Probably a silly question but I'm going to ask it anyway. Can you just buy Glyph and Michi without collecting decorations? I so hate the whole collection process.
this question is not silly it's clever ! It seems to me like you can buy them right away without collecting the items.
In a former event you could not buy the dragon with event currency without having all those decorations. But in this event the dragon is not greyed out until you have the decos. So I think you can buy it without.
You'll have to clone for a second in the coop though. And be aware that you won't get a rift version this way. Oh you can get a rift version this way too, but it is a bit complicated: a) if you are happy and get a twin via coop-breeding and you breed your bought normal dragon with the twin dragon in the runic cave with success and you claim the egg it will be rifted. b) if you were "unlucky" and only got a second normal dragon via coop-breeding and you breed your both normal dragons in the runic cave and use two of your claims for this dragon then the first claim will be a twin and the second will be rifted.

The error is due to the Lost Island upgrade. I have the Lost Island, but I’ve put off the upgrade until I have more time to redesign, and in my game the island is correctly greyed out.

Speaking of Chrysalis, I have been attempting some of them in the RIft. I realize that the magic eggs earned from some dragons does not seem right. I am attempting for Rhinotorch at the moment with fails of Marbletail and Swallowtail. Looking at the breed times, I should be getting 20 magic eggs when I sell those fails. But instead I am getting 7. The same for Flickerflame; instead of 14 eggs, I got 4.

This was the response DECA sent me when i emailed them & asked what would happen if i tried to buy the lost island w/my eggs in the event... i had not tried to ‘click’ on it (i was afraid to click on it, thought i might lose my eggs for nothing)... i bought the expanded lost island some months ago so i was confused about why it did not show i already owned it ...hence my email (did not know that it had been posted on reddit, etc)... so, if u click on it; it just says sorry, u already have it .. ⬇️⬇️

PRO TIP: do not open the Spring Chest you received from today’s Colorful Benefactory / Sundial of Surprises until the end of the event to ensure you receive a rare, unowned evolve decoration you were unable to collect during the event.
Unless it was recently changed, the Golden Chests are not predetermined. So whenever you open it you’ll receive a decoration you don’t own at that time. By the end of the event, you’ll probably need to purchase Spring / Golden Chests from the event market to obtain decorations you could not win from the mini-games (or didn’t want to spend all your gems trying to win them). Open this chest at that time and save some event currency (1,500 Magic Eggs).

Also, DECA seems to be doing a good job fumigating the ‘bugs’ in DV...The ‘stretchy’ screen seems to have been fixed, along with the Tolzar problems. Now, if you could work on the ‘biggie’, the memory (mis)management/crashing problems...I know this can’t be corrected overnight but there are so many of us who have been playing DV for so long, back when an iPad Air 2 wasn’t considered “an older device”... The answer shouldn’t be “spending a ‘grand’ or 2 on a newer iPad”. I did that once already, just for DV, not gonna do it again.

The bugs are not just for the older devices though. Newest ipad with plenty of memory and space and still crashes, worse on older devices but we have one old ipad that is set to low resolution and it does crash less than the new one. 😳 It is terrible on our older phones, unplayable almost. I wish this would be the number one priority of the company.
Curious if anyone has managed to clone Woodvine or Clairvoyant? If you did, would you be so kind to post the dragon you used? I’ve been trying for Clairvoyant in co-op for about 10 times using ghostly cold. No luck so far.

Speaking of odds, I noticed that on the DV sandbox website it says that breeding tidal with stoneshell gives you 5% odds at getting stoneshell. It says the odds are only 1% for pretty much every other combo. I think I remember something about the percentages being wrong somewhere about something. So, I was wondering, does anyone know if that is correct? I know the average fails are much longer, but at 5% odds, it might possibly be better than the combo I have been unsuccessfully using. Thanks for any helpful info you can give me.

PSA: Tidal is a glitch in the sandbox. If you ever see Tidal in the top pair, or near the top, it’s likely an error.
I usually check the number of offspring to determine the best combo. For Stoneshell, breeding with Tidal will result in 44 offspring, whereas Stoneshell + Stoneshell only has 28 (plus the odds benefit of cloning).
The breeding results for Hidden Bolt shows Tidal in the fourth pair, but it shouldn’t even be on the list with 33 potential outcomes.
The only time Tidal will be the best dragon to use in a breeding combo is if you’re trying to breed Tidal by cloning with Tidal.

The cloning percent change for a Clairvoyant in the social cave with a single Clairvoyant parent is 1%. If you attempted 10 tries, you'd have a 9.6% chance of getting one. That means 90.4% of the people would not, so you're in good company!
It takes roughly 70 attempts to have a 50-50 shot of getting one. Even after 200 tries, 13% of the players won't have one yet.
I think im in the 13%. I'm planning on buying clairavoyant and woodvine.

Breed for stoneshell in the rift. Before the event I had one stoneshell (and was using tidal to try to breed with it as I didn’t know about the bug). I decided I would try in the rift because I didn’t have a rifty version and now I have 8 and a couple of eggs! The combo is quake and the purple monolith (aka monolith 3 I think). Also gives monolith 3 as a fail and Aquacorn.
