And they fixed the filtering in the social event, it's no longer off the screen.

The 5 second timer on name the dragon and egg only show if you're getting a chest. Otherwise there is no timer.

I finally got down to the final 20 or so missing decorations. I've been buying chests until I had only three left (hoping to get them free later on with the calendar items). I noticed a pattern when buying toy chests, they do not give you the one rare color of the missing type until you've gotten all the other colors. But it certainly confirms the list:

Rares: Purple Stocking, Red Poinsettia, Black Cocoa Mugs, Blue Tuplets, Green Flutter Fruit, Teal Arc Lamp, Pink Present, Yellow Feather, Orange Nutcracker and White Gumdrop

Now on Magic Tap, once I tap the chest, the game stops so I can’t collect more berries. Anyone else experience this?

I just paid gems to play and twice I chose the correct dragon but only got the berries, not the chest. Is it because I was too slow? There's no indication that there's a time limit but someone mentioned five seconds

Looks like that game is broken. I also lost a bunch of gems on it. But name that egg works.

While I’ve been a bit silent this event, I’ve been working on getting as many decorations as I can to evolve these dragons. I have yet to get a complete set for any 😔 but have 64/100 decorations so far. Here’s the breakdown:
Stockings - just missing purple
Poinsettias - just missing red
Presents - missing red, teal, purple, and pink
Feathers - missing red, yellow, green, purple, and pink
Arc lamps - I only have black, red, and pink
Cocoa mugs - missing black and teal
Tuplets - missing blue and white
Flutter fruits - missing black and green
Gumdrops - I only have red, orange, and white
Nutcrackers - missing red, orange, yellow, teal, and pink
I’m really glad the newest update added a couple extra mini games (I’m loving the name that dragon) and that it fixed the pedestal glitch and the Arena filtering issue.
Koala collecting and evolving! Also important to note what I believe Cyn brought up - this is a marathon, not a sprint. We have a lot of time left.

So, with dozens of presents of Twin Rift coals and gifts, and for me the occasional TRtrinket and TRregift for some obscure reason, is this the completionist rule of thumb?
One TRcoal dragon, one TRcoal egg, 5 TR coals to evolve, 5 TRcoals for eggs, sell the rest
One TRgift dragon, one TRgift egg, 5 TRgifts to evolve, 5 TRgifts for eggs, sell the rest....?

We now get berries if we sell the dragons we get as gifts. I could kick myself bc I got rid of about 15.

I have not tried name the dragon, but if it's similar to name the egg then you have 5 seconds to name it to get the chest. There was a counter at the top counting down from 5 seconds and I panicked and clicked at 1 to get the reward and ended up with 3 chests and the 40 berries. I didn't even notice the counter until it got close to 2 seconds. If there is no chest, the counter isn't there at all.

Oh, wow .. good to know! Thank you! Luckily I was holding on to them. Finally realized that some of them are Rifts which is great b/c I only had 1 Coal and 1 Gift in the Rift.

I think they’ll evolve the same way as Vale versions, so you get rift versions of the new dragons; may also evolve as Rift twins...dunno, not done any evolving yet, just gathering the mechanisms first, can elvolve in a mad scramble at the end...

If any brave explorer has tested this theory, please chime in 😊

Yes. BUT you only have 5 seconds to guess to get the chests

Have only played name the egg successfully, 3 chests every time, not sure if berries too and if berries for a wrong choice (not numerically oriented so just never keep track of that stuff, and didn’t have a fail pick)
someone (more) reported earlier this thread that the name dragon game was glitching, and I had 3 fails when it first was added, so Im staying away from that atm

Place the TR gifts in a habitat and evolve them, but they will be dragons. They will cost 1000 berries to evolve.

Hmmm. You can only get eggs of the new ones when you breed like x like. I already evolved the normal rift dragons.

If you breed a rift burglehoo x twin rift burglehoo you can get a rift burglehoo that you can turn into an egg. Can’t figure out a way to get a twin rift burglehoo egg unless it’s already a mystery egg.

Is it the best plan to evolve rift dragons as they can always be moved to the park, and if I evolve non rift dragons they can't be moved to the rift?

I've managed to evolve both the Nibwhip and the Gulletail, but used non rift dragons. I have a Social Menu stuffed full of rifty gifts, coals and trinkets and perhaps should use those instead?

On a different note: I purchased an epic surprise egg in the rift yesterday and it gave me a Corrupticorn. I was thrilled with this, as I only have one Chromacorn, so didn't even consider trying to evolve it in the previous event, even if I'd had all the necessary thingies.

I'm right there with you!  I keep waiting for the "other shoe" to drop with regards to the Kringle and Krampus, and now the Regift and Trinket dragons.  I'm wondering if the other four limited dragons are going to require a Krampus and/or Kringle dragon to be in the same habitat (kind of like they did for the Karroot and Vidalia dragons in the last event).

I would say so. You can use rift dragons to breed non-rifted variants, but not the other way around. So I always evolve riftboys and then clone them in co-op.
