be sent there to found out about anything.

Are you listed in the sharing thread so people can be using your dragon for breeding? You can only breed in the CBC once, but there is no limit to the amount of other people that can use your dragon. The way to increase the number of Twins you get is to increase the number of people that are using your dragon to breed.

I want to know how wapa voted? As a player who never clones, her opinion is important to me.

And I don't understand not wanting twins of the gemstone dragons? If anything, they would be the best ones to get because there is no cloning. Okay, trying for twin gemstones now. I will be sharing a Lichen dragon for the rest of the month for anyone that wants to play along. Anyone want to share a crystal for me?

I will tackle twin gemstones last. That's why I'm thinking of getting a long term breeding partner who has the same goal as me!
