I'm having a horrible time getting the chest in mini games. Only managed to get one so far. How are y'all snagging the chest so many times? Any tips on that are greatly appreciated 😁

• The invisible giant Melody habitat bug has been fixed! Feel free to place Melody anywhere you wish.
PSA: Do not place the giant Melody habitat in the north corner of an island — it could cause crashes.
Please see this post for screenshots of the problematic locations on an island.
If you place the giant Melody habitat in these areas, the habitat will be invisible (only the music notes will display).
And if you move the island’s portal, the portal will disappear, and your game will crash non-stop.
This is a screenshot taken by CalliAlli, the FB Rep. One of her players had the giant Melody habitat in the invisible location. They moved the portal to the other empty square (circled in green). When they moved the portal, it vanished, and now their game crashes constantly.
If you have an invisible Melody habitat, move it a couple spaces so it is visible, as soon as possible.
I tested the large and small Melody habitats, and they do not have the invisible glitch. It appears the giant habitat is the only one with the bug.
Deca is aware of the issue, and I’ll update everyone when there’s more information.

Here’s the evolve decoration strategy that I used when evolve dragons were released and typically recommend for players: You’ll need to buy extra mini game plays. Pick a game you’re comfortable with and after playing the 5 free games, buy additional plays for 5 gems each. It’s best to do this on a double (or triple) day to take advantage of the extra Candy. The additional (paid) plays will guarantee a gold chest — if you win the game (but no guarantee you’ll receive an evolve deco, and you can receive duplicates). When you’ve obtained ~75% of the decorations, you’ll be receiving too many duplicates, so the mini games are no longer worth it. Buy the Summoning Chest of Day/Night in the event market instead to complete your collection, because they guarantee an unowned decoration.

You’ll receive an evolve decoration you do not own. You may want to place any evolve decorations in your Gifts first, just to be extra careful.

I started using my Surprise dragon because it's much lower earning than my Rainbow dragons.
Thanks for that tip, FluffyRae. With that in mind, I'm going to try using my Enfis dragon. After a quick survey, it appears that may be the lowest earner of all of the dragons that contribute all 10 basic elements. If anyone knows otherwise, let us know!

I only got dragon cash in the mini games. Very disappointed. Then late last night I got maybe 80 candy corn. None of the dragon parts.

I bought one each of all 3 sizes of Melody Habitats (unlike other habitats these have such great animation I am going to want all sizes not just the largest). I can upgrade my regular for 5,000 and upgrade my Large for 7,500. So if you want Giant, it is cheaper to just buy for 7,500. If you buy the regular and upgrade it, the giant will end up costing you 15,000.

At the beginning of this event I needed 9 out of 10 Flames of Corruption. I have all the other evolution idols/decorations.
I spent about 200ish gems on extra plays of Guess the Egg, got them all correct. I would say, maybe 50% of the time I was awarded an evolution decoration, with me only getting 5 flames that I actually needed. 😕 I was very thrilled when I saw the guaranteed chests in the market. 🤗 But now, not so sure. I just used up all my candy, purchasing 29 chests, and only got 3 out of the 4 that I need.
Looks like I won’t be having any extra candy to spend this time. 🙄🎃

Yes, it is supposed to be guaranteed to be one you do not own unless DECA changed the odds this event. You do have to go to the correct day or night chest and also pull new ones from gifts so you do not get duplicates. Also people with slow internet should give a bit more time than others that have fast internet to give the game time to catch up between purchases. I would contact DECA and ask.
