I hope everyone had a good event and that at least a few of the event dragons were obtained. Friendly reminder that any dragon that was not obtained during the event can be bred from the CBC and also gotten from the mystery eggs in the Rift or a daily log in gift. 😊 For this event I missed out on rift versions of Djinni and Loot, but I just got a rift Azurite last night, so I’m not too upset. It’s a long term goal to get rift versions of every dragon, after all, and I’m only missing 25 rift versions.
Late yesterday I was trying to decide if I should buy my final Mystery Eggs right then or wait until today. I had saved enough for three. After coming on the forum and reading that others were having a bit of Koala, I went ahead and started buying the eggs. First one: Twin Rifted Regal, SURPRISE! Sold it. Thinking: Is this going to be three Regals in a row? Just go for it. Second one: Twin Rifted Opulent. Not a Regal but already had it and the pedestal so, sold it. Last egg: Twin Rifted Scarab! Unbelievable! My only Rifted Scarab and yes, I hatched it. I’m wondering if they didn’t increase the odds a bit for yesterday and today to give you what you’re missing.
FYI: If you have leftover Rings, the Platinum pedestal costs 370 Rings and pays out 6M DragonCash when sold. The Gold pedestal costs 255 Rings and pays out 5M DragonCash when sold.
I went ahead to spend all of my ring total on Mystery Eggs for a chance for the last 3 Rift Treasure dragons. And I got 3! more Djinnis, 2 more Scarbs, with the rest being Opulents. NO REGALS.
So much for everyone else getting Regal repeatedly on their unlucky eggs.

Thank you, Cyn! This helps me decide what to spend my leftovers on!

So gold is the better one to buy for cashing out then (22k/ring compared to 16k/ring).

Only if you have 510+ Rings to sell. If you have between 370 and 509, stick with Platinum.

What a joke. I am officially done spending any money on Dragonvale!
Player from the beginning here, and I always spend a little money on each contest. I have, in the past, felt I owed it for game I love to play.
That has ended. If I can no longer ensure I receive all the prizes, no matter how much I spend, then I won't spend any. I literally could have spent $100 on rings, and NOT gotten the Djinn dragon. How idiotic is that?
I am done. No more. Screw you Backflip. I hope you go under and I will find a new game to play daily
And to leave me with 500 rings, with nothing to spend them on? Really? and give me a lousy 500,000 for them?? Really??

I'm resigned, though, to having to clone Djinni via Coop, so please, Friends of mine - make one available!
freitag, In our prior efforts to connect via FB; were you able to see my park/coop w my draggies? I've 💙 Djinni in case; 🐨🐨
very soon now... I feel a 'what the, why not' moment approaching to upgrade and risk my old GC pals being lost... So many have reassured me they've upgraded iOS and NOT lost pals, and my Ingame dragon luck has been so poor for the past 2 events that surely, surely I've used up the bad luck bucket w my name on it... Momentarily anyway?! so... If this new event will just hold off for a few days, I might push the button this weekend 😳😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱

So here’s my take on this event: Everything we got was for free. We got at least 10 free dragons from the event currency, all we had to do was breed dragons in the Rift like any other day. That’s not counting the golden eggs that you could find on your park on double ring days either. I was able to buy 16 mystery eggs, and even though I know that I was super lucky (I only missed out on getting a rift Djinni), this was the first event that provided us with the possibility of getting regular, twin, and twin rift versions of all of the event dragons. Sure, everyone got a bunch of unwanted regal and opulent dragons, but those dragons sell for a decent price and/or earn a fair amount of DC. Or they could have been used in the Rift, which helps lower level players breeding for other dragons in the rift, like if they didn’t have a rift dragon with the elements that these events dragons contribute when breeding (like plant, water, air, and light for regal). I understand how some things could be frustrating with this event, like how BFS got rid of banking, but the negativity I’ve seen (mostly on Facebook) is, to me, an overreaction. I personally loved the event. I understand not everyone had the same experience nor felt the same way. But overall, this event did not have the same frantic energy so other events have had in the past, where you needed to play multiple times a day in order to get the max daily limit of event currency. Laid back, no weekend limited dragons, and even some Essence for T’saishen - this one was a-ok in my book.

Rofl, this was the worst event BFS ever did, showing blantly how much the aim is to ripp off gamers. I could breed three dragons, ie got twins if two in addition. Bought all eggs but ... could never get Djini, neither with golden eggs (repeatedly the same ones) nor in buyng a final total of 33 mystery eggs!!!! I spent a 100 dollars on that. No Djini. Ok, you can call me stupid but I wanted to know to which extend BFS made fools of us, ie me, crooks, that s what I consider them to be. Needless to say, they won t see any $ from me ever now. I finally got a Djini using a wish. And now they throw one event after the other, money money money. Allmost seven years of playing is probably enough. Many others have given up, including Poppy.
