And I updated DV on my IPhone and I haven’t got an option to update the Lost island either 😭

Strange, my two main parks have the upgrade while my two smaller parks don’t. I upgraded as soon as I saw it in case it disappeared like last time.

Also, has anyone who did the App update get a message in the News section about a speed breeding, or hatching, slot? I accidentally cleared the message before reading it and my other games didn’t get the message.

I updated and got the message that the epic breeding sanctuary would be able to be upgraded to have faster breedings.
But I think this is an old message that popped up by error

Darn it.  I had the upgrade in my park right after I upgraded last night, but now it's gone.  I knew I should have bought it when I had the chance!  Oh well, hopefully it'll officially be released at some point.

I don't dare update until I finish out this event & spend my candy, especially since the 3+ month bug on Visions has somehow been worked out & not crashing my game to the point of having to download the app. 

I know it's late in this event, but maybe I can finish the next with finesse with just a couple of questions that I've long been meaning to ask for events.

Donation cards: Right now I'm tasked with donating Obsidian, Light, Meteor, Arid, Rust & Gamma.  How do you guys work out what donation could encompass all of these hybrids?  I thought of breeding Light & one of the hybrids, but is there a better way?

Bizarre Bazaar:  I've long been curious about the buying & selling of pedestals many do to advance levels?  That intrigues me but, it also sounds like many didn't have luck breeding the event dragons so I will probably use candy for some, but is there a strategy to pick decorations and/or pedestals some of you have worked up?

I'm Morbidly Curious...mWahahaha!! (okay, not really sure how to spell the creepy laugh onomatopoeia)

Arid or Gamma also gets you Light.
Everything else needs to be that specific dragon, so no luck combining breeds.

Usually I breed 2 of the same of the required hybrid together in the rift (higher chance of clone, instant breed) rather than waiting the time in the main park (especially for fails).

I chose Gargoyle as my prize. And since I have excess candy, I went ahead and bought the Wrath package. Though I was surprised to see that they want gems in order to evolve my dragon. I thought it would ask for event currency instead.

100 gems is a lot, but I just passed the 2,000 mark and was approaching 2,100, so I was like why not, and went ahead and got a Wrath dragon. 🙂

I missed the Lost Island expansion for the second time. I would be happy without it if they had left the island in the same place, but I don't like the big gap between the two upper islands. Hopefully the option to wish for it will come back as a regular thing, not an "update glitch"

I am torn on the Lost Island upgrade. I really like the tiny islands and how I have mine decorated. They are unique. It totally feels like a win when I find hidden stuff or banner bearers on them. 🤣 I don’t need the space... 🤔

The answer is Harvest Moon not Plumpkin.....Back Flip got you. At the end of Harvest Moon
it says "You might consider decorating your park in shades of orange to make the dragon feel
at home."

I've been wondering all along if they were going to release effigies of lightning and water for a new round of ghostlies today - it would be a cheap way to add 20+ hybrid dragons, and there are a couple of Spooky dragons that use those elements which they could add as well. The timing seemed to be perfect for it.

Now I'm wondering if that was the plan, but they changed course in the wake of the closure. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm almost sorry not to get more ghostlies...

I don't know either if I should wish for the big Lost island. I have all special eggs on both small islands. If I'll get the big lost island a mayor redecorating would be necessary.
I totally believe that the upgrade on the island will be available after the finish of the Halloween event.

I think I agree with you Amos.   I’m not sure I like the island, it’s too big, and looks out of place.   Also, poor Kairos is now hemmed in.

I guess the Lost Island upgrade is to each person but I'm glad I got it. When this
is all done who knows what will and won't be there for DragonVale players.
Have had to do some redecorating but that can be fun if you do it in small steps.🐨🐨

Since it’s looking like no new dragons or return of previous event dragons I did some math today. Looks like the best pedestal to buy and resale is Pharaoh ped. If anyone else finds something better let us know
