Maybe it's just wishful thinking, but what if the Faire dragon produced wish tokens instead of gems or DC? I doubt it, but it would be nice. Or some future special dragon?

POTM. For coming up with such an awesome idea! It's rate would be something like: 1 wish every year. Can you imagine having to FOY that thing, it could waste you up to 364 days to make a single wish!

I think that we will get wishes at appropriate times of the year, like Christmas and during the star fall event (shooting star). I don't think it will be quaterly or any other regular time interval. and I think it's more fair for the wishes given out to make sense, I think there might be wishes at the end of events, so that instead of treats we can turn extra tickets into a wish, if we have enough.
What do I think is fair? About 5 wishes a year, (four events + Christmas/BEB?)

It would be cool to get a "birthday wish" on the anniversary of when you started playing. (Birthday? Birthday wish?) plus that would stagger out the time of year the wishes went out which could be pretty cool.
You also enter your own birthday when you start to play, we might get a wish on our actual birthday, instead of our anniversary of starting the game

If so, it is not implemented yet. My birthday was Friday and I did not get a wish.

Couldn't the Faire dragon be a Legendary dragon? With its own Rainbow Isle where we can display all the Faire decorations! (I'm going BIG with my wishes)

With the advent of the wishing well, and the ability to instantly get hard to breed/expired dragons we are left with a conundrum of how often wishes will be bestowed upon us. At the moment we have no idea how the mechanics of it will work. Will BFS just give them to us? Will they be earned by a new dragon? Will the Wishing Well itself simply start to recharge once the first wish is spent? No idea. But we can discuss how often we think wishes should be granted.
Now I'm not asking for the most amount of wishes you want, but what you think is a fair amount to be granted to us in normal game play. Everyone gets one vote.
It wouldn't shock me if this were a one-time deal. I'm not sure how often or if ever again so I will just say that I think it will be an extremely rare occurrence.

I hoppe you are correct.
I like the well. But not quite as enthused about it as just a dust gatherer.
If they DO stop the BEB, I hope that wishes are more frequent rather than less. 4 a year or so.
