BFS used to do “Collection Comebacks”. These were really nice because you could try for and focus on dragons from one section at a time. I really miss those. It is the only way to breed rift versions of event dragons that are not limited other than waiting for a BEB to try for them.

Dear DECA,

Because so many DragonVale players play on devices with insufficient RAM, could we have a way to turn off animation on individual island themes and decorations? We already have a way to turn off the crowns on individual dragons. I worked hard to get the island themes and decorations, so I don’t want to have to store them all. I want to be able to use and enjoy them in my park, even if it is without animation. Yes, I enjoy the animation, but I would rather lose the animations than have to put away all the decorations. If the game becomes a chore rather than an enjoyable diversion because of crashes, I will again be forced to quit playing, buying a new device is not an option when it still works perfectly for everything else I want to do.

I’ve only seen players request the return of event/collection dragons on the forum, but there may be a larger population of players who would object. To end the debate and ease the doubt, I suggested Deca ask the players through the Poll Plaza. So, IF Deca agrees to re-releasing a group of dragons, they may poll the community first to be sure we want this.

Even though Backflip brought back event dragons/collections, this is a new concept for Deca, so they’ll likely look into the pros and cons and also consider different options, like the ability of purchasing twin and traited dragons, to help players complete their Dragonarium.

Thank you for this information. I can understand both sides. I’m leaning towards the “yes please bring collections back” side of it.
Especially because Deca is making a habit of having part of the event collection rift breedable and another part not (during the event).
In the rift I try to get the epic collection complete as a priority. This event leaves me with only 2 out of 5 of the new “house epics”. Very frustrating for a completionist.
If deca is having doubts about this, a poll would be a good idea!


Event breeding caves (the runestone ones) with regular/twin/twin rift would also help. As there’s always the possibility of cloning the desired dragon from the regular version acquired during a previous event and then getting both the twin and the twin rift out of the banked eggs + trying to clone in rift for the regular rift version.
However as a shout-out to deca: it would be great if once someone owns regular/twin/twin rift one could then be given a choice of which version to get. (E.g. get another regular twin version that could then be turned into a pedestal. In stead of being stuck on only twin rift options.) Or why not: have a special cave version with lower cost just to get the pedestals.


Oh and please please please... this idea about new islands seems great, but please please please don’t leave me hanging with just the 28th regular shaped island on the left side of the bottom row of islands. It needs a few more to balance my symmetry needs.

Also a theme for the gargantuan island would be nice. Even if it is just the same skin as the one on the overgrown island.

And because I seem to be on a “dear deca roll”: please add more filter options to the storage tower. Getting out 24 spooky fences is giving me “dragonvale tennis finger, wrist and elbow”.

Also I agree with a previous post about decorating mode. (Or some kind of “swap everything” function from one island to another. Again.. “dragonvale finger, wrist and elbow syndrome” are terrible when trying to move all those nutcracker, poinsetta, cocoa mugs, et cetera.)



And by the way: you’re doing a great job on keeping dragonvale running and designing new dragons.

I agree with everything on your post — you’ve read my mind. I’ve resisted posting a list of upgrades I’d like to see, because I prefer to just relay the suggestions from the forum. You really nailed it!

Runic Breeding Caves: I miss this event feature so much and have concerns it will be lost to Eggy Hatchy. I always made an in-app purchase for more Runestones, and I know a lot of members did as well — it was the guaranteed way to get long-time players to spend — so I’m hoping the Runic Caves were profitable and it’ll return. If we can’t have Eggy and Runic together because it’ll earn us too much event currency, or it’s too cluttering, hopefully Deca will regularly switch between the two.

I know others as yourself have suggested the ability to chose a regular, twin, or twin-traited egg after obtaining the twin-traited version of a dragon. It’s a terrific idea. The pedestal breeding island is a new and exciting concept — love this!

Storage Tower: the Tower is so frustrating. It’s the most counter-intuitive thing in the game. After placing an item, the Storage Tower should retain your selection so you can place 20 palm trees in a row, not be forced to scroll through the stored items 20 times. At the very least it should have a search function to type in the name of the item and prevent lengthy scrolling.

Selection Tool: it would be perfect to be able to select a portion of items on an island and move it as a group to another island, or store it as a group. Lots of mobile games have this function. It would be heavenly to *finally* have it in DV, especially since decorating is such an important feature in the game.

Isn’t it about time that our LEVELs were increased again so we could get more islands/habitats? I’m having to buy habitats onto islands which doesn’t leave any space for decorations. I’m also having to leave new Dragon in the Hibernation Cave...no place to put them.

I have had to forfeit most of my money making islands to continue decorating how I like. I am okay with it but a few islands are definitely needed.

Please make the party hats larger or easier to see. I understand that the point is to have players search for them. However, those of us with not-so-great vision have a very difficult time seeing them, especially when an island is crowded with dragons and sparkling decorations.

New island concept is coming (!), but I do not believe new park levels are on the menu. Park levels are typically introduced during an Expansion Extravaganza. Deca is planning on an Extravaganza, but we don’t know the dates (it likely won’t occur before the Hallowe’en event).

Dear Deca,
It would be a great help if the Prismatic Pantheon would get a button to mark all elements at once.
I like the colors in my park. So when searching for flag visitors or event things I turn off the colors and turn them on immdiately afterwards. Now I have to click on none, visitors and on all the elements. To be able to mark the elements with one click would be helpful.

Could a mechanism (setting/filter) be created that allows us to specify the types of advertisements we see based on content?  This could be similar to TV/Movie ratings (G, PG, R, etc).  Recently have seen some advertisements that I would prefer not to see again.

simbamisty , if you go to your settings, and find reset ad identifier, (I think it’s under privacy), that might do the trick.
Having said that; if you are shown offensive and age-inappropriate ads, given children play this game, note name of advertiser and report that to DECA directly
I’ve done this for the flutter game I play, got soft porn ads from bigo or something like that name
They’ve mostly gone

iOS 14 eliminated the ability for users to reset the advertising identifier. You can go to Privacy > Apple Advertising > and toggle Personalized Ads. But that’s it.

I’ll update the post in the ED that provides instructions on resetting the ad identifier, and check to see if Android has made any changes to their ad identifier.

Your advise about reporting inappropriate ads to Deca is spot on! They do recommend players notify them of offensive ads so they can remove them.

I really would like the ability to search in the dragonarium for types of dragons or pedestals. Regular, twin, rifled and twin rifted.

And

On the info cards, please add the pedestals count. Like the dragon count in the upper right corner, in another corner add the pedestal count.

Well, it’s been 3 months since my previous post requesting more Island/Habitats and nothing...  all the new Dragons since then, it’s only getting worse...🤷🏼‍♂️

Dear DECA - I'm trying to breed 2 of every dragon, but currently I can only buy 4 x Crystalline Habitats, which means I can only house 16 dragons. Please could you increase the limit from 4, allow an upgrade or even have a Reward Habitat, so I could house all 24 (assuming I do get 2 each of the 12 dragons).

Thank you for the new dragons and all the assistance you give our DragonVale Community.

I am having issues getting DragonVale to load. I do not have the Twilight Tower, so that is not the problem. I have a handful of animated decorations that I worked for and hate to put in storage. I can’t move them to storage anyway, as I can not enter DragonVale.

Any assistance would be appreciated. I really need to get into my Parks to take advantage of the island sale.

I have enjoyed the last week of event and stress free play.

The new island certainly helped, but I would also like a limited "bring-em-back" for decorations so I can best build the decor on the islands I have been able to renovate.

We desperately need an upgrade to the rift hibernation cave. With 600+ rift dragons when you collect regular and twin rift that is over 1200 dragons to house. We need a minimum of 1000 hibernation slots to hold regular and twin rift versions + our 275 spots if at max habitats. I have been out of room for awhile and have to constantly send rift dragons over to the regular vale.
