Duplicates are not needed. If you have 2 black flames, you can sell one and just keep one. As long as you have 1 of each 10 colors of flames, you can evolve a chromacorn as often as you like for 100 gems.

For the Magic Tap game, I have a couple recommendations. I tried playing on my daughter's old ipad, a very slow device, and everything dropped at half speed. Maybe you have an old device around that can be used to play that specific game and find similar results. Another option is to see if you have a family member who has faster reflexes. I have to play for my wife in the tap game, she just misses too often. I'll do the same for my dad when he visits in a couple weeks, and my kids certainly can catch 'em all if needed.

Your wife and I have poor reflexes in common it seems. Spent 10 gems on two tries at the berry drop game and missed the chest both times. I guess it’s time to try an older device to see if outdated technology can assist where physical ability fails. 😂

I've got a question concerning the visitor icon
BFS says in the event tips I can see from the icon if I have found all gifts, Santa and the flag carrying visitors (snowy frame)
My visitor icon now has snow on the frame, but the visitors shown in the pic don't have a flag anymore.
So I would conclude that there are no more flag carriers in my park. But is there still a gift/Sandakloz to look for?

Also I'm puzzled about the prize tiers

snowy : remaining unique prizes 15
ornamental : remaining unique prizes 7
frosty : remaining unique prizes 17

are all my prize tiers unlocked ?

I don't think that an older device can be of any help. The game then won't go fluently. So it might hesitate a moment and then it makes a jump. So if the hesitating moment is not exactly the moment when the chest shows up, ig might just jump close to the bottom before showing.

Hello Crumble, the outer frame with snow indicates that there are parcels/presents and a Santa to pickup. The flag on the visitors icon means there are flags/banners holder to find.
The flag disappears when you found them all, the snow disappears when you fund all the presents and Santa. For me, snow came back after maybe 12 hours but there was only one present to find and then the snow disappeared.
Seems price categories are not locked anymore, so ... you can purchase whatever you do not have yet and spend a fortune. Better cash return for BFS to let players buy stuff anywhere rather have them wait to unlock ....

I hope this helps you and others; I still occasionally miss a chest,but not often
I’ve also found that if I buy a number one after the other, I get lots of dupes
If I leave a few hours between buying, less dupes
And no dupes for the first game on new day....

Helped a bit, thanks Kiwichris ! Yesterday I had less than 40 decos. Played 4 times and missed the Chest the first time but nabbed the other 3. Out of the 9 decos, 7 were duplicates of what I already had and 2 I needed. SEVEN OUT OF NINE WERE DUPLICATES! Great odds you’re giving us, BFS! Can you make the tap circle surrounding the Chests any smaller? And by all means, speed them up.

Older devices do help, at least with the iOS line. While most of the game is nearly unplayable with how slow it is to scroll through the park and tap things, the magic tap game runs smoothly but slowly. It's not quite, but almost like you have time to watch the chest fall, decide to take a sip of your drink first, and then still have time to carefully click it before it reaches the bottom.

Another workaround for the event arena; if a friend has a high level rainbow up, just use that; been giving me max berries daily 😊

Bless you viviane , this works like a charm! SO much easier to get the dragons needed for the bingo cards!

Has anyone bred a second for a pedestal or a twin in the Co-Op yet?
Just want to make sure it’s possible and not locked out.

I know. As in the first event of this sort, I suspect I'll end up with unsolvable dragon backlogs. But something like 2000/day should clinch things if you don't gamble. (Still haven't done the hard math, too unenthusiastic).

I paired that nibehip eith Chemnerds niphip nad we got a twin! And that on first try! So yes, it possible but, the same time of 12 hours also applies to 4 or 5 other dragons ....
Fact I didn't know when I innocently tried lol. Now I still need one more for the egg ....
Ah, and that very dragon is the first ne everyone is supposed to get first as in the description it says : chapter one of the saga....

I'm torn...I'm reaching the point where getting a new decoration from the mini-game is becoming pretty rare. I still need 30 decorations, but I'm beginning to wonder if it would be better to slowly start buying the Toy Chests. There are still 30+ days in this event, which seems like there should be enough time to earn enough berries to buy Toy Chests (plus we get three of them from the Giftery) and evolve the dragons, but I keep wondering if there is going to be some expensive limited time dragons that we'll need the berries for (after all, there hasn't been anything for the Kringle and Krampus dragon yet and it seems like they should somehow come into play for this event). So, at what point are folks switching from the mini-games to the Toy Chests? Or are folks going to wait until the end of the event to buy Toy Chests?

Here is my decoration collection at this point:
10 Tuplets (Last to Collect was Blue) (Teal and Black are the most common)
10 Poinsettia (Last to Collect was Red) (Green, Purple and Black are the most common - I've gotten at least 6 of each)
9 Cocoa (Missing Black) (Green and Pink are the most common)
8 Stockings (Missing Purple and White) (Orange and Red are the most common - I've gotten 6 of each!)
6 Flutter Fruit (Missing Red, Orange, Green, and Black) (White is the most common - I've gotten 7 of those!)
7 Presents (Missing Orange and Pink) (pretty even distribution of the other colors)
6 Nutcrackers (Missing Orange, Yellow, Teal, and White) (pretty even distribution of the other colors)
7 Feathers (Missing Yellow, White, and Black) (Red and Purple are the most common)
2 Gumdrop (only have Yellow and Blue)
