Hmmmm, so far this is not going well. I shall re-read the instructions!
Once more, with feeling, Koala! (With a space)
Arrghhh! I think someone's put a blocking spell on me.
Or this just an iPad -iPhone thing?
If you type "g o o d l u c k" without the spaces between the letters ( except for the d & l) , in this forum you will always get "koala". (On any device).

The last of these words - Koala - was considered very funny in this context and it became a running gag. One of the admins manipulated the forum so that every time when you type in good_luck it is replaced by the word Koala Many members don't even type good_luck anymore instead of they directly type Koala.
Things like these are noted in the living lexikon which you can find here living_lexikon
so, I wish you all a lot of Koala

I’m not a musician either, but the musical alphabet stops at G and starts over. Also I doubt it would be a high note, as the notes in its breath are towards the bottom (from what I’ve seen) which signifies a low note. (Credit to my amazingly awesome music teacher)
OK, so I've finally been coaxed out of lurker mode and am going submit my first post!
I am a musician (a jazz musician at that!), so I can speak to this. The notes that you refer to as upside-down are higher notes, though not necessarily really high. Generally speaking, notes that are above the middle line of the staff (the five lines you usually see music written on) are upside-down, whereas notes below that are upright. The note on the middle line of the treble clef staff (the most common staff) is a B above middle C. It is a different note on different staves. On the bass clef staff, which is the second most common, it is a D below middle C. So again, it doesn't really speak to the absolute highness of the note, but it's more of an aesthetic thing to fit the music efficiently on the page.
All that being said, since the notes in Libretto's breath are not on a staff, it is unusual to have them upside-down, but perfectly acceptable. So in this case, it basically tells you nothing at all!
While I'm at it, thanks to all of you here for your DV tips and musings. They have been invaluable for getting through the now endless stream of events!
And what's the deal with the koalas?
Thank you everyone who replied, and you are all totally right about the “upside down” notes being higher notes - but on going back to review what irked me, I realise now it is because when Libretto is facing to the right, the notes are back to front; i.e. the staff is on the right side of the blobby bit, instead of the left. Fine when it’s facing left though. Of course, I realise this is a common coding quirk; it just irks me in this case.
The problem isn,t to get the coal/ or gift Dragons . It is the insane amount of gems you have to spend before you are able to collect 10 pieces of socks, tupplets, gumdrops etc. Sofar i think i had at least 50 doubles but only one complete set.?! I am starting to consider to stop playing this game. I wonder how the younger players feel without having a lot of cash to splash on this.
Oh no! The Ghosts of Winter are upon us! 7 more Ghostly dragons and the Effigy of the Leaf. Definitely not what I was hoping for. 🤨
We now have Ghostly Plant, Lichen, Tree, Flower, Poison, Moss and Evergreen Ghostlies. I fear that Ghostly Gift, Coal, Regift and Trinket are not far behind...

I'm torn...the ghostlies were not my favorite part of the Halloween event and I don't really like them anymore in this event. They still strike me as being "lazy" additions to the game. On the other hand, at least it's not another set of decorations to collect to evolve the Regift and Trinket. (Although, the addition of the Ghostly Plants doesn't preclude evolutions for the Regift and Trinket later in this event...)
All of the Ghostly plant dragons they introduced today only require two elements...several of the Halloween ones required three elements. So, I'm thinking that means there will be another roll out of Ghostly plant-family dragons that require three elements (like Gift, Regift, and Trinket).
Also, I'm still waiting to see how Kringle and Krampus fit into this event...

“Lazy” says it all. Since BFS axed the best of its creative team, this is the future of dragon creation. What is next? Mummy versions of each dragon in which every dragon is rereleased wrapped in gauze? Or maybe Zombie versions that you can’t get rid of which end the game because you can’t sell them off or store them? So disappointed!
My hibernation cave is almost full, and I'm not interested in reconfiguring my entire dragon park to free space for other habitats. I'm so unenthused about more Ghostlies.

I have the effigies from the previous event and several ghosties. I'm not a fan and would rather the devs spend their time "evolving" an in-game friending method rather than releasing yet another rather unattractive set of dragons. I will probably buy the new effigy but don't feel motivated to breed them.

Now look, we’ve spoken about this before Cyn, you can think such thoughts quietly to yourself while running a loud tap and sitting in a cupboard wrapped in an eiderdown, with a tinfoil hat on, but you are under no circumstances to indiscriminately ‘let rip’ as t’were, in public where such stray thoughts expressed may sleet through the web waves and lodge in the tiny wee peas serving the function of little grey cells for the new overlords who shall not be named.....😈
I'm so glad that I decided to totally ignore this whole ghosty part of Dragonvale. Even the two that were sneakily gifted to me by some old geezer who had managed to hop over the fence into my park, were immediately dropped down into the dungeon.
Now I can look at that second ghosty list and know smugly that I don't have to do a thing about them!
I just noticed that you don’t need the new Ghost dragons for your Dragonarium to breathe fire. I just got the last of the new ornamental dragons...but not the new Ghosties. My Dragonarium is breathing fire.
I just got a Gold Medal in the Colosseum in one of my games and the only reward was dragoncash. No gems. Has this happened to anyone else, or was that a glitch? Also my community reward in the 2 games I’ve checked were decorations I already had. I am not feeling the goodluck at the moment.
And I didn’t even get any koalas for writing koala! 😢

That's amazing news! I was quietly resigned to never seeing my dragonarium breathe fire again, but as soon as I spot a Honuhonu in the coop, which will give me a chance for the last normal dragon, I may be pleasantly surprised.
I was on the point of voting NO (sick of scoring 52 party dragons), but then remembered that I'm trying in all three spots for the Honuhonu, so I voted YES.

I, too, only got DC for a Gold Metal in the colosseum today. I sure hope this is a glitch & not a new direction for the Collosseum events. That would not be cool at all, BFS.
