Thank you Crumble608, I was able to host a picture. If anyone knows how to fix this glitch please let me know. This is the problem. I am using a Apple IPad. My park has a glitch where I can’t pick who I want to give gems too. Players buttons are grayed out until the game randomly lets 7 players buttons pop. I have to keep checking until next reset for the 7 buttons to pop. The only buttons that pop have two gems are less. I usually rotate giving out my gems. It has been over a month since I have been able to give gems out to the people on the top of my list. As you can see from the picture I cannot choose them. DECA says they are working on this problem.

The ads which DECA runs which take you to the APP Store definitely cause an “OOPS!” and the Los of the daily Gem when the ad is played from Treasure. 🤬🤬🤬

Yesterday I managed to get the Colosseum gem shortly after reset, but when I tried later in the day to get the market gem and Tolzar magic, Tolzar had vanished. Watching ads to speed up breeds only gave the googly eyed frog, although it did reduce the time.
Today, there was no Tolzar - no Colosseum gem, no market gem and, as it's a doubles day, 300 magic not received. Eggy Hatchy 'redo' ads give the googly eyed frog, don't reset the breed but do deduct one 'redo' from the total. Speeding up breeding gives the googly eyed frog but does reduce the timer when the frog goes away.

Most of what you are talking about has been going on in my park from the beginning of event. My Tolzar has not vanished it does return. Just something I live with contacting DECA isn’t worth it.

All of my ads have been wonky since the latest update. Market gem is not given goes straight to oops, my eggy redos do not work properly and I frequently miss the colosseum extra gems. It will work fine and then they do an update and it doesn’t work well. It is always a mystery if the update will work for me or not. I miss out on a lot of currency and gems, but I have come to expect that this game is really buggy and have to live with it.

Thank you, MinyaZ! I reported this issue to Deca earlier today. They had not heard of Tolzar’s Optical Oracle failing to appear in a player’s park or ads being absent from all locations. So this looks to be a new bug — and from what I can tell, a very serious one. They’re working on it. I’ll let you know if I hear anything. You may want to open a support ticket, or I can have them look at your park if you’re okay with me sharing your Friend ID. I’ll message you.
In the meantime, please keep track of the gems and Magic you are losing as a result of this bug so you can be compensated.

I believe the reason why it has become significantly more difficult for ads to play since the event started is because Eggy Hatchy is eating up too much memory. As a result, it’s taking even longer for the ads to load, as the game is lagging. This is affecting all iOS players, but the less RAM, the worse the problem. In addition, the ads for the Redo function in Eggy Hatchy will be out of reach and unplayable for those who have 2GB RAM and a large park, since Eggy is open and being played, hogging the device’s memory.
I’ve asked Deca to optimise Eggy Hatchy, so ads can launch and the game doesn’t drag. I don’t know if it’ll be fixed during this event, but hopefully it will be before Eggy is in another event.

Tolzar returned late last night so I was able to get the double magic & market gem, so not a total disaster. In all, he was missing for about 24 hours, so I missed a full cycle of all the gems, magic and Eggy Hatchy ads in this time.
Tolzar has been very constant in my park, so I probably shouldn't complain when he goes on holiday for a day when others are having a bigger problem and are losing more currency and gems.

Mine didn’t start with the current event (minus the redo issue). I started having issues the day I installed the last update. I am pretty good with the timing of everything and the tips and tricks to getting all gems and currency. Whatever they improved for some with the update they messed up with my game. The market gem I got daily with two updates ago, now I get oops every time no matter the timing and before the event started. I have found about every other update works with mine. It is like a seesaw of will it work for me or will it work for others. They seem to fix for some and break for others on a constant basis.

The problems with the oops from Tolzar has been on going for so long I couldn’t tell you when it started. Some ads play and might get the gem a lot of the time it’s the oops. The colosseum I have had maybe two ads in the last several months most of the time I don’t get ad in colosseum. The egg game (which I am not a fan anyway) the redo ad played once the rest haven’t been there at all or are the oops. When you contact DECA their response is they know there is a problem and are working on it. The frog shows up and then the ad kicks in and by the time you soft close then reopen and tap screen to get screen not to be stretched out you get nothing. I have no longer paid any attention to the ads or when I get gems, magic,etc. I just do the best I can with the game as it is with all the glitches. Even speed up of time with eggs doesn’t work like it use to. My device is newer and has more than 2 GB RAM.

The last DV update was released a week before the event started, so it likely had the event content. The ad problems are always more prominent for devices with lower RAM and slower processors. Hopefully when the event departs it’ll be better, but it might take another update with optimisations.

I’ll let Deca know this is the solution, because they were unaware of it when this problem occurred for other iOS players over the last year. This way, they will know how to better assist other players.

Hahaha! I’m so pleased Tolzar has made a triumphant return! He really shouldn’t sneak off or take an impromptu holiday without filling out the proper paperwork first.

Without knowing what device you play on, the most likely problem is a lack of RAM with your device.
Some suggestions (which are also mentioned in several posts prior to this)
Play in Low Resolution Mode.
Wait until Tolzar's Optical Oracle is green before attempting to watch any ads then wait another 30-60 seconds to allow ads to load before trying to watch them.
Watch ads first before collecting from habitats, redoing breeding, visiting the rift etc.
This is not a guaranteed fix, but it may help you watch the ads more often.

Something new (for me) on the glitchy ads. The ad offered this morning for the Colosseum re-directed to the App store on closing. I managed to get back into the game and it had given the two gems for watching.
In my other park, same ad but this time on closing it froze the game on the watch ad/later screen. Soft closed the game, went back in and clicked on watch ad. Got the Oops, but two gems were added to the total.
I thought the ad was called The Manor (or similar), but I can't find it in the app store. It was a woman sitting on a rocking chair with a baby and logs of wood were being added to the fire to keep her warm. The window behind her was broken - she needed to be fixing that before throwing more logs on the fire!

You may want to double-check your settings to be sure you’re playing in Low Resolution Mode. It’s highly unusual to have a 3GB RAM device performing so poorly. If you are playing in low res, there are only two reasons I can think of that would account for your inability to play the majority of adverts:
1. You’re playing the ads before they’ve had a chance to load, which is resulting in the Oops! message. Follow the steps in this post. When the Colosseum is ready, open your game, wait for the Oracle to show, then wait another 60 seconds. Use a stopwatch or clock to time your wait. If the Colosseum ad doesn’t play, wait 90 seconds next time. Keep lengthening the wait time until the ad plays. Once you find the appropriate amount of time that allows the advert to run, use that time before playing each ad. Don’t play ads back to back.
2. If the above does not work, and no length of wait time lets the ads run, then there could be an issue with your device. It’s so odd to hear a 3GB device is consistently unable to play ads. To give some perspective, I have a 2GB phone that really struggles with the size and amount of animated decorations in my park. It will crash several times while simply moving through my park. But it can still play ads.
I’ll try to create a new post that has the above information plus other tips for players who are having difficulty getting ads to operate. This way, all the information will be located in one place. It may take a little while for me to complete it, because I have other DV documents and things to create first. In the meantime, use the old post I linked (I’ve made some significant updates, so it should address any current issues).

Was the ad for a mobile game called Manor Matters?
Manor Matters is developed by Playrix, whose other titles include the ultra-buggy Homescapes, Gardenscapes, and Fishdom. I’ve never received an ad for Manor Matters, but given Playrix’s habit or providing us with lousy adverts that open the App Store, it kinda reeks of them.
