I’m trying plant + dartwing, since I got thorn that way. I hope we can get it relatively easily, but I’ve gotten a bunch of plant and metal fails, so we will see. The good news is that, once someone gets a rift version (either from mystery egg or when they make dartwing available to breed in the rift), we should be able to pull a ‘spore’ and clone it in the CBC, meaning that we could even get a twin rift dartwing. I’m just hoping BFS doesn’t fix that glitch once it’s available to be rifty. 🤞

I want Dartwing! He's so smiley and happy and cute! Like a flittering little crocodile birdy. 😊💜 But so expensive, too.
I really hope I can breed him before he leaves. I'm trying to save my tickets for the Abraxis, but I might end up spending them on Dartwing then having to retock my supply for the dark/lightning prizes.
But the good news is that I got my Midday dragon. So at least there's that. 😁

I’ve seen the Abraxis dragon mentioned a couple of times but can’t find any info on it at the beginning of the thread. What am I missing?
GCID- peanutzmom:) And yes, you need to include the smiley face
I give gems randomly to those who seem to need them because I'm not organized enough to keep a list, but I'm always looking for more Party Hat friends!
It's just an upcoming dragon that someone found in the data files.
actually, Didn't someone get the Abraxis from a mystery egg?
Ya, I remember seeing that, pic and all. That's some kinda luck. It's what I call scary luck. It's when you know the luck gods are looking at you. I have a theory that there is no koala or bad luck, just luck. Think of it like a big roulette wheel in the sky and everybody has a piece of the luck wheel. Some have a tiny sliver and some have a big ole hunk of the wheel and when they spin that luck wheel those of us who have big pieces have a better chance of something unusual happening. It's like you might win the lottery but just as easily a meteor could fall out of the sky on top of your head. You just never know. I'm not sure how big a piece I want of that luck wheel. At least that's what I tell myself when only average things happen to me, like nothing too good but then nothing too bad either. I guess it's comforting to imagine, considering my ordinary, nothing to write home about, luck, so I console myself with my luck wheel theory. However, there's something to be said for go big or go home. It must be exciting to have a large piece of that luck wheel.

Ooo I like your luck theory cynmed , it has a logic that fits w my own low level luck, steady as we go, nothing hugely good or bad, never win on lotteries or fairegrounds, EVERY time I try to force luck, especially in this game where I've been monitoring it, nada positive result; just spent 500 gems trying to force a pokeynose dragon (? Shrike or something) and absolutely no change to the same three fails ...and there are only 5 possible offspring! Same with the new galaxies, nope no sign of em still, and same with the Treasures, only got what I bought...Done it time and again and I think your theory will help conserve my tooth enamel and my gems in future 😂
Edit; ok, dartwing 😈

PSA:: next community reward draggy is Treasure type: update your Wishlists in Dragonarium...just in case it makes a difference Wish lists are def monitored by some witch or wizard: when I bred my second Garland (yaaay) the other day I was asked did I want G removed from my list... 🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨everyone
For what it's worth, I may have news from Crash City. The crashes mostly begin when filtering is required (quests, races, arena, breeding), particularly when you have to filter two sides.
This doesn't account for the ad crashes, though...
I was the lucky one who managed to get the Abraxas dragon from a community mystery egg I had been hoarding.
I am not sure it is able to be bred even in co-op yet, but I do notice it now has a message about the dragon instead of "abraxas.dragon text here" now.

So I did a bunch of speed up breedings yesterday using the same two dragons (Elder Plant and Co-Op Friend's Level 20 Dartwing) and kept track of the results. 26 breedings yielded 6 Plants, 12 Metals, 4 Malchites, and 4 Ironwoods. While I know the Sandbox odds are not exact, I'm inclined to think this means that when a new dragon is released, regardless of it's "type", it's got incredibly low breeding odds. I'm beginning to wonder if new dragons (released as part of an event) have odds down in the 1% or so level.

This is how it is in co-op in general. The chances of getting either parent dragon from a co-op pairing are greatly reduced compared to normal. As far as I know, it is about a 1% chance.
If you were breeding this same combo in the EBI or BC, you would most likely have several Dartwings by now.

I got the Dartwing on one of my two accounts when I breeded a Malachite with a friend's Dartwing - one of my first tries. And I actually succeeded in getting a co-op golden version so my friend got one as well! But this just seems to be luck ... again
Has anybody actually been able to breed Snowflake 6 since Frozen Floe went away?
The dragon is still showing NOT AVAILABLE in the Dragonarium.
I've been trying in all three locations (my 5 with a friend's 6 in the Co-op) and then 5+5 on Island and 4+3 in Cave - nothing. Been trying since before Frozen Flow went away. Maybe not available yet?

LOL. Yes, it works pretty well for me. When I start to feel down at my lack of koala, I just consider how neutral luck means I'm not likely to be hit by a toilet seat falling from the sky or drown in a bowl of soup. That never fails to pick me up a bit.

Yeah, I'm calling bull on the elder and level 20 dragons "much better breeding odds" as stated in game. A level 20 Dartwing and Elder should produce a Dartwing over plant and metal dragons galore. It is to the point where going after event dragons is not fun anymore. When I first started playing the game if you had an elder you could usually get at least 2-3 event dragons each event and might miss out on a couple. I could always get dragons and the themes, a few decorations and pedestals since I could breed a couple of them. Now all my event currency goes to buying the event dragons and I barely have enough for that because the prices for them are so high.

Lucky. I keep getting metal and plant primaries, and one ironwood that I dumped in co-op with a friend's Dartwing.
