You still have some time to try to breed Dracabra. I forgot it was breedable until yesterday and still managed to get it in the rift in 3 out of 4 parks. The odds don't seem to be that bad.

Somehow I am 600 tickets short for Abraxas... does that seem right? I have only used tickets to purchase the new dragons of each element. I feel like I should have had enough? Stuck at 9200 and don't know if I should skip Abraxas and save them for the 1 unique prize it says i have at the grand finale...

You should have had enough, I have 9985 remaining (don't need to buy the Abraxas as I got it in a mystery egg when the Faire started).
Unfortunately, it can't be bred in coop, so unless it becomes a rift regular (like the other ones) you can't breed it.

My feeling is that to give us a new dragon or new building that does something (like a shrine or a weather station) on the last day, with no ability to preview and plan for it, when they know the vast majority of players are going to be running dry on tickets, would be a particularly jerky thing to do. They've obviously been looking for ways to push the envelope lately, so my faith in BFS is hardly rock-solid at this point, but I do think this move would be a bridge too far for many people. So tentatively, I'm assuming that whatever they're offering, it won't fall into the Essential category. Whether it's a new dragon that's permanent, a mystery egg (maybe for this event's dragons? That would be cool...), or anything else we can easily live without, it's not going to cause hordes of players to want to rage-quit.

Ah...so the one unique item we were seeing is an epic mystery egg (which contains the usual disclaimer about not being the most recent dragons) plus they brought back all 5 event dragons. No pedestals, though. Still, that's reasonable. Crisis of faith averted.
And as guessed, the 3 items for sale are the 2 epic upgrades and the gargantuan island. I had 1k tickets banked, which isn't enough to buy that epic mystery egg (1185 vs 2k). At least we were able to get everything new, minus the eggs.

Someone on reddit just posted that they got it using a traited Rainbow with a traited Double Rainbow, so the breeding hint is incorrect and needs to be fixed.

I don't see the "Grand" in the "Grand Finale." Other than the egg, which I can buy in the rift, at anytime, I have all of the prizes. I was really expecting something different. Sorry I didn't spend my tickets in previous tiers. C'est la vie!

Hey - the four limited event dragons (excluding snow) have breeding hints up now, and ones like Fireflight which were not previously available in the rift (?) have a trait now. Does that mean they can be bred freely today? Or beyond today? What gives?

I think they can be bred.
I got a dartwing (untraited) in the rift by trying for charmacorn, using rainbow+rainbow

That's probably the Rift parent bug again, still not fixed after all this time: If the dragon's elements are in the pool, you can get it as a result. A Rift Rainbow + Anything should get it if I understand the bugged mechanic correctly, but you might as well use another Rainbow if you've got one.

Interesting, thanks. I’m surprised a fire trait isn’t required.
I presume dragons need to be trait-locked for the custom shaders to consistently work, so one had to be picked arbitrarily. Fire works as a surrogate Rainbow trait fairly well. Light might fit better but there's quite a few light-locked dragons already. It's not really thematically Fire-trait, so it didn't get put as a requirement. Also requiring 2 of the same Epic Rift dragon, and a specific trait would be a fairly mean combo. That's my thoughts at least.
A Mirror dragon turned up in my gifts today, I was wondering where that had come from! Weird. Did everyone get a dragon or are we just part of a lucky few?
