Hi Woodstock ( ahhh great daze) if you check the list of threads on this forum you will find a wonderfully maintained Coop breeding thread (coop cave and twins, I think it's called), colour coded by type of dragon too ( thanks to fab mod Cyn, assisted by others from tyme to tyme) and regularly updated, with people's GCID so if you need to first add any new parks you can FR that park keeper. You want the first page of that as reference, then people post on that to state what they have up for coop breeding. Hope that makes sense koala in your efforts!

Anyone willing to weigh in on my strategy? It's a long post... I lost out on a few days after my iPhone took a dip in my toilet (it sort of works, Apple is FedExing me a replacement for a fee). I did manage to breed a few Surprise dragons and I redeemed roses early on for one Aura Habitat and a Serenity dragon.
I have 20,776 roses and am planning to get (unless I can breed one within the next 5 days):

Welcome Sharon and - beth75 -. It is possible to eventually send 10 gifts daily. The Dragonsai tree as you already know gives you an extra three gems. There is also a Dragonsai bush that allows one extra and Goodies Treatery allows you to give three lots of treats.
The last two were event rewards from earlier events and so are not available at the moment. But all things come around again eventually in the world of Dragonvale.
And remember while there is a daily limit on the number of gifts you can give, the number you receive is only limited by your friends' generosity.

Overall quite happy with this event. I really liked the new dragons, and a relatively shorter event time with things less expensive overall. I was able to get everything I wanted with just a bit left over, despite several derp moments with trying to bank from the card match game! Also have an Okenite coming right away so all in all a happy camper.
Didn't ever get that Carnival twin, but I can live with that!

Ah, Buffy, I did indeed find little Pom Pom snoozing by the hot springs in one of my omnitats. Unfortunately, she's already gotten into the dragon treats and has been splashing around in the fountain of youth. I've hauled her out, but she's happily settled into my second aura habitat and I'm inclined just to let her stay. Feel free to come by and visit though! (And yes, Pom Pom is now the name of my second babified Surprise dragon.)

I'd have 586 roses left to get the Ire pedestal and the Delight or Melancholy pedestals.
I was thinking to skip the Omnitat (I have 1 from last year) but wasn't sure if that would be a better choice than the 2nd Aura habitat.

I would go with a 2nd Aura habitat, 2 Omnitats and the Berrywhite Tree.
Keep in mind the 2nd Aura habitat will be stow away while the two Omnitats can be displayed, and hopefully reduce backlog in the Hibernation Cave.
Thanks for your advice. I'm going to take it and get the 2nd Omintat instead of the Bouquet Bubbler and the Ardent Archway -- I'll still have enough berries left over to get at least 1 pedestal.

I have about 8600 plus banked and have gotten everything I need. I have all aura dragons and pedalstools, bought 2 omnitats and 2 aura habitats. What else should I get? I feel like it's such a waste of roses:(
I would say any decorations because they might return as prizes eventually, and then you'll have a head start. If Backflip sticks with the "unlocking collections" stuff, which I think they will.
Also, lower-level parks can buy and sell Moonstruck Pedestals for 2.5 million DC per 160 roses. High-level parks are probably better off taking the treat conversion.
There are only 2 decorations I can buy and I don't care for either. I would have to store them and pay for extra storage:(
