I think the Glare weather theme is great (I preferred the original in all honesty but understand why it had to be changed) but if it's causing people issues, please don't make it the default setting for an event in future, not even limiting it to double days. Yes, the weather station can be used to change it and I'm sure there are people appreciating you adding the building to this event for that reason, but it isn't fair to force someone to spend all that hard-earned EC just the play the game on double days, especially if they're a newer player and aren't earning as much EC. It's not their fault that they have issues with the theme. It'd much fairer to force people to buy the weather station if they want to have the glare theme rather than remove it, since it's not like the game will become unplayable for anyone without it, but people are clearly struggling with it. I appreciate that this is only the second time that the theme's been used so we couldn't expect you to have known it would affect people's ability to play this much, but please consider this suggestion in future.
Thank you!
P.S. I love the new and improved Dragon Draw - absolutely awesome!
I do agree-I love the Glare theme but if it causes players to have difficulties playing, then I would either tone the brightness down or avoid it in events altogether.
The Original One is in all things. The Original One is nowhere at all. From all creations, over all creations, does Arceus watch over all.

The reps requested that the Glare theme not be used in future events after its initial release last year. The request was made again during this event.

Thank you very much! 😁 You all do so much for the DV communities behind the scenes.

Deca did lessen the brightness of Glare after it was first released. This did help some players, but not all.
Hopefully, Glare is not used in future events and players can just apply it for their personal use. But if it is in events, then at the very least, the Weather Station will need to be available.

I absolutely love the idea of the Cherrie Petals but unfortunately they cover such little space and aren't visible when zoomed out to see the whole island. Fog was amazing and I expected Cherrie Petals to be the same, but unfortunately they're a little underwhelming due to these issues.
The ideas of these decorations are wonderful and I hope to see more interesting ones for decorators. Can't wait for the next decorators week.
There needs to be a very obvious part of the Co-Op cave tutorial that clarifies that when trying to breed for Galaxy dragons, the dragon you use does not need to be a Galaxy dragon. There are a lot of people I see on the subreddit who think that galaxy dragon + another galaxy dragon is the only way to clone galaxy dragons; I also used to think that until I found out about parent cloning.

That information is already in the game under Breeding Hints. Also, all the DV resources (sandbox, compendium, wiki, apps) have this info. As a result, Deca probably won’t see this as necessary or a priority.
I know the breeding rules for the Galaxy dragons are confusing. They do have a lot of unusual restrictions.

A lot of people have been suggesting that in-game notices are given for major bugs like this so that people know what and what not to do. Their main reason being that the majority of people will check the online forums because of noticing the bug, so may have already done things they're not supposed to do by the time they realise something is up and check online. Also the fact that not everyone will know to check online.
I understand that there wouldn't be a massive amount of point now for this bug, and that DECA might need to be working on actually fixing the bug first and foremost, but since a lot of people have asked for it I'd like to suggest that it's something the consider for future bugs.
And of course, thanks to DECA for always getting on top of these bugs really quickly! 😊
My wishlist of repair of the RBC bug: 1. Egg history restored to pre-bug status; 2. Timer for Runic caves active at the moment the bug occurred will be extended by the amount of time taken by DECA to fix the bug. 3. Caves that expired during the bug will be reactivated with a timer equal to amount of time taken by DECA to fix the bug. 4. The event is extended by time equal to the amount of time taken by DECA to fix the bug. 5. Egg claims remain to be chosen by players at the end of the event at the new time. The extension of time described #4 pertains to event play and not time to purchase from the marketplace. . Thank you for keeping DragonVale fun to play!

4 and 5 will probably be difficult, especially if the fix takes longer than 3 days, unless on the off chance that we're going to have a longer break between this event and the next. I doubt it though since we got an Expansion Extravaganza recently.
1 should definitely be met and I'm sure DECA are working on that right now since that's the main thing that needs to be fixed.
2 and 3 may be difficult because there will have been people still using the RBCs despite being warned not to. It may be the case that if people are desperate to get the time back it's done by a case-by-case basis, when DECA can check the game history to see whether the player had used the RBC after the bug had occurred, but I don't know if DECA would do that since that would be a LOT of support emails all at once. Or it may be the case that 2 and 3 are met, but the people who used the RBCs are just at an advantage.
Gifting people gems to speed up breeds would be an alternative to 2 and 3. It would still have the issue that people who were already using the RBCs get that bonus time that no one else did, but it's probably much easier for DECA to gift people gems than extend RBC times or the event as a whole.

I have requested in-game notifications for years covering a wide range of topics from bugs to DST to changes to the daily reset. Deca has not implemented them, even when there was plenty of time to develop it.
In some cases, it’s understandable. There’s a time issue for bugs. Deca is trying to fix the bug, so that’s their focus. They can’t really postpone their efforts to create a notification. If the bug extends for a while, a notification can be created (like the recent in-game notification for the FB login issue), but sometimes it’s difficult to gauge how long it’ll take to fix a problem.
I’ve always believed in-game notifications are so valuable and a essential way to communicate with players. But for whatever reasons, Deca has not been using them for bug warning or critical game updates. After three years, I’ve stopped requesting notifications. A remodelling of the Poll Plaza, which is vacant and unused, so it lights up SOS signals when there’s a problem would be a better option.

An in-game notification would be wonderful for all those players that are in the dark regarding the bug as they don't visit social media sites. I really like the idea of using the Poll Plaza - red flashing lights and a siren would get everyone's attention. 🚨
Is there a way to make individual dragons their day/night forms (with spellforms/enhancements e.g. rather than the twilight tower setting)? For example I really like the day version of Elegant but like the night version of Sunscorch, so at the moment I don't think there's a way of having both of those in the same park at the same time.
I'm pretty sure there isn't already something like this, so do you think DECA would consider it?

The best thing about it if it were to happen? Lovonone could be reunited with Lovonone. I want that. ☀️🌌💙

There have been suggestions that were passed on the Deca about a habitat or island that will display the night version or day version of the dragons, regardless of the Twilight Tower theme or time of day.

I really like the Lovonone backstory. It’s an interesting idea, and it makes sense. For me, it’s not tragic, since they’re yin and yang. ☯️

I also like Lovonone's story. I think it's bitter-sweet how they're apart but one being. But I'd also like to see the day and night forms together again 💙

Dear DECA,
Why oh why do the filters for Bahumut and Tiamat function differently to every other filter in the game? It makes it very hard to find specific dragons without using the search function.

I've never figured out how this filter works - it doesn't seem to make any sense. I keep a list of dragons I want to level up using Bahamut and Tiamat. 😊

At the start, every non-epic dragon that has at least one of the highlighted elements is shown.
I believe if you deselect all elements and only select only one of the dragon's corresponding elements, it only shows you dragons of that element - like usual. Though I'm pretty sure if you then add another corresponding element, it goes back to showing any non-epic that has at least one of those elements, rather than what usually happens (the dragons shown have every element selected, rather than just one).
I think it would be cool if in every element selection-menu in-game there was an option to either show 'dragons with ALL selected elements' or 'dragons with AT LEAST ONE selected element'. That would both solve the Bahamut/Tiamat problem and mean both ways of searching for dragons were available in every element-selection menu.

As Robin mentioned, those filters use an OR - so if you select plant and fire, it looks for any dragons that have either plant or fire. All the other filters use AND so if you choose plant and fire, it only selects those that have both. I think it does that because Bahamut and Tiamat work on OR - you can use them on any non-epic with any of their elements - but it’s not useful for finding specific dragons and is inconsistent with the other filters. I’d like to suggest the filter be switched to an AND in line with the other buildings, but also offer up the following (more complicated) suggestions: - being able to switch between an AND and an OR filter (see: Robin above) - being able to put a negative filter eg show me all plant and fire with no cold, or all non-epic dragons - while I’m wishing, being able to filter on hidden elements 😉 I’m most keen for option number 2, but I think all of these could be useful. Unfortunately they’re probably not important enough for Deca to implement but I’d like to put them out there anyway!

I like the idea of a negative filter. An EXACTLY filter would also be cool - it's kind of like the negative filter but it automatically selects all other elements in the 'DON'T INCLUDE' category.
E.g. if you've selected plant + fire: AND: every dragon that has both the plant and fire elements (so that would include Poison and Sakura) OR: every dragon that has at least one of the plant or fire elements (so that would include Plant, Poison, Moss) EXACTLY: every dragon that has the plant and fire elements and nothing more (so in the example that would effectively be Flower/Ghostly, Poison/Ghostly, Pepper, Smoulderbrush, Motley) 'EXACTLY' could be a sub-filter - so if you've selected 'OR' and then 'EXACTLY' it will show you dragons that have at least one of the plant or fire elements but nothing more. So while Moss could be in just 'OR' it wouldn't be in 'OR, EXACTLY' because of its earth element.
As for hidden elements, I doubt those will become a filter (even though I want it) because the point of hidden elements is that they're hidden. Plus there are features that DECA hasn't added to the game (such as breeding odds) due to them being available online, so since hidden elements are easily available online I doubt they would reveal them in-game.
