I finally got the pink flame, it was the one piece I needed to complete all three decorations. It was in the last summoning chest I bought. Of course it was the last chest I bought, why would I continue to buy chests after getting all the decorations (sounds like when people say it was in the last place I looked. Sorry, I slipped away on a stream of consciousness detour. I constantly have to rein myself in or I go off wandering aimlessly, a verbal walkabout I guess. Anyway, I have all 3 decorations, a porcelain and a wrath, but no corrupticorn since I was never able to get another chromacorn to evolve. I also bought all 3 effs and their corresponding primary dragons. I also purchased the 3 available spooky habitats and a pharaoh pedestal. That's it. The rest I must have spent on summoning chests. Hard to keep track of where all the candy went, but it's gone. That's kind of the way it usually is with me and candy.
Is there no way of keeping track of those ritual thingies to collect other than a paper inventory?
Please enlighten me when you have the time, I'll find time to pop back in here.
(This is what I mean by Dragonvale feeling like a job. An unpaid job, at that).
They're listed under Dragonarium > Decorations > Spooky. There's admittedly 6 other decorations in there as well, but making a new category for them would be far too sensible so of course it hasn't happened. 😁
Although I thought I would completely ignore the new Ghostly category of dragons, I decided that I actually liked the idea of a Ghostly Ghost & a couple of others. I have extra plain old ghosts that I wouldn't mind changing into Ghostlies, but is it too late to do that? I bought the 3 effigies, but can't seem to figure out how to ghostify ones I already have. Do I have to breed new ones, or now wait for BEB or next year's Halloween event? I'm not only Utterly Rifted, I'm ghosted. AND I still haven't been able to breed a Chromacorn. I absolutely refuse to use a wish for one; those are saved for islands. It will be interesting to see how long (as in years) it takes me to actually breed one.
Edited to add: At the beginning of the event where the Chromacorn was introduced, I only needed T' Shen (or whatever it's name is), for my Dragonarium to sparkle; now I need TWENTY dragons! I have simply got to import new koalas to help out!
You can only evolve the basic elementals into ghostliness so you need to breed them, and you're on a timer until the market closes and the ghostly gang are (probably) going to be unbreedable using their actual combos.
I'm thinking best bet is probably to try and social parent clone them and hope that my friends both got different ones to me and they'll keep them up for a while until I can complete the set. This is all well and good until everyone swaps to Thanksgiving dragons... including the 36 new "Jellybean" variants of old dragons, transparent and green this time!
Jellybeans are a Thanksgiving thing, right? I really know nothing about the holiday except for the traditional shopping riots as it ends. 🤷♂️
Actually no, Arkynos, jellybeans are the Easter Bunny thing. So for Thanksgiving we should be getting the “Turkey” version of the dragons to go along with the “Turkey” version of the game they have already served up. 🦃

Same exact thing happened to me...,that pink flame grrrr I don’t have a corrupticorn pedestal (can we breed w another corrupticorn in coop or is it Rift only). I figure I can breed a wrath pedestal down the road. That leaves me with enough for a theme or two pedestals....thoughts?

I spent candies in one game to see if I could get the last 3 flames needed for Corrupticorn. And I did! So I used a wish for a second Chromacorn, bred the 2 Chromacorns together to get a display egg. Everything was just perfect, until I realized that I'm 142 candies short of being able to evolve that second Chromacorn. I'm so torn - do I spend a couple of bucks in the eternal quest for all the dragons, or just live with having all the lovely decos but no Corrupticorn? This isn't even my main game, I ran out of candies there before I got the last flame.

As I said in my post, I did sell off all the duplicates yesterday and started buying the Day and Night Chests including one of each just before I posted. I only get Porcelains and Tendrils. I have Candy for 3 more but I figure I’ll wait until later in the day in hopes that maybe, just maybe the odds or my luck will increase.
Is it possible to clone Porcelain + Porcelain in the Co-Op right now to get a Pedestal or do we have to wait for BEB?
EDIT: Just remembered that I can only buy 2 more Chests because if I get my coveted Blue and Purple Flames, I need Candy to Evolve a Chromacorn.
EDIT II: Reread my earlier post on the previous page and noticed a typo that kinda fits... Chromacorn now evolves to Corrupticon.
well, i'm ending the event one flame short of a corrupticorn. i guess i'll spend money, for candies, to get a... tiny chance at the flame i need? NOT.
oh well, look at me saving money to buy LEGO instead.
We will see if by the end of the day I’m right there with you. Two more chances at my missing two Flames though I keep hearing - “Are you feeling lucky, punk?” - every time I think of spending the last of my Candy.
Speaking of spending real money on a game, I just dropped $ over at Fishdom after playing it for the last couple of weeks and having quite a bit of fun. Kept getting the ad here at Dragonvale and decided to download it. Fun game similiar to the Gem drop games with a bit of fish collecting, a bit of decorating, and you get to denote explosives. What’s not to like? Plus the fish have talking blurbs above their heads which encourage and cheer you on along with a bit of humour. All the new dragons have been mocking me so I find Fishdom a fun, relaxing change of pace. Played it for two weeks without spending a dime as it is not necessary to move forward in the game. Decided to reward them for a wonderful product and may decide to check out their other games.

So, if you aren't a completionist and don't want to evolve any more wrath (or porcelain) sell off three of those decorations to get the candy you need to evolve your Corrupticorn.

So after purchasing one of the many missing ghost dragons at the end, I had 1000 left over candy. I took out my twin cold and twin earth from storage and evolved them into twin ghostly cold and earth dragons. I figured it's 10x easier to clone another twin cold than it is to clone a ghostly one during twins weekends.
Uh oh...I think the time change has messed up the game. The Event Island is gone in my game! I can still earn candies and access the bazaar, but no more mini-games or the arena.
Update: The Event Island returned! So, whatever happened was at least a short-duration glitch.
I had this happen to me during the only time I had to play this game that day. However, it only happened in one park. I expected some sort of reward for my missing out, but no...that is the Backflip of olden times.
so, I have all this candy, but little hope of being able to get any of the new dragons. I bred for Chromacorn the ENTIRE TIME IN TWO PARKS this time and LAST TIME it was available. I have NONE. I would settle for a wrath or porcelain, but I don't think I'll get the decos needed. I spent 10k candy in one park and got 1 new wrath deco. (2 new corrupticorn, but I can't use them as noted above.) Usually I get habitats, but not that psyched about those low-paying spookies. Maybe I should buy effigies? Will they be of any use tomorrow? I doubt it. I played everyday and won't be able to get 1 of these? I understand spending $$ to get everything. But to get nothing without $$ is sad. I thought games were supposed to be fun. Dear BFS, You have added a hoo to the boo! Boo Hoo!

I finally heard back from Backflip regarding the Ghostly Hybrid dragons after the event. The answer helps...if I'm reading this correctly, one can still breed the Ghostly hybrid dragon after the event ends. However it sounds like you have to have the effigies, so I'm not sure what happens in the Co-Op. "The Ghostly Hybrid Dragons (Obsidian, Oni, etc.) can be bred after the event as long as you have the required Effigy. For example, If you have all 3 of the Effigies you will be able to breed any of the Ghostly Hybrid dragons. If you have say the Effigy of the Earth and the Effigy of the Cold in your park you can breed any of the Ghostly dragons that possess the Earth and Cold elements."

This morning I bought that Day Chest and DOUBLE SHOCKER, I got the final Blue Flame I needed. Evolved 1 Chromacorn and have 150 Candy remaining. I can not believe it, not with my recent non-luck in this game. Have the tides turned? Are the TPTB listening? Time will tell.
Question: After evolving your dragons, are you keeping the 10 Flames, Porcelains, and Tendrils or are you selling those off too?

I am keeping them, not that I think they will be useful in future events, but because of the amount of gems and time I spent getting them. They are now a border for my snowflake habitat and look rather nice.

I am keeping them just in case. If I had bred a chromacorn at the last minute I would have needed to sell them since I would not have had the 1000 candies necessary to evolve a corrupticorn. But alas, that didn't happen.
Awwww, the Ghostly dragons now show in the Dragonarium as only the earth, cold and fire dragons, the other Ghostlies have disappeared. If I had spent the gems I wasn't willing to spend to get the last two flames I needed so I could get Corrupticorn, I would have had a smoking Dragonarium now.

You beat me to it. The only one I’m missing is the Ghostly Oni. You can only evolve the three basic ghosties (so you’re out of luck on the pedestals...unless the let us evolve those too). So I’m not sure about the status of continuing to try to breed the other ghosties. AND they just announced another new dragon is on it’s way.
