I love how the first photobomb seal image is a replica of the phone splash screen, and the second photobomb image is a replica of the tablet splash screen. The tablet splash screen is always cropped and the two different seal photos match the two different splash screens perfectly!

If you breed an ornamental dragon with any other dragon, Ornamental and Dazzling are potential outcomes, even if Ornamental and Dazzling are not parents.
This bug started during the last Xmas event. oomagooma25 first reported it, and the glitch was widely tested throughout the event. During that time, DV was in limbo. Backflip had closed and the game was transitioning to Deca, so the bug was never fixed. Several weeks ago, we asked Deca to correct this, but have not received an update. I’ll let you know when we hear back.
PSA: please be aware both Ornamental and Dazzling are possible fails if you’re trying to clone or breed Yanghis (Starshine + Flicker).
If you wanted to prompt them again, you could suggest they check the difference between Ornamental & Dazzling and a Snowflake dragon, for example, which definitely needs 2 Snowflake parents to breed another.
You can actually parent clone a single snowflake/monolith dragon now. Once the parent cloning switched from a requirement to use an epic dragon to using any dragon the snowflake and monolith also changed. You do need two to get a different one but you can start your collections with just one now or even zero if you have a friend that is sharing one and you manage a parent clone.
Snowman Sorcery is definitely the easiest today, with 3 size 3 boards. Then Stargazing, with the stages only looking for points. Leaving Two-Winged Sledding for last, with it's Stage 5 being the hardest of the day.

I tried one last time for Longcicle before clearing out my co-op to make room for Yanghis cloning attempts. And surprise! There was a Longcicle egg. Now I can fully focus on trying for Yanghis without worrying about missing the opportunity to clone Longcicle.

My first co-op breed with Yanghis and Elder Air has given a 2 day 7 hour timer. Hmmm, I wonder what that could be. Sandbox tells me the only two dragons with that time are Dazzling and Twinkle. Dazzling which requires two Ornamental dragons to breed and Twinkle which is Winter and Air.
The curse of the Ornamental dragons is ongoing. 😱

The increase for the chance to clone these limited dragons has helped. I was able to pull 2 Yanghis myself and received my 2 twins shortly after buying my first. I bought right away and started to breed for twins/pedestals. The rift versions are proving rather difficult for me though. I did not get a Snowball rift even though I tried all week with every single rift breed. I may change things up and breed for my rift pedestals because it is just so annoying to spend all week spending 500,000 E in attempts and nothing to show for it.

Tree Decorating is a slightly better choice, as it has slightly lower point requirements to unlock the upper stages. Candle Lighting would be next. And finally Hearth Warming, which has 3 stages with a dragon goal.
adlerist DECA gifts me an unearned vision fault chest every day. It's in the same bar as the eggs. I don't know why this is happening.
I'm going to stop collecting them and see if it's worth a screenshot in some days.

It’s not quite as bad as the lottery, but I certainly understand what you’re saying, MinyaZ. If Party is released, as many players have requested, that will cost us gems to speed up breeding, because Party is a frequent fail with a high percentage.
Due to all the recent complaints about breeding odds, Deca has addressed the problem by more than doubling the social cloning percentage from ~1.5% to 4% (parent breeding has remained the same at 2%). A 4% cloning percentage for a new, epic dragon is very high. Backflip was not this generous in their latter years. This will ensure players have a better chance of obtaining new dragons.
Based on player feedback, the goal for Deca was to help players so they could breed some of the new dragons, not to obtain all twins, all twin pedestals, and every new dragon traited. What understandably frustrated players the most was their inability to breed any new event dragons. Increasing the cloning percentage helped to resolve the issue. However, since the game revolves around chance, there will always be players who are unlucky with a dragon while cloning or breeding in the Vale or Rift (as Amos pointed out). Unfortunately, there isn’t much that can be done to address this, except to hold out hope for the next BEB. I really can’t see Deca raising the percentages any higher. They could introduce even more rare dragons over epics, but there needs to be some balance in the challenge of breeding new dragons to ensure players will not be bored and still entice players to support the game with in-app purchases.

Congratulations on 2 Yanghis as well as getting a couple of twins. Great result. It must be very challenging trying to keep up with having twins and twin pedestals of every dragon.
I also didn't get a rift Snowball although trying solidly for the week. I already know that I won't get a rift Yanghis. I don't have a Starshine in the rift - which needs Twinkle to breed, and I don't have one. I have been trying to breed a rift Twinkle on and off since the beginning of the event, but nothing yet.
Yay, after I had to power cycle my phone's connection (couldn't get a loading bar until I did) I'm pretty sure co-op cave gave me a Yanghis. Still can't breed the dragon I need to breed the dragon I need to breed the Yanghis (I think that's the right number of steps?) so was stuck with just non-instantaneous breedings for this limited.
I'm going to stop collecting them and see if it's worth a screenshot in some days.

It was the latest update on iOS (26th December) that stopped the ads working (still get the reward, but no ad plays).

i think odds have been really great for the event. i can breed new dragons much better & it is less stress. pls thank deca for me or i should email them & say thanks really. they did great job & i thank them for listening & thank u for telling them so change happened fast! we have nothing to complain w breeding & that was real quick!
