journeywoman, Tolzar's spice only adds up if you're under the cap. The cap's still an iron ceiling.
That was true in prior events. With this event, as others have pointed out, the Tolzar's visions do not count toward the cap and do not effect your daily intake even if it's under 1000. If you earned 1000 already today and watched 3 visions, your total for the day stays at 1k but you overall total goes up another 150. If you watched them while at 0, at the start of the day, you'd get 150 spice in your total but your daily stays at 0.
I'm very happy about it on my main account, where I max out fairly easily by collecting Etherium 4 to 5 times a day. On my alt, it's no change as I can't reach cap anymore when I only check the park once a day.

O m g for the limited Aubergine- evolve a level 18 berry dragon w any rift trait. The jelly plant must be in the park and 6 jelly plants must be ready to harvest. It must also be RAINING!

And level 18+, so you still need both relics as well. And Rifted, so that's a loooooot of treats/Etherium to spend levelling it. And Jelly Plants, which are limited, so unlike the others the evolution needs to be done during the event.

Edit: And if you don't have all of that, well, better hope you've not spent any Spice yet and can cap daily, because even then 2 of the next 4 days need to be doubles for it to be buyable outright in the market.

Yikes! That's getting very specific for the evolution requirements. Level 18 in the rift takes a lot of treats. I'm beginning to wonder if this is a way to get people to go through their dragoncash and dragontreat stashes...
I suppose that explains why the Weather Station (12,500 spice), Monument of the Epics (14,750 spice), and Relic of the Epics (14,750 spice) are now all in the Limited Tier of the Copious Cornucopia. It would cost over $200 if a player were to buy 42,000 spice in the market!

Hate to be negative Nelly, but I am pretty over this whole event. A wee small part of me is hoping that by some miracle BFS is going to make this not quite so overwhelming at some point, but I am not sure the other parts of me want to wait til something freezes over, lol.
The way the last few events have gone, I am afraid of what kind of abomination they can make out of BeB.
Very seriously thinking of quitting. I am going to just play relaxed for a while to see if I actually can....lol

Wow, I hadn't even thought of that last part. Although I guess technically you can let ready-to-harvest Jelly Plants sit around in 6 of your treat farms until you're ready to evolve. Just make sure you don't hit that Harvest All button...

Ten years ago I retired. 6 years ago I found DV. It was relaxing and fun. Now, I’m working full time again, on DV, just trying to get my daily limit. Even after finding Gardenia for 50, I only have 494...They have gone over the top with this one. I don’t care anymore. Just gonna plod along and get what I can and not worry about anything. Zekky is right. This forum is way more fun than the game.

It makes me sad to see how desperate BFS seems to try to get in app purchases now. When I first started playing, Dragonvale was in the top 40 paid apps. It was because people wanted to support the game and enjoyed it NOT because you felt you had to pay to play. They must really be trying to cut the number of players on servers down. In their attempts to probably get rid of people with multiple parks, they may get rid of too many others in the process to keep the game sustainable.

I honestly thought that the part about "it has to be raining" was a joke until I saw the Weather Station in the limited prize tier. Along with all of the other requirements, the Jelly Plant Log is almost 3000 spice and you will probably need another 1000 spice to evolve the Berry dragon. I find this a very cruel beginning to what I thought was going to be a more reasonable event. Can't wait to see what the next limited dragon's requirements will be. Hope you all have a first born child.

Chromacornapocalypse maybe. Well that might not be too bad. Ha
This event doesn’t bother me as much as the last one. Clear endpoints, no loot box gambling. It’s kinda geared towards the long term high end player. Your screwed if your a young-in though.

They will need a level 20 rift bogberry, with the twilight tower set to summer, the weather station set to storm, the fiery fig planter and all 14 farms with figs ready. Gotta buy the new farm to get to 14 duh. Oh and you’ll need the other five evolved dragons in a hidden habitat for everything to work of course.

Ugh - okay, so the video spice goes towards your overall total but not your daily total. Which I suppose is arguably good since it's over and above the cap, but I hate watching these things and wasn't planning on doing it in my largest park since it can hit the cap without it. ::grumble::
I click on them and purposefully turn the iPad over or go to the bathroom or get snacks. I hate videos. I hate them so much I rarely hit the second tshain one. I’m bad. But in this case you get an extra 150/300 a day over the daily limit sooo its required. Sigh
