I am still running 9.3.3 as I didn’t want to lose my GC icon, and with it the ability to reconnect with GC friends in a certain other game, but it has become so money hungry (promoting real money deco, stopping free 💎 ads if you buy 💎 - that sort of thing, and moved so far from its original premise that I only play it once in a blue moon now, so judging from your experience, Amaranthia, I guess I should bite that particular bullet, too, as the Mini particularly objects to this version of the event. Thanks for giving me the push I needed.
On a happy note, my Daenerys Targaryen park managed to breed a Tidal first go this morning. (My main park is called “Children of Glaurung” 😄)
I'm confused, what can 9.3.3 do that can't be done in 11.4? While Game Center was removed in ios 10, you still have access to existing GC accounts and friends in ios 10 and 11. You can't add new friends in 10 or 11, but the ability to add friends was disabled in ios 9 and earlier too. Sending requests does nothing in those earlier versions now, from what I had seen.
In the newest version of ios 11, you can see a list of all your current friends and can delete them one by one now, just not add new ones. I wasn't aware there were any features still usable in older versions that you can't do in 11. I really wish Apple would go back on that decision and give us the ability to send friends requests again, I hate using Facebook as the only method to add new people.
As I mentioned, it relates to another game that has an issue with connecting to GC. If you still have the GC icon on your springboard, it is possible to force that game to connect to GC by resetting your profile picture and/or motto. Lots of players upgraded without realising they would lose their GC friends from that game. On my main farm, I had to reconnect GC every time I opened the game in order to see my friends. Unfortunately I had an issue that necessitated resetting my Air 2 and forgot to take it off automatic update, it updated to the latest iSO the first night after resetting it, and I lost all my GC friends on that game from my main farm, so basically stopped playing that game. I still have the icon on the Mini, as it only upgraded to 9.3.5, but that device connects GC without a problem, still I am loathe to lose the icon. It’s great we can now see our friends accounts and delete individuals, but I too wish they would bring back the full GC, as I miss interacting with my GC friends.

Golly. Bred 2 SF6, one in coop one in ebi, and got a twin from cynmed this afternoon! (Thanks!🐲❄️) I'm ready for the next dragon without spending any tickets! I like this event so far...
Sigh... Why does it seem impossible to breed Tidal in the Rift? Rift Tidal is one of my dream dragons that I want in my park.

I've just got a Rift Tidal recently! Actually was aiming for a Water Rift. But still, I'm glad I got it before it leaves tomorrow. Now where's my Snowflake 6, dangit. I got Monolith 6 quickly when it was first released but not this one?

Arg! Was busy yesterday dealing with second-hand computer woes/shopping and then sorting out windshield repair for my own car before going to hang out with some friends and by the end of it I was so tired I forgot to buy the limited dragon before bedtime. "Bonus" tickets I guess? Hopefully neighbors keep theirs shared for a while...

Not knowing what prizes will be offered at each tier has left me conflicted. I haven't used any of my tickets. I really don't want to get to the end of the event with a bunch of tickets that will be converted to DC. Hoping for something new and exciting to be offered at some point. The next tier shows 3 unique prizes, probably the new dragon, ped and something else.

I am only having it show 1 new prize for the Goldenleaf... which wouldn't match a new dragon + pedestal.

I feel exactly the same way not knowing what the prizes are in each tier ahead of time. I've made some purchases w tickets, but keep thinking there will be something really good in an upcoming tier that I will miss.

Congratulations! And thank you @jacquirebriggs for commenting that the Frozen Floe tier was due to leave today!! I'm preoccupied w vacation prep and almost forgot. Thanks to you I was able to get the Snowflake hab and #6 for my little park 20 mins before reset. That's my first Snowflake in that park, so I would have been upset if I'd missed it. Whew! 🤩
I got the new Dartwing with Malachite and an other Dartwing. Should also be possible with Ironwood.

I'm going to try that. I ended up caving on Snowflake 6 because I simply had no motivation.
