Hey wise heads out there; as we kept getting ‘gifts’ of Rift trinkets and regifts, but they can’t yet be evolved into anything, should we keep them? What are the odds of them being nominated as base evolution dragons in the next event? Otherwise I just don’t get it, why they were added to the plethora of base evolution stock... I get the theme connection, but.... 🤪
I personally am releasing them for 100 E3M each, and while it isn’t a lot, I received well over 200 of them, so that will help me in getting the final rifty version dragons that I’m missing (down to just 5), or to finish getting all the rift habitats (I know, I know, probably one of the very few players that still hasn’t joined the 55 Regal Club). Otherwise, I don’t see much use for them.
On reddit there is a DV that thread where there is a screenshot of a message from Mike from back flip says the evolve for gems is a glitch and will be fixed to iceberries for the duration of the mirthful market soon.
Also, they changed the cost of evolutions back to Berries instead of Gems today. Of course I spent my leftover berries on pedestals yesterday, so don't have any for the twin evolutions.
It’s been confirmed drbobdob , we can still evolve gift/coal for iceberries for a day or two again! Sorry Quil that you spent extra iceberries, maybe now is the time to decide to sell any duplicate decorations or the ones required to evolve the dragons you already have. Either way, koala to both of you, and everyone else, in getting any remaining event dragons you may need!

Then life gets in the way and all I get is Dragon cash.

But are we able to still try for the ghosting, or am I wasting my time?

I think all ghostlies were still showing as breedable a short while ago.
I suspect they'll be joining Starwing and Glowwing in the technically-limited-but-always-available pile. It'd be much more convenient if this was made official and they were just changed to permanent. 🤷♂️
Sandscale on the other hand I have no idea about. It expired after its event but came back for... Thanksgiving I think? Then it sort of forgot to leave.
