In addition to the new treats we can grow, there are baskets of treats hidden in the parks. Screenshots to come.

So far I've found a bundle, a box and a cornucopia of treats: gems, treats and cash, can't remember which is which: easy to spot

update, and 2 shapeless things like eggs without pedestals...

Just found a cornucopia with treats in it; 10,000. Baskets (2 so far) gave 1,000 treats. Still looking and counting

I found 9 things total before my side went clear. Most were 1000 food. 1 was gems, 1 was 5000, 1 was 10000

I suppose if we want to be efficient, we could try pairing a Tree/Moss with a Nectar/Lotus, and get a chance for both Harvest and Feast at the same time, BUT, you will also run the risk of a rainbow/DR fail if you try that.

Beanstalk is 5mil coins for 100K food in 1 H

Talontaters is 2X coins for 4X the food in 2X time. So that's more efficient, yes.

Jelly Plant is 1/50 the price for about 1/8 the food in the same amount of time. So that is more efficient too.

Personally I'm going with Talontaters.

ah yes, thank you. I figured out how to math. The new stuff is 25 cost per food versus beanstalks' 50. Pretty good deal

I'm taking the gamble in my CBC...put my Nectar there. For the other two breeding areas, I'm going to see if my Elders are worth more than just 1st place in the Collosseum.

By the way, does anyone know when this event ends??

Both are a good deal. As always with treats, I choose based on how long between park visits. I will grow several batches of Jelly Plants while I'm redecorating and doing maintenance. When I close down in a while I'll grow Talontaters in most of my farms. They're a good deal if you usually grow Beanstalks.

Anybody know what "limited time" is for the Om of Noms? Annoyingly all my news items disappeared even though I didn't use the Clear button, so I can't go back and review if there was an indication

There is just a glass hour on both, so we don t know for how long they will be available.
My guess, they go when BFS decides a sufficient big amount of gems have been purchased lol

Ha, maybe keeping the duration vague increases player paranoia which often translates to desperation-purchases!

I'm trying to decide if the island theme is worth the gems. I like those so much more when we can buy them with candy/tickets!

It would have been so cool if they had offered a seasonal island theme that changes with the habitats and dragons.

For me, at 250 gems the answer is no. If there is a sale I might reconsider. Otherwise I'll wait until next year. Maybe it will be a prize then.
