It’s true that 50 gems is a drop in the bucket but I figured why not ask DECA just to see the response! I spent 281 gems to catch up 10 days and found out the next day that someone on Reddit needed 355 gems to catch up 11 days. I paid the 281 gems because I knew DECA’s track record for compensation was not good and that waiting for DECA to erase the catch-up cost probably wouldn’t work, so recovery would get too costly by waiting. Seems I was right on that one, DECA never did erase catch-up cost for anyone as far as I know. I thought I was going to get the cold shoulder asking for 50 gems but a couple of days later they sent me an email response and the 50 gems. So they surprised a little but maybe they were hoping most people would skip the request in disgust? LOL (I see many people got partial compensation exactly as I did)

There was definitely a fairly large group of players who only received 100 gems. I think there may have been some confusion. Instead of 150 gems, the amount could have been conveyed to customer support as 50 gems for everybody and 100 more for those who were affected by the bug. I can see how this could be interpreted as 100 gems instead of 50 + 100.

Many people have said they reached out and were told that DECA weren't going to give anyone else compensation (despite Luflic saying people should reach out if they didn't get it), because compensation was only automatically given to the parks that they had recorded as ones affected by the bug.
This was what I got: "the additional compensation is distributed only to players that have been confirmed to be affected by the issue by our system. Those players will receive the compensation automatically to their parks and no further actions are necessary."
Someone else got: "Please note that all accounts that we have a record of, to be affected of the issues previously mentioned, have been distributed a compensation"
Definitely still reach out, imnachokitty, but don't get your hopes up. I'm so sorry this happened to you. I know your pain 😔
Yes, I do know players are receiving those messages. I’ve reported them to Deca, and they’ve looked into it. When a player doesn’t receive compensation, contacting Deca, as they requested, is the next step so there’s a record of the ongoing issue. The majority of players were compensated. For those who weren’t, Deca will review their records.

Great start to the event. Watched the videos, started collecting coins and was thrown out. When the game reloaded, I was missing the 150 currency from the videos. No point in contacting support. Last event I lost 420 EC from dragon drop and was told they couldn’t verify this so didn’t get them back.
The compensation was woefully inadequate. I don’t think anyone can deny that. If you didn’t receive compensation, please contact support. It would still be worth getting the gems and EC since the event market is still open.
I’m so sorry this happened to you imnachokitty ! Not only were you unable to play for 10 days, the compensation was insufficient and wasn’t even sent to you. 💔 I don’t know if Deca will add anything else to the compensation. We have certainly been pushing for it for days, but we have not heard a final decision.
They sent it to me. But when I pushed ‘collect’, it did not credit me with event currency. The gems were credited, but did not make up for having to pay gems to open event gifts, 9-10 days of Colossseum collection and any I may have gotten in quests. Thank you for caring.
FYI, I have an update for those interested. I sent an email with photos responding to the “How did we do” email from DECA. I believe you said, you received the 10,000 EC, but when you collected, it did not add to your total. If you collected on Monday, after the event concluded, there could be a problem in the game. Could you please message me the support ticket number? It doesn’t matter if the ticket has been closed. Having the details from your park, that did not receive compensation, will allow them to track down where information was lost, resulting in accounts not being flagged for compensation. Unfortunately, Deca does need to verify lost currency and items before replacing it; otherwise, players could take advantage. If there’s something in the game that's likely to cause crashes, like ads or the mini-games, you may want to video record while you're playing, so you have something to submit with your ticket that confirms the loss. It’ll also provide a time stamp, which is extremely helpful.
I’m very sorry this happened to you twice, willowthecat! I know the game has been less stable for a lot of players.

So one of the alts (my kid’s alt) messed up and the event was gone like the glitch last event. She’d just logged in for the evening to collect her compensation dragon and, well, on reload the event was back, but the dragon has been auto-selected.
She sent a ticket to Deca before she rebooted and took a screenshot of her park without the event (it didn’t even have her little avatar off in the left corner). We’ll see if Deca helps her out.
Have many others had this issue again with the new dragon choice list/compensation reward? Hoping Deca sees ‘the event ended early for her’ and gives her the choice she was intending to make. adlerist

Crashes are on the rise. The game has become much more unstable over the last month or so. It frequently crashes when switching parks, watching adverts, opening the Social menu, and consecutive Rift and Vale breeds. All the usual locations. The reps discussed the crashing and loading problems with Deca yesterday. Don’t know the cause, maybe there are several sources, but some optimisation couldn’t hurt.

Yes' halas, I do. tolzar gives me just 2 tries , not 3. The second one crashes. Precisions: I'm in low resolution ( it's a pity for a so beautiful'game) , optimize memory, turn out, in, out, in my device.... everything I had to do, I did it...

I've sent them every day and assumed as the ones she sent me arrived, that all was well.
I notice that when I am in the Social panel that the Facebook Login is red, and I thought perhaps that was causing a problem, but when I tried to Login to Facebook from the Social section I get an error message saying "App not active.: This app is not currently accessible and the app developer is aware of the issue. You will be able to log in when the app is reactivated."
Also I have never had so many crashes as I have in the past few days. This morning the first crash was breeding in the rift. Two more collecting cash from habitats and two more while trying to breed in the coop.
I hate to think that all the gems and treats I've sent my friend have disappeared into the ether. I think she said that her Friends have disappeared, but I don't know what she should do to get them back, and if she will then be able to collect the accumulated gems?

I'm sorry to hear that your friend hasn't been receiving the gems and treats that you have been sending them every day.
Unfortunately, there has been a problem with logging in with Facebook for some months. Deca have made several announcements regarding it, but it doesn't look any closer to being solved any time soon.
Please send your friend a friend request through the ingame friending system. Instructions here if you need them. Your friend will also need to send you a friend request to complete the process.
It is also suggested that you save your game through Google or Game Centre. If your game is only saved through Facebook, do not uninstall it and reinstall it.
If your friend's friends that have disappeared from Facebook, she will not be able to get them back at the moment.
adlerist has made a post further up about the number of crashes being more frequent at the moment. I think everyone is experiencing this.

Bugs that only affect one or several dragons are not going to be a high priority. I believe this issue may be related to a Spellform enhancement bug that causes crashes and a problem with dragons freezing at the event island mini colosseum and the Transfiguration Tower.
I don’t mind reporting the Quantum bug again, but it probably won’t make it a higher priority. Issues that affect gameplay will always be first in line.

If you were in the game when the latest data was added (two new decorations, Kroki, Hidden Habitat increase, and Aubergine’s correction), you may have noticed the Gemstone Island has fused with the event island, the tiers in the event market are missing, the EC icon changed from Magic to Candy Corn, and the event market’s title is now Bizarre Bazaar. You won't be able to play the mini-games or collect EC.
Force closing the game will not resolve the bug. Deca is looking into the issue right now. I’ll post an update as soon as it’s available.

The long-awaited news is finally here! Deca has been working with Meta for the last nine months, and they just confirmed that the Facebook login issue has been fixed.
