Deca was already aware of this bug when we spoke with them earlier today. They’re looking into it.
Discovered this morning that I WAS able to visit DV Friends parks but NOT ABLE to visit Friends from Game Center...this should be a big help for DECA.
I visited your beautiful park looking for Party Hats but it crashed halfway through 🙄. Not your fault I’m sure but I had cleared memory prior to my visit.

It’s probably at least partially my fault your device crashed, because my park has an insane, somewhat inappropriate amount of animated decorations. So it takes a lot of RAM to visit. I know some players can’t even open my park.
The Game Center clue makes me think you may be logged out of GC. If you open your Social menu, at the bottom there will be a button with the GC icon. If it’s blue, it means you’re logged in. If it’s red, you’re logged out and it’ll say 'Login'. Click it and login, that should resolve the issue.
But if you’re already logged in, then that’s not the problem, and back to the drawing board we go...

Whatever happened to the number of gems needed to speed up an RBC resetting to normal levels after a day? I don't recall if it ever did work that way, but if they're not going to do that, then DECA should remove the message that says they will. I suppose I can submit yet another support request...
This is an old bug from BFS’s days. The cost to speed up breeds at the RBCs does not reset daily to the base rate (1 gem/hour). And there doesn’t appear to be consistency with the reset time from cave to cave or across different player’s parks. MinyaZ and I tried to find a pattern for the various caves’ reset times when the RBCs were last implemented, and could not make rhyme or reason of it.
The pop-up message at the main RBC indicates a daily reset, but the other caves provide no information on the reset time.
This has been reported to Deca, but please feel free to open a ticket if you want. 😊

LOL. Is anyone able to speed up a few minutes without having to watch an ad? When I'm prompted to speed breeds up by a few mintues, it proceeds to do so without watching an ad!
Doesn't work on the Optical Oracle for event items unfortunately.
Never mind. I think everyone got the same ad problem too... Still kinda nice to skip the ads to reduce breeding a bit though...

adlerist The first two days of the event were full of oops, but you said that they were fixing it and would take a couple of days. great 😊
Over the weekend, double Saturday was bad and I could only collect from one Tolzar. So I emailed support, stating I had clips of the error messages and the freeze screens, ‘cause I recorded again on day 2 and 3.
Then on Sunday, a miracle happened and I was able to collect all three Tolzar @100 and the colosseum and the bonus gem!
I got an email from support, Carol, asking me to video the error message from the beginning , like open the game, got to Tolzar, then to the colosseum. So I’m thinking everything is fixed now, it worked yesterday, but what the heck.
So today, I hit record first, before opening the app, and sure enough, Oops on Tolzar, and then on to the colosseum, Oops again. 🙄. So I just emailed the clip to Carol, let’s see what happens. 🤷🏻♀️
Thanks so much for taking all these videos for Deca! They need you as their cinematographer.
If you receive an Oops! message from Tolzar’s Optical Oracle, it tends to glitch the ads so they won’t load. As a result, the Colosseum and Market ads won’t play. It’s best to force close the app and reopen your game after an Oops! message.
You may want to changed the order you watch the ads, maybe that will help (?). When the Colosseum is finished, I’ll open my game, wait for the Oracle to show (so I know the ads are ready), complete the Colosseum and watch the ad for the bonus gems. Then I’ll wait about 30 seconds before playing the Oracle ad.
If the Colosseum ad redirects then freezes the game when I return to DV, I’ll force close the app. When I reopen DV, sometimes I can complete the Colosseum again, sometimes not.
Yes, normally that’s what I would do, but Carol gave exact instructions on how the clip should be.

The ideal recording would start with the loading of the DragonVale app, going further with click on Tolzar's Optical Oracle and/or after that the Colosseum, and ending with the error message that you receive (or the lack of it).

Dear Deca, I want to bring to your attention the problems with watching ads for gems and event currency. The problem is, the ads aren’t playing and I’m getting the “oops” message. So far, since the event started, I’ve only been able to collect from Tolzar’s Optical Oracle twice @ 50 eggs. Nothing from the Coliseum or the Gem Ad Vision in the Market. That’s twice in three days, out of a possible 15 opportunities. So far I have lost 500 eggs and 9 gems in these three days. Not only am I getting the Oops Message, but if an ad did happen to play, it stretched out my screen and didn’t award Event Currency. I had to close my game and restart, only to have the Oops message again. After the first day, I have been recording my play whenever I attempt to play a Vision. Today, we had a fairly lengthy discussion with Deca regarding this issue. They changed Lunis and Solis so they can no longer be bred in the RBCs, like all the other Galaxy dragons. However, this seems like an odd solution, and contrary to Lunis’ and Solis’ breeding requirements.
Unlike other Galaxy dragons, Lunis and Solis can be bred in any breeding location. Even though they have a galaxy element, they also contain the moon element (Lunis) and sun element (Solis), and they require Moon/Sun in their breeding combos. So they’re quite different from other Galaxy dragons. Lunis and Solis definitely bend the Galaxy breeding rules. Since they can be bred outside of the co-op, the Game Reps strongly believe they should be breed-able and clone-able in the RBCs. I think it’s too late to apply the Galaxy breeding rules on Lunis and Solis now, a year after they were released.
Deca is looking into this again. If there’s any changes, I’ll let everyone know. But in the meantime:

I’ll post here if anything changes, but in the meantime, please refrain from breed Lunis in the RBCs. It can no longer be bred, so its egg cannot be added to the Egg History and claimed.

It seems like they goofed Lunis and Solis. They wanted them to only be bred in the cooperative like the other Galaxy dragons but they put Moon and Sun in the breeding hint and that messed everything up. It’s not a big mistake if they just let us breed them like we’ve always been able to, but trying to change them now to cooperative only is a little nuts.
Thank you to you and the Game Reps for not letting them get away with this so easily! 😄 I don’t think they should be making these huge changes to dragons a year later. I don’t get what they’re trying to do here.

I think for some reason Deca thought Lunis and Solis couldn’t be bred outside of the co-op, so not allowing them in the RBCs made total sense to them.
But every player knows Lunis and Solis can be bred anywhere, so not allowing them to be bred in the RBCs makes zero sense to all of us.

Reading the reply that greggerman had received, Deca have already changed Lunis and Solis so that they are not able to be single parent cloned (effectively making them Galaxy dragons). My hope was that they can still be selected to be used in the Runic Breeding Cave for the elements they contribute. They should be able to be single parent cloned, but there was obviously a problem with the Runic Breeding Caves and these two dragons causing players games to crash.
I totally agree that they shouldn't be changing breeding rules after the dragons have been out for over twelve months. I think everyone would support you and the other game reps with this.

Deca did tell the reps they changed Lunis and Solis so they cannot be bred in the RBCs. I think they deemed this as a quick fix but didn’t consider the repercussions. We’d like them to reassess this 'fix' because it doesn’t follow the logic of the game, and it’s only going to upset players. There are other ways to prevent the game from crashing that don’t require altering how a dragon is bred. Maybe it won’t be as easy as blocking Lunis and Solis from the RBCs, but at least it won’t be a mistake to the game.
If Deca decides changing Lunis and Solis is their solution, hopefully they’ll at least notify everyone in-game with a message, so people are not breeding for Lunis and Solis in vain. Because there’s no way players will know the breeding location has changed.

So then I can’t breed lunis anywhere except the co-op now??? I like being able to breed Lunis and Solis in the park and rift. It’s not fair to new players if they can’t breed them in the rift that means they have to get them from the Galaxy Mystery Egg and it will cost a lot of etherium.
I don’t think DECA really understands all the dragon breeding rules. Galaxy dragons are bred with other Galaxy dragons to make another Galaxy dragon. Using a Galaxy dragon with the Moon dragon to breed Lunis means Lunis isn’t a Galaxy dragon b/c it doesn’t need to be bred in the Co-op. I bred Lunis in the Rift with a Galaxy dragon and moon. To be fair there are a lot of breeding rules so it is confusing but it might be good if DECA went over the rules first before creating dragons for that category.
I hope they let us breed Lunis and Solis in the Runic Caves and the rift and everywhere else. If they change it and we can only get them from the co-op that will really stink!! 😡

An older version of DV would be my SWAG too, however, this only started happening within the last few days. The reason I visit those older friends (whose level is lower and haven’t played for years) is because their parks are much smaller which makes it easier and quicker to find Party Hats plus, returning to my own Park at the time I make my visits (usually after 11:00 PM MST) almost always causes time reductions for the Nest the EBS or the EBC.
Not a big deal really but it seems as though every time DECA fixes or changes something in one area, something in another area gets messed up.
For the past two days, all my have been playing smoothly, and get this, paying out eggs too!! 😅

For the past two days, all my have been playing smoothly, and get this, paying out eggs too!! 😅

Hehe, I got it the first time today after reset, maybe it’ll make the rounds soon. I didn’t get the Chick-fil-A spicy sandwich ad until a week or so after grandpakenny . 😆

Homescape ads back and messing things up. Loading sideway, elongated after play, getting oops after it plays. I wouldn’t download one of these games for anything. The fish, the woman leaving husband, woman needing to use restroom and waiting for bathroom to be decorated.🤦♀️
Edit...Found that along with all the ads being wacky and being forced into App Store that Elminster and one of my flag people didn’t show up in park.🤷♀️
