Like Fletch_smf said, number 5 is fantastic but what if my Dragons get tired of swimming?
Now I'm invisioning Dragons in gondolas with a whole Venice canal thing going on. It's probably just me.
Dragons can rest on their islands of course! Or they can fly off if the other dragons are splashing around too much. I think they would look undragonlike in gondolas -- but for visitors -- i like it!! "when the moonstruck hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's amore..."
That's not amore, that's... probably a Moonstruck dragon.
GCID: rionhow Thanks to ElektronX for my Light Rift avatar!

Also would love to see a cloud base for air theme. Ok, i'm done. We now return you to your regularly scheduled program: The Wishing Well.
It would be cool to get a "birthday wish" on the anniversary of when you started playing. (Birthday? Birthday wish?) plus that would stagger out the time of year the wishes went out which could be pretty cool. Christmas seems rather obvious, and perhaps if they do a larger style event like this over the holiday it makes sense. Start fall seems logical too. "When you wish upon a star" and all that.
As for whether wishes come too cheaply, has anyone done the math as to how many of us were actually pitching into the wishing well? I dropped dragon cash every day. Many of you guys probably did as well. In a sense I feel like I helped "earn" my wish. I love the open spending concept of it but I don't consider it 100% a freebie like I didn't do anything to earn it.
I chose other because event wishes would be pretty cool. But I also need to think that the well would function similar to, if not exactly like a monetary thing as well. I don't know just sharing my thoughts here...lol
I would also like to add input on this. Xmas is a good idea, but I think maybe coins could either be bought with dragoncash (Like, 20,000,000 to keep it special and rare), or maybe BFS could do Community goals or something, like, if the community can grow 10,000,000 food in a matter of time, then maybe everyone can be given a coin. I loved the well, as I finally got my dream dragon, the Equinox dragon. Thoughts on this?

I chose "other", for I don't think they will EVER give us another wish. How do come to the conclusion, they will give us more than one? The text for the wishing well clearly enough stated "you only have ONE wish, choose wisely". For me, the well is now only a decoration and not even a very pretty one.
When they gave us the well, my wish was clear immediately. Wished for a Light rift dragon, because I bred for it all last BEB, but was "only" able to breed the Dark rift dragon. On the other breeding spot tried desperately for Dusk or Dawn with no success at all, so with the opportunity, to buy Dusk and Dawn with tickets during the Faire, I was completely content. Also buying Twilight Tower this way was perfect for me, because I always wanted the Winter theme with the Aurora borealis permanently in my park.
I'm greatful to BFS for giving me the opportunity to catch up with so many things I missed and only hope they give us BEB again and another such great Faire like this year. Maybe then I'm able to get things like the Treatery and the Dragonsai Bush, if not, it's okay with me as well. In the long term, I will be able to get the last 5 dragons (Leathery, Victory and Eridarian through Coop, Monolith 5 by constantly trying and Tourmaline when it returns next year) I still need. :-)

Hi there! I'm brand new to the forums, but I've been playing the game for a long time. I'm trying to figure out the significance of the "wishes". How do you get them, and how do you use them? I have gotten some in the past, but I had no idea what to do with them until I read this thread! Is there somewhere else I should be posting my novice questions?

So far we've only gotten one wish, and that was for throwing coins into the wishing well during the Faire. How did you "get some in the past"?
Basically, a wish can be used for anything. When you click "claim wish" in the wishing well it takes you to a special market where you can choose any dragon, decoration, etc. you want. Once you spend the wish, though, that's it. Hence this thread is speculating when we'll receive another (or "if" I guess... no one's really sure).
Personally I think we'll get maybe one a year. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to spend so much effort creating an entire new building and market for a one time use type thing. Also, for new players who didn't participate in the Faire...

I think not too many times a year, but not too little! I'm thinking about once every 2-3 months. It gives time for some dragons to come and go and there is usually some sort of event happening. I think it will give the players a better chance to improve themselves without getting too many freebies. Yet again, this is my opioion. Although it would be nice if we could get an official reply as to what we should be expecting, because it will encourage players who don't play as often to come and visit their dragons more!
I only have quote or like and link thread options. I wanted to comment under a post here. How can I do that ? Because the subject matter changes by the time you get to page bottom where I can post
With the advent of the wishing well, and the ability to instantly get hard to breed/expired dragons we are left with a conundrum of how often wishes will be bestowed upon us. At the moment we have no idea how the mechanics of it will work. Will BFS just give them to us? Will they be earned by a new dragon? Will the Wishing Well itself simply start to recharge once the first wish is spent? No idea. But we can discuss how often we think wishes should be granted.
Now I'm not asking for the most amount of wishes you want, but what you think is a fair amount to be granted to us in normal game play. Everyone gets one vote.

Do you have to acquire the wishing well first somehow ? Is it something that was rewarded from an event or a building or decoration, or is that just what it's called when you get to make your wish?

Do we need to acquire a wishing well somehow before we can get wishes or is that just what they call it when they grant wishes?
