I have a Mini 2 that was doing the same exact thing. Drove me crazy. It was running IOS 10 so I decided to bite the bullet and upgrade to 11.4 and by golly that worked. No more crashes. Only problem now is vision chests for Twhatshisface have been going blank-black. At least the first daily chests work fine.
I am still running 9.3.3 as I didn’t want to lose my GC icon, and with it the ability to reconnect with GC friends in a certain other game, but it has become so money hungry (promoting real money deco, stopping free 💎 ads if you buy 💎 - that sort of thing, and moved so far from its original premise that I only play it once in a blue moon now, so judging from your experience, Amaranthia, I guess I should bite that particular bullet, too, as the Mini particularly objects to this version of the event. Thanks for giving me the push I needed.
On a happy note, my Daenerys Targaryen park managed to breed a Tidal first go this morning. (My main park is called “Children of Glaurung” 😄)
I'm confused, what can 9.3.3 do that can't be done in 11.4? While Game Center was removed in ios 10, you still have access to existing GC accounts and friends in ios 10 and 11. You can't add new friends in 10 or 11, but the ability to add friends was disabled in ios 9 and earlier too. Sending requests does nothing in those earlier versions now, from what I had seen.
In the newest version of ios 11, you can see a list of all your current friends and can delete them one by one now, just not add new ones. I wasn't aware there were any features still usable in older versions that you can't do in 11. I really wish Apple would go back on that decision and give us the ability to send friends requests again, I hate using Facebook as the only method to add new people.
This. But I think decades or centuries is more accurate for my particular frame of mind regarding Snowflake dragons. They share a special place deep down in my heart, right next to the malformed, crazy-eyed, stomping, Neanderthal-face Monoliths that make me realise looks do matter. Call me shallow, but ugly and low-earning are not my cup of tea, and I tend to shut my eyes tightly and pretend away the repugnant beasties as I scroll by them, so in this case, more is not better.
...And now I'm realising how hilariously hypocritical my scathing comments on appearance must sound coming from someone with the profile photo I'm using.

So it appears the new Snowflake 6 dragon is breedable with any Snowflake + Snowflake. If someone has Koala and gets one with this method, please let us know to confirm.
Bred Snowflake 5 (level 20) with Snowflake 5 (level 15) on the enhanced breeding island and got timer 01:09:35+. Speeded up and it's 01:18:00 in the nursery, so it looks like it's Snowflake 6. Hit retry and immediately got the same timer, so hopefully I finally found some wandering koalas!

Was busy yesterday dealing with second-hand computer woes/shopping and then sorting out windshield repair for my own car before going to hang out with some friends and by the end of it I was so tired I forgot to buy the limited dragon before bedtime. "Bonus" tickets I guess? Hopefully neighbors keep theirs shared for a while...

I have done this more than once, myself. So frustrating! My sympathies to you.
Snowflake 6 is breedable and permanent. Keep this in mind when spending tickets.
I put up an Elder Ice with a Snf6 and got Permafrost and Quicksand. I think it is Ice, Water and Earth which follows the pattern of the other snowflake dragons. I am trying Century and also breeding for it in my other two caves with Snowflake dragons.

I finally ended up buying it during another event, happy to spend the berries and just get it out of the way. There's something very evil about these snowflake dragons!

Confirmed! Bred back-to-back Snowflake 6 dragons on the island using 2 Snowflake 5 dragons (levels 20 and 15).

Don't give up hope! I finally got a tidal today. But it took me 41 tries (up to 2500E for 4 days). Now waiting to be disappointed in Solstice and Kite.

That kick... Just poetry and physics... How about the change in his face as he went from grandstanding youngster to TOTAL concentration. In awe such a great game 😋😋😋
