Fwiw Skitch, in light of the info that one cannot display two sets of all dragons, and quite likely cannot display even one of every dragon, I have changed my old goal of two plus egg to one plus egg, (and w twins the same, one plus egg), as can always ask a friend to put theirs up if I love the dragon so much I want to breed a second...exceptions the BerryBerryBerry dragon (YAAY got them) and Sprout, and any other 'gotta show all three stages of life' draggies Koala w your decision!
Knew I wasn't the only one who did BerryBerryBerry. (I did pity the runt, though, starving like that).
I just had to, I thought they were so berry berry berry nice ( groan) and such fun to watch

Three Feasts in a row, but just cannot entice a single Harvest. Am I correct in thinking I'll still be able to breed with someone else's Harvest in the Coop cave if I can,t manage it by the deadline?
Shocker - I actually enjoyed this event. It was more laid back, and felt more like an "enjoy thanksgiving" event than a "hehehe here's an event to ruin your Christmas/Halloween/summer" event.
Don't worry James. I am sure THAT event will be along shortly.

You will need to get at least one before the deadline or wait for BEB as it is a limited hybrid not an epic.

Took some gems, but I was able to squeeze out a Feast and Harvest plus their eggs. Now to wait for the inevitable winter event and BeB. I need to breed myself a Treat!
Back to my attempts to get an Eridanian from the coop. First try with with my Antarian and one shared Eridanian. Guess what? I have a third Feast coming

Feast was easy to breed, but I've been struggling with Harvest. 75 gems burned for speed-ups this morning, and I have a Harvest! Yay!

I give gems randomly to those who seem to need them because I'm not organized enough to keep a list, but I'm always looking for more Party Hat friends!

This event has been another mediocre one for me. On the plus side, I liked the "no pressure" aspect of searching for hidden things. It was also a great way to boost my food stores with the new treat options. On the down side, I was only able to get one Harvest in Park SS and one Feast in Park SG - despite checking in many times every day to reset breeding spots. I made only light use of gems so didn't do a lot of speeding up - I just don't like the way breeding has changed. It seems like it is harder and harder to breed new dragons and that takes a lot of fun out of the game for me.
Burned about 400 gems, but finally got a Feast (managed to get the Harvest after only 5 or so gems). Painful mini-event when you add in the Harvest Theme.

Grats! I've spent 250 or so and am done throwing good gems after bad. Omen was a bad omen for that for me I will just sit tight for BeB and focus on whatever else comes my way

All gems spoken for but open to CoOp breeding and Party Hats!
It seems like it is harder and harder to breed new dragons and that takes a lot of fun out of the game for me.
Breeding percentage wise, these dragons were not any more rare than most limited hybrids (around 5%)
They had unlocked combos that allowed us to use common dragons that had NO epic fails (though the "rare" Geode is still an annoyingly long fail for Harvest) Since the combos were unlocked, we COULD combine them to breed for both at the same time, at the risk of epic fails from Rainbow and DR. Overall, the combos were very nice.
The biggest issue was the relatively short breeding window of just six days. That's still longer than several rarer dragons like Blue Moon or Celtic, so even that didn't seem too bad to me.
Plus, I anticipate them being available again for BeB soon...

Went thru another 100+ gems, but I finally have 2 Feasts, and 2 Harvests; sparkling Dragonium in 5 mins.
The gems sale, I thought 195 gems for 4.99 didn't go very far as least for me anyway (I didn't purchase the gem, but I did blow thru 200+ gems for Feast). I'd buy a new dragon for 4.99. Don't know if it's feasible for BFS to incorporate that into the game, i.e. option to purchase a new dragon at a fixed price? If a player wants to gamble a little they can spend the 4.99 on gems, or if they want a sure thing they can just purchase the dragon for 4.99.
For the record, I play 4 games on my phone: 2 Words games, 1 mindless little game (in and out in 10 min), and DV, and only DV on iPad. DV takes up most of my time so my experience w/ games' apps is limited.

Wheeeew... Gave myself a strict budget of 40 gems to spend speeding up breeding for Harvest. 4 gems and 3 minutes remaining and I have a Harvest in the cave!

Happy for you. I'm about 450 gems behind myself, all purchases and speed-ups considered.

I, uh *ahem*, uh, well, may have appreciated the great price for treats a bit too much myself. Goes with the RL gluttony holiday here I guess.
Was just going to get back to 60M on reserves (from 5M after getting the 10th flag bearer / elder shrine) and then focus on getting my DC up from 8 to 10B (I just don't trust that the next island wont be ridiculous in price...).
However, I seem to have appreciated myself into ~120M treats and am down to 6.5M DC. Apparently, my mistrust isn't too great Well, back to Wisp+Wisp until the next event dragon / BeB starts!
