It is absolutely that symbol but I still have no idea what dragons I should use. I had that symbol as well as fire and lightening and no idea what would work. I can tell you this, what I chose did not. With any luck I won't get it again. And the reality is there are other ways to get the necessary tickets to reach the daily limit so no big deal. I just like to undertsand stuff.

Hmm. Sun/Fire/Lightning? That's a tricky one. Most of the Sun dragons only have one or the other. Solarflare should work, and really it should work for all of these as it has the Sun element and contributes all 10 basic elements. Other than that... Pick Sun (the dragon) and throw it in with a friend's Fire element dragon? I think these work if you have all the elements across the pair of dragons... Or at least they used to.

I looked for that symbol in my Dragonarium. I tried a Summer dragon, thinking the symbol in question looked a bit like the Summer category symbol, but that didn’t work any better than using a regular Sun dragon. 😕

Well that makes sense. I used solar eclipse and something with fire and lightening which naturally did not work. Not sure what my logic was, but I was definitely unclear on the concept. Not truly confident that I am completely clear yet, but I am in better shape. Thanks Arkynos. Maybe I have a shot the next time I see one of those kinds of symbols.
Or I could just do what Mr. Bones says works and use double rainbow for both dragons. I guess that would be a double double. Completely different meaning in Canada at Tim Hortons. I could use one now, but I digress.

I've just got it got it for the second time, this time with air and fire... thanks for the 'blanket coverage' tip mr bones, but I'm sill curious about the symbol...in fact I'm having more mental fun trying to puzzle it out , than the game atm 😂
Update: used rainbow: no tickets... Maybe should've been DR...
How / where do I find breeding tips/hints lists?? Just spent 10 mins tapping all sorts of stuff in game, in dragonarium, in help, faq etc can't find... Holp? 😳

So you had selected sun to get that icon, that's a clue... Maybe (puzzle lover here) so other dragons which are popped up when you select for sun are pharaoh midday and dawn, all having sun listed as a paernt and sun itself was not a winner in the arena, so I wonder if it's one of those other three, depending on what the other elements identified in the arena bout are Pharoah midday dawn
now, someone posted a link to a page of listed elements for epic dragons... Ages ago, hopefully we saved it to somewhere ...

I don’t think you need to include a dragon that is a sun type AND contributes fire and lightning. That’s probably overthinking it. I just threw together my inferno with a friend’s Solstice (I think?) and got gold, anyway. So I think you just need 2 dragons to contribute those elements. And both of them being lvl 20 helps.

Sorry, no help from me - I’m awful at it too. But I’m wondering.. Am I the only person who tilts their device to try to get the stupid little way-too-bouncy ball to go where I want it??
And here I thought it was just me! Comes naturally for me as one of my early jobs was playing pinball machines eight hours a day for Bally. Every machine that came off the assembly line had to be played and there was a percentage of games that had to be won or it was sent back to be recalibrated. You would think: What a fun job!... but after four months I could no longer take the: ding, ding... ding, ding... ding,ding,ding,ding I was hearing in my sleep. The equivalent of working with a jackhammer all day. At least we can’t TILT in DragonVale.

I tried Sun with someone's fire-air hybrid but got 50 tickets. Then I went with Solstice and got 200 (it was a doubles day), so I think N/A is on the right track?

Many have now found Sun does not get top tickets when that glyph plus other elements are up, and if Sun is used to represent that glyph, as you found too
the sun family dragons are suggested instead, picking those which also have the base elements which are up, which is what you proved with Solstice 😊 Yaay:) Update; didn't work on 3rd time I had air and fire asked for: solstice and inferno =50 tickets...

Really, BFS? - Arena (crash!) - Quest (crash!) - Ad (crash!) - Races (crash!) - Colloseum (crash!) - Breed (crash!) Can't you do any worse?
and here I thought it was just me. Frustrating though, huh? It happened to me after I bought a mystery egg, and of course it didn’t save so I lost something I wanted :/.
