The new island theme was an insta-buy for me. I collect them, and have over 10x that amount of gems in my bank (legitimately earned) so 250 was acceptable for me.

It's perfect for the autumn version of my seasonal island!

Lucky me! Sand+Swamp netted me a Harvest (I know, because I sped it up!!). Second attempt on the EBI has me for another 14h24: possibly another Harvest!!

Edit: AHA, according to the sandbox, 14h24 can be nothing but a Harvest!

Anyone who hasn't upgraded to the Grand Treat Farms should do so because you get access to the Fiery Figs. Massive amounts of food at half price!

I have 18 billion saved up, but they chew through DC so fast, I should be able to bankrupt myself within a week.

I managed to get Feast first try, harvest is proving more ornery

I managed to get one of each new dragon with a couple hundred gems of speeding. I used more gems on my baby park, but was able to get both there too. I don't use gems in that park for anything but helping my main park get clones with the co-op cave, so was worth it. Now I can take it easy and in the worst case, I can clone the 2nd and egg from the other park.

Not knowing the end date definitely made me speed things up trying to ensure I got the dragons, just in case they disappear right after Thanksgiving. At least now there's no stress left!

Very much so.

Figs and Taters cost half as much per treat as Beanstalks.

Jelly is the lowest priced treat in the game, even cheaper than Dragon Snaps.

I just noticed the DV post on facebook. Sounds like they are going to have different deals on dragons every day of the event. Interesting.

Looking forward to seeing if we get any new dragons and further surprises over the next couple days. Hope we get a new course each day rather than getting the full buffet on the first day. I definitely don't hope there will be more dragons! Getting two in such a short time will be hard enough. I still haven't managed any of the new Galaxy dragons or the new crystaline and I'm breeding obsessively for them. I was reeeeeeally looking forward to a break until whenever the surely insane winter event starts.

In my baby park, I thought I found all the baskets of treats earlier. I went in about an hour ago and it showed I had more in my park. I found a 5000 basket and the visitor button changed. I just went in again a few minutes ago and the visitor button showed me I had more. I found 5 1000 baskets and that was all I had. So the baskets seem to reappear, although somewhat randomly.

Wondering if I shelled out $50 or $100 bucks is BFS would let me go back to 1.0 Dragonvale? I HATE being level 70 and still not having enough DC, treats or gems. I have no idea why I keep playing, it's truly not fun any more. I can't get a new dragon even every two weeks. This truly is starting to suck!

They appear to have different respawn rates. The hand baskets seem to come back after about 4-5 hours, not sure about the picnic basket, cornucopia or barrels yet.

Autumn Dragon went on sale for 150 gems at midnight BFS time. Sale lasts 24 hours

I used meadow+tree for harvest and swamp+forest for feast. Got them both very quickly. I did buy the harvest theme. I like the themes except for treasure. Treasure wasn't as nice as the others. I like the animated windmill and the hut with smoke coming out of the chimney.

Congratulations to everyone who bred the new dragons so quickly!
Personally, I can't remember the last time I actually bred a new dragon. I've gotten new ones as event prizes, but I seem to have no luck at all when trying to breed. I'm falling further behind all the time and it's very frustrating.

Haven't gotten either of the new dragons yet, but I really like the island theme! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
