There were some comments a while back about the peculiar number of candies we got one day - 1313. I looked back a bit, but didn't find the post.
Did we figure out the significance of that?
I was amused by it as I had spaced out one night and did not collect all the candies on one of my accounts, ended up with xxx12 candies. Soooo, when we got that 13 that account ended up with a satisfying 25!
On another note I am in disbelief that I forgot to buy the Nightbloom when I realized I wasn't going to be successful with breeding it. Oh well, something to do during BEB. Same account also missed Nether. I think I will be able to buy all the other new ones, but have not purchased much yet.

I finally just bought Nightbloom and the pedestal, as well as the other dragons (minus Thicket). Also got everything but the pedestals, which I'll have more than enough for by the end of the event. Next question is, I've got enough after getting everything else for at least one more dragon. What has been hard for people to breed between the new 4 and Nightbloom? Is there one that is especially annoying element-wise that I should get the second of instead of trying to breed for it?
I had to buy Nightbloom as well, it's the first limited weekend dragon that I wasn't able to breed. As far as seconds, I suggest decay and thicket, that way you don't have to deal with the long Arctic and tree fails (I know garden has tree as well but it's just two elements and a total of 4 possible outcomes so that and bog aren't bad in terms of breeding for a second in my opinion).
As soon as I bought it, I got the timer for Nightbloom. Oh DV, I should have known! At least I've got two and an egg now.
Thanks for the advice about the seconds! I think I'll start breeding for Thicket in the CBC until the last minute, then if I don't manage to get it, buy it. If I do, I'll go for Decay next, then Garden, then Bog in that order. I've still got to buy the pedestals, but overall have everything I wanted from the event!

About the 1313 - It was referencing to the Munster, an American sitcom. The Munsters lives at 1313 Mockingbird Lane. ladybelle mentioned it first on here.
Nightbloom - Just a thought....
Assume that you will purchase the other 4 dragons in time , in stead of waiting to breed Nigthbloom during BeB, it may be advantageous to try for it now in the CBC. Moon element will add more fails during BeB.

I also missed Nether. Bred one Nightbloom. But forgot if I wanted to purchase a second I needed to do it before it expired.

That's a bit of an understatement. Being able to breed a single specific dragon during BeB is lucky. Especially if you're rolling 4+ elements.
Remember last year's Aurora Avalanche? And the year before that, the Leap Year Lament? Or perhaps that was 2 years prior.
Maybe this year, we'll have a Double Leap Year Disaster.

Thanks for the reminder, I will try for Nightbloom in the coop. It sounds like BEB is going to be a nightmare with the extra element from epics.

I will have very sketchy internet from the 13th through the 23rd, lol. I am already getting worried i may not be able to participate at the beginning. 😂

it's really more of a mini event. Er, last year's was, not sure about this year's. I need to get the harvest theme and it's safe to assume Feast and (almost typed famine) HARVEST will return haha. Plus the great crops we can grow....I know someone will chime in here and help me remember the nickname we have for them.....fiery fruits?

I am going to miss Whitbee and the great pumpkin. On the bright side, sandoklos is coming to town.
okay...if someone prefers Christmas over Thanksgiving then...sure.
I totally forgot about the mini harvest event we had. Hmmm, need to pay better attention to the events. On a side note, Christmas is my favorite holiday.
Ok, I think I'm done collecting, I've bought everything, have 2 and an egg of all the dragons except Thicket and have 11528 candy in hand and 25,758 banked, so I should be in line for 81.3M Treats in a week, I'm happy with that.

Just happen to think that Double Leap Year dragons are pretty, so I bred some more....
