Well, I searched my park twice and could not find the Jumbo Golden Egg. Found it on the 3rd time through AND...IT WAS A DJINNI!!!
Got ‘em all (and two extras for Peds) but NONE of them via breeding...
Gonna save all my Silver Doughnuts till the last minute just in case they hit us with a Limited...

This event is already feeling much less stressful after 3 days of free eggs and lots of rings to spare. I've gotten a Regal and a Scarab, plus a twin of each. Now breeding Bog + Kite, Bouquet + Liberty for a chance at Djinni and Opulent. Glad many players have had great luck so far!
Has anyone noticed that the ring currency means that we're probably getting another Roar of the Rift this summer? Hmm...

I have not managed to breed a single dragon - and all of my eggs have been Regal. However, I doo have a neighbor with a scarab in the rift. Does anyone know what the best breeding option to clone it would be? Send me some Koala - not sure how many gems I have spent - spent all of my etherium... just not lucky.

you can select pairs which give you fails you want, as well as trying for Scarab just be aware it seems the breeding odds are very low refer to OP this thread and 🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨

Omg I just got another regal. EVERY egg in my park has been a regal! One day I didn’t even have an egg. I haven’t been able to breed a single dragon or clone one. Sending you luck!
I QUIT! Just went to buy an egg since I’ve gotten a regal every day (including 2 that I bought).......I got another Regal. This is wrong! I’m done now. They need to fix their algorithms. I’ve accepted that I do crappy during every event but this is beyond poop!

At the very beginning of the event I bought one egg with rings and got Opulent. Then....Every! Single! Other! egg has been Regal! Boo Hiss!
I don't think I've done too badly so far all things considered.
I haven't been able to breed a single one of the dragons in the CO-OP or the cave or island and wasted close to a thousand gems, but I've done pretty good in the rift even while managing to stop breeding every day at 10,000 E.
Most of my hidden eggs have been regal and one day I didn't find the egg at all. And I've spent most of my rings buying eggs as soon as I get them, those have all mostly been regal as well. Still I got pretty lucky in the rift and collected the rifted version and a non rifted version of 3 out of 4 of the dragons. All I need now is a twin opulent and a rifted scarab. I doubt I will get the scarab as I have neither a rifted gold or loot so I have to get those before I can even begin to try for a scarab. I have none of the pedestals. I am not going to spend any more rings unless a limited dragon is added and if not I will buy whatever pedestals I can afford with the rings I have left. I have been pretty lucky so sending my koalas out to those who need them.

I consider this by far the worst event that they've ever done. Worse than the one where they didn't give us enough to buy the limited dragon the first weekend before fixing it. Worse than the last starfall event, where we couldn't buy the dragons but they were fairly easy to breed and not limited.
Between my account, my several alts, my kids, and my wife, we've managed to get one Djinni bred on one child's device. 6 days with 4 doubles, so basically 10 days worth of currency per account - that's 70 days worth of attempts combined with the free mystery egg for 4 days each, so many countless breeds between them, and one Djinni. With a week left on this event, I can pretty much count out my chances of getting this dragon on my main account. I think the Dragonvale World team is taking control of this game, as they ran their own game into the ground with these types of changes. The odds are set way, way too low. By a factor of 10 or more. And when I'm not spending my futile time breeding or buying mystery eggs for this one dragon, I'm searching through 20+ decorated islands for a hidden egg that has almost no chance of being the dragon I need. Spending 15+ minutes checking each island and finally giving up, restarting the game and then restarting the search is so much fun.
I can't wait for this event to end. I'll put up that Djinni egg on the kid's game and have them leave it there until I get a clone someday. This is the frustration that made me quit DV World, and while I have a lot more time invested in this game I'm still not going to stick it out if they continue this trend. Throw in the whole punishing players who pay them money by removing free gems issue, and you have to wonder what happened at Backflip to crash them so far from being such a top mobile gaming company.
This event is frustrating but I am slowly getting the event dragons. I have what feels like Hundreds of RRegals, several Opulents, 2 days ago a Scarab and today finally a Djinni. I really feel like I have worked for them having to get in the game multiple times each day scouring for chests and the all important Golden Egg. At least the chests also give abundant essence which is nice since I tend to find most chests after my daily ring limit has been met. I feel like BFS should adjust the odds a bit given the overall frustration of many players but I am trying to stay patient and remember this is a game - I am supposed to be enjoying this! I do like the look of the new dragons. I splurged on a giant treasure habitat to display them.

I’m glad at least to see that I’m in the same boat as everyone else! I have been lucky to breed one Djinni and one Rift Opulent. I received one Regal and one Twin Regal, and every other egg I’ve found or bought has been Opulent! They’re a cool looking dragon, but I don’t need ten of them! And I never found two eggs during Doubles Week - each day I only found one, no matter how hard I looked.

If using three elements or less on the regular vale side there are no rainbow fails. If using three in the rift you will get rainbow fails because the rift element counts as the fourth element which is required for rainbows.

Just used Scarab and Pepper in the CBC and bred a Double Rainbow
I have only spent rings on a treasure theme so far. I am making sure there are no limited surprises and/or the event dragons listed for a certain amount before the event is over.
I have at least one version of 3 out of 4 dragons so far. I am going after Scarab, but for those of us that have all the other dragons and have kept up the daily rewards, an epic log in egg is less than thirty days. 😉
Well, I share a lot of the frustrations. After the umpteenth traited regal and several searches for the golden egg, I muttered quite a few words not fit for company, a few threats to rage quit, and was just about to throw the iPad across the room, when I gave it one last search.... managed to find the egg and it was a Djinni.
Just to echo what has been said...while I am extremely lucky compared to what I have read of others’ *luck*, the fun seems to be getting sucked away bit by bit. i spent a little money on rings for an extra egg purchase, but am very disappointed in the direction the game seems to be headed, so I won’t be doing that again.
Nine days into this event and have yet to breed one of the new ones, not even in the Rift. Slowly acquiring them through Mystery Eggs but where is the fun in that? What is wrong with BFS? The entire premise of the game is in BREEDING DRAGONS! If breeding them is made impossible, what is the point?
Well, BFS just HAD to start a new event the same week my daughter graduates from high school! I’m just now getting a chance to read through the thread and get the skinny on everything. I found one gold egg so far, and it was an Opulent. I’m glad to see these dragons are breedable, but I wish we could purchase them outright instead of just Mystery Eggs!
I had in laws in town. missed collecting at all one day and didn't know to search for gold eggs before now. Oh well
Another day, another no Djinni. I know I was having no luck with me or my family getting this dragon, but I saw some posts on other forums about how easy it is and everyone seems to be getting it. When I chimed in that it was more difficult, I got jumped on that I'm just having bad luck.
I never got my Game Center setup with 100s of players when it was available, but I did manage to add around 25 from this community, with 21 still active. Most of those 21 have all dragons in the dragonarium, except the new legendary and these new treasure dragons.
Of those 21, 4 have the Djinni dragon. 17 do not. All but one had the other 3 new treasure dragons. With a week to go, it's not looking good for most of us and this will need to be one to trying cloning over a long period of time. If you do happen to be lucky and have this dragon, you might consider leaving it up in co-op after the event when there is nothing else pressing to share.
