Because we all are so caught up in the Rose Snafu I am copying my post from the tips thread here.

I almost missed it with the roses snafu but all island themes are on a deal right now!!!😱

Its Decorate Your Park Week. Limited decorations are also avaialable and on some on sale!

Drown your sorrows in decorating as you wait for BF to fix this. I am sure they will fix this rose Snafu 😊

Facebook is blowing up, and people are Not Happy. Don't worry, guys - it seems like this affects everyone. I'm sure they'll fix it - the only question is, will we get anything good as a consolation gift to make it up to us?

I reported from the in game email support, and got this reply:

"Thank you for contacting Backflip Studios Support! This is an automated response to let you know we've received your request, but rest assured you will be contacted by a Customer Support team member. We are currently experiencing an extremely high volume of email and response times are longer than usual."

Huh, wonder why there's such an extremely high volume....

Actually if i'm figuring this right it shouldn't be that hard for Backflip to put our roses back. I missed this initially (which is probably why I thought I didn't get enough in the exchange) but in my gifts I have 32,340,000 DC to collect. At 1000 coins per rose that works out to 32,340 roses. I'm not sure if that was just my gifts or if it also included what roses I had left. Anyway it shouldn't be that hard for Backflip to just reverse this and then give us the time to spend our roses. Also it appears you can still buy roses in the market, but there would be nowhere for them to go because I tried to collect a few roses that i had not collected from friends as of yet and they just got lost in space, so that's probably what would happen if anyone tried to buy roses in the market.

Aaaand BFS have scored again! Cannot 'buy another' deco, have to renter market, refind, reselect and rebuy FOR. EVERY. PURCHASE (oops shouting kiwi, remember, keep calm and play Dragonvale) 😈👿😈👿

I feel sorry for the poor soul that got the date wrong on the conversion...oh my word.

I am so happy that I bought most of everything I wanted already, but feel bad for those that didn't spend their event currency yet. I really hope that BFS makes it right for everybody.

I would advise those who have not logged in yet to refrain from doing so until Backflip sorts this thing out.

And for those who have logged in and had their roses converted to cash - I would definitely recommend opening a ticket with Backflip support and be sure to note the cash amount you were given, in case they are able to restore your roses.

I know we are not supposed to be able to have all the roses to spend that friends have given us, but I think to help make up for this flowery fiasco they should pull off the grand gesture and make us all smile.

I should always read here first before logging in each day. Lost all my left over roses too, and friend's roses in social were also converted. I had bought everything I wanted yesterday except the eggs, which I can still breed fairly easily.
I told my wife to hold off logging in, she hadn't spent any yet and was waiting until the end. Hopefully it's fixed later today so she can login safely.

I don't need all my roses back, but I did have enough to buy my missing pedestals.  I really don't want to spend the next month trying for them.

To be safe, don't touch your gifts lists til BFS have fixed this

For me the timer has come back where it shows how many roses I have, but the roses is still 0.

By fixed I mean that logging in no longer converts your roses. If it already happened to you, then you still have to wait for Backflip to sort you out.

Hmmm. How will they know which roses were in social vs main park. Both were converted. Thinking it might be a huge advantage if they reverse the dc to rose conversion.
