At first I thought it could be countered by waiting for all those special effects and flying thingies to subside. But it turns out if you wait, say, five seconds too long after you've made sure the counters stop moving and visitors are strolling again, it still crashes. It happens on my iPad and my newer iPhone. So... go figure.

Hopefully BFS will figure out a way to make the game run more efficiently. Way too many players are experiencing crashes, so blaming it solely on the device may not be what's causing some of the problems. The flying litter is just downright annoying.

Solarflare worked for me. I got 200 on a doubles day. 


What have pple used to breed the new dragon in the coop (besides inferno)?

I used an Elder Fire with a friend’s fireflight to clone firelight.

As far as the arena, I usually use my lvl 20 double leap year with a co-op epic and that ALMOST always gives the max tickets.

Only if you buy the extra 30 tickets - I think that's the idea.

The doubles day today will allow us to buy the Fireflight dragon. We'll have 8500 tickets by end of day today, 9500 tomorrow, and the dragon goes away at the very end of tomorrow. That will give us nearly 1000 tickets towards the next dragon, which I'm guessing will cost more and have roughly the same time. So far, so good, and I'm happy Backflip didn't put this dragon out of reach.

Hmmm, tapping on the community ticket bucket yields a dialogue box that says the Mystery Egg is a Snowflake dragon, but both of the eggs I opened have been Rift Dragons: Blazing Gale and Ghast. I guess the next community egg will be the Snowflake dragon? (spoiler alert - there is a new Snowflake dragon in the next tier).

So, I popped a Community Egg I had sitting around... and got an Abraxis Dragon (lightning + dark).

Can't hatch it yet because it crashes the game, but come the dark/lightning phase I guess I am set.





Edit: Managed to get it into the nursery and then used Gaia to hatch it... now up for sharing

For the most part I'm enjoying this event very much. I'm happy with how easily we're able to reach our max and really appreciate the doubles days. I'm also happy to have the challenges and mini-games back where we can earn more tickets. I do miss the calendar of treats for daily check-ins. I also miss being able to see all the prizes in each of the prize tiers ahead of time. I prefer to be able to weigh all my options and be paralyzed with indecision before having to make up my mind on the very last day. LOL!

I'm torn, though.. Fireflight is cute and I'm happy we'll have enough tickets for it, but I've been wanting Prism for quite a while and I won't have enough tickets for both. I absolutely refuse to buy tickets. In my main park I bought a single mystery egg for real money when they first came out and the VERY NEXT DAY my ability to watch videos to earn gems was cut in half. I know this issue has been discussed in detail, but I tend to agree with those who feel they are being punished for making a purchase, however small. I understand BFS's rationale that those who have made a purchase before are more likely to do it again, but if my math is right, I am losing out on over a thousand gems PER YEAR. ::sigh:: Apologies for resurrecting a rant that's been discussed at length.

Anyone else think we might get rift versions of the snowflake dragons, seeing as that is our next community egg and the next section of the event is called Frozen Floe? We had Rift monolith mystery eggs, so I could see BFS doing the same for the snowflakes.

Ditto. In my main park I got Plumewing, in my second park I got Light Rift.

I liked the monolith rift eggs since they were purchased with E. I have a feeling the snowflake rift eggs will be tickets and thus too expensive to buy a complete set (stupid random eggs)

My community egg was a Firework dragon with water rift element. Which is funny now that I think about it because shouldn't the water put out the fire?
