Whitbee's Candy Bash 3: The Sweetening

I'm quite pleased... bought or bred everything and have 1203 candies left over plus a lot banked (not sure how much... didn't add it all up).

I even managed to get a second Nightbloom by breeding the first with a Pharaoh. So if anyone didn't get the Nightbloom, that combo in the co-op may be worth a try. I blue-hearted my Nightbloom just in case.

I've bought everything on my shopping list! Got that second Lycan and another Ortreat, all the decorations and the new path. It doesn't seem sporting not to be breeding for something, so I'm not buying the pedestals. Too lazy to add up banked treats, approximately plenty. This was a "funner" event - no stress. By the way, if you'd rather have cash than treats, you can buy stuff with candy to sell for cash.

I thoroughly enjoyed this event. I managed to collect all the dragons on my list, and my Halloween/autumn themed island looks great. I'll miss watching the moon change phases and the spooky Halloween music, but I'm ready for the re-release of harvest and feast, along with the other dragons they bring back this time of year.

Just want to say I am so tired of BF new suggestions with arrows to places where there s no space.
Why on Earth could a serious company go that low? It's disturbes the beauty of the play.

While you *can* do this, if you are *ever* going to grow treats again in the game, I would strongly suggest you don't. The value of the cash you get out of doing this is *way* less than the value of the treats you get.

Edit: At low levels it might be worthwhile, as the 'Pile-of-Treats' doesn't actually get you much!

If your Pile of Treats IAP is smaller than 200,000 treats, then repeatedly buying and selling the Wailing Well is better than letting your candy convert.

If you're planning with Fiery Figs in mind, the cut-off point is 400,000 instead.

That is of course assuming the standard 1000 candy → 1 PoT.

Is there anyway to get a lycan or spectre egg instead of the dragon? When I try to buy them, I can't incubate; they go right in a habitat.

No, only the Dragon is possible, not the pedestal. You have to breed for that.

MAJOR ROOKIE ERROR!
I was pretty diligent with logging into my baby parks each day throughout the event. But I forgot to select the free dragon on almost every park! I can't believe I did that. I also forgot to buy Nightbloom in a few parks as well.

Anyhow, I'm pretty happy with how I did with this event, but I am a bit sad that I didn't send gems/treats to my friends EVERY day. I need 5 devices to do so now. I really enjoyed the Hallowe'en events of the past 2 years, and this year's 3rd instalment was just as enjoyable! The new dragons were all cool, and the additional Spooky Hab was great!

My main park got everything, and I got various surprises across my baby parks. Now to breed the 2 new fire dragons and my Dragonarium will be roaring again!

Now that the hourglass icon next to the new event dragons (Bog, Thicket, Garden and Decay) is grayed out, does that mean they can no longer be breed/cloned? I know that they were like the House dragon from the last event where they can only be cloned (e.g., Garden+Garden), but they aren't Epics, so does that mean they can no longer be cloned in the Co-Op? Thanks!

They didn't have a breeding combo to begin with, so them being "expired" doesn't mean or change anything.

They can always be cloned by breeding like+like.

Yes, all dragons can always be cloned with Like+Like, only epics can be cloned with Like+Epic, chances aren't high with that last one, but it can be done.

I believe Steelbluefire mentioned previously that BFS is aware of the issue, understands it's annoying for players, and is working on it. We'll probably get a fix for it in the next update, which will most likely come around when the Candy Bash ends (they'll need to change the icon regardless), so I'm sure just a bit more patience on our part and we we wont have to deal with it for long!

I hate this feature! I wish we could turn it off. The larger the park, the more annoying it is. ....... just whining in case bfs doesn't plan on a fix.

I don't keep records like some of you do, so when I noticed I wasn't sure of it. But today when I collected candy from my friend who had over 1000 candies, the remaining over 1000 was listed. But when I went back to check there is no remainder and that amount was not added to the backflip studios total. I was hoping the remainder would be turned into treats.

Has anyone else have this problem? Will this be resolved by itself or do I need to contact backflip studios? I don't have numbers to tell for sure how much I am missing.

If you completely close down the app and open it again, the Backflip gift should then contain those extra candies. For some reason it doesn't update right away, but it's just a display bug from what I've experienced.

Thank you Mr. Bones. You are right. I thought I had more remaining. I think I may have collected from backfill by accident one day.
