there's still like 20 days in the event. they are 100% going to spring something on us, probably for new year's eve and probably combined with a triple day
Plus, two new quests so far...so ?2 new dragons at least...
Quests?? What new quests?? What have I missed now?
Quick reminder that if you can’t locate a Decoration to evolve a dragon use your... Dragonarium > Decorations > either All or Celebration > scroll for missing colour name > TA, DA!
Um... maybe I’m being paranoid, BUT.... those gift eggs from friends contain one of FOUR possible dragons. Coal and Gift (which are currently required to evolve into the new ornimentals). They also contain Regift and Trinket. So does that mean they’re going to pull out two more limited dragons (and require two more sets of decorations to collect) near the end of the event?
I just thought I’d throw that out there... I was balancing my iceberries against what I still need and that idea just sort of popped into my mind. They do have a tendancy to hit us with that kind of thing.
Please, somebody tell me I’m just being paranoid.

😈😈😈 just as paranoid as several others who have noticed the same over the past daze 😈😈😈😈 am not deleting them, yet, juuuuust in case 😱
Interesting...I play mostly on a iPad 4 and was wondering how some of you missed berries and toy chests while playing the berry drop game. Well while playing last night, during the triple berry day, I noticed that my 30 second window seemed like a lot more than 30 seconds.....so I timed it. It took 1:20. So with the iPad 4, the berries, ornaments and toy chests fall a lot slower than on some newer iPad/IPhone models.
Got all the deco's and dragons evolved, replenishing berries and gems now.

So, I have thought about it and found I actually like decoration/evolution way of gaining new dragons. With a few tweaks, making sure there’s at least one way to guarantee a new deco and FAR fewer new dragons and/or decorations to get, I find this great!! As long as they don’t have this type of event all the time, I’ll be okay with deco evolutions coming back. I also don’t mind the bingo cards when they’re this easy. It’s a much less grindy way to get berries.
I have all the dragons, and all the event items I want, so now I’ll just see if I can get enough berries to evolve twin rifts, for rift eggs.
The only thing I truly dislike is that Bring ‘Em Back is so short. If you’re only going to give people 14 days, then you need to limit the breeding outcomes. I would have been happy with just the wintery dragons being available but practically all of them makes this much harder proportionate to your number of dragons. Especially overlapped with the bingo cards.
I have had ZERO luck with BEB. Trying for different one with each breeding option - cave, island, coop - gone thru thousands of etherium,...zip! Anyone having any luck?

Mahel, yes I’m having the same problem. It started for me a few weeks ago, came good a couple of days ago, and now isn’t working again. I’m lost without it as well.

I’ve had the same pattern of glitches and now nada in parent finder for 2 days. The actual sandbox (enter breeding pairs) is still working for me, quests also. Drow may be on holiday, no reply to my posts in Tips thread yet. Am using The Next Flow Dragonvale breeding app. Checked out old sandbox; been retired for some time. Checked out DV Wiki sandbox bits, not comprehensive. Searched web for other alternatives, nothing really works well or comprehensively. IMO The Next Flow app is the best fallback atm.

So after accumulating a massive store of duplicates of duplicates, I have finally managed to evolve a dragon - Libretto. I was watching it and admiring my dragon and my perseverance when it breathed it’s dragon breath ... and all my joy dissipated. Why, oh why, are the musical notes upside down? Is it some sort of Lord of Misrule thing? I wouldn’t have minded if they were doing backflips, but upside down just grates. It’s how I imagine jazz notes, and I do not like jazz.
I'm not a musician but as far as I know, musical notes that are higher than h are painted this way. so, the Libretto is singing really high. maybe it's a Soprano
I’m not a musician either, but the musical alphabet stops at G and starts over. Also I doubt it would be a high note, as the notes in its breath are towards the bottom (from what I’ve seen) which signifies a low note. (Credit to my amazingly awesome music teacher)

OK, so I've finally been coaxed out of lurker mode and am going submit my first post!
I am a musician (a jazz musician at that!), so I can speak to this. The notes that you refer to as upside-down are higher notes, though not necessarily really high. Generally speaking, notes that are above the middle line of the staff (the five lines you usually see music written on) are upside-down, whereas notes below that are upright. The note on the middle line of the treble clef staff (the most common staff) is a B above middle C. It is a different note on different staves. On the bass clef staff, which is the second most common, it is a D below middle C. So again, it doesn't really speak to the absolute highness of the note, but it's more of an aesthetic thing to fit the music efficiently on the page.
All that being said, since the notes in Libretto's breath are not on a staff, it is unusual to have them upside-down, but perfectly acceptable. So in this case, it basically tells you nothing at all!
While I'm at it, thanks to all of you here for your DV tips and musings. They have been invaluable for getting through the now endless stream of events!
And what's the deal with the koalas? 😉

Yay hi lurker greggerman! Confessing to being a rabid jazz fan, tending more to Dixieland (my father’s early indoctrination w Satchmo, Fitzgerald et al) although also have Al Di Miola (from memory, too lazy to retrieve LP, sorry) and love anything from New Orleans (kudos to the wonderful Jon Batiste and family) through to NZ’s Roger Fox of yore...
Welcome welcome! 🐨🐨🐨 is what happens when you type in g o o d l u c k in joined up text; from the early days of this forum; I think I recall reading that it was initially some glitch or typo, that became forum autocorrect ‘canon’ for wishing someone heaps of luck, then played with by Oz and Enzed forumers in particular with ‘drop bears’ references etc etc, which brought in Terry Pratchett, and on it goes 🤣

Try Claude Bölling - google him at least! (Don't miss "Sentimentale" anyway).

Good to know there are still some jazz fans out there! My favorite era was the 50s and early 60s (Miles, Coltrane, Wayne Shorter, Chick Corea, et al), but I love jazz from all eras.
What a wonderful, welcoming group you all are! Koala to you all! 🐨🐨🐨
