Reset has been moved to 16.00, yes, but now I don't have time at 11.00. That leaves ~19.00. I guess someone might do fine with that, but that's not me.

Okay, so it's not really about the change of the reset, but other life things. That's cool. No harm in pausing the game if you don't have time. It, and we, will be here when you can get back to it.

Has anyone figured out the whole pumpkin reappearing thing? How often and how many?

I only know that when I went to bed last night I had no border on my visitors, when I woke up and checked (an hour before reset) the border was back and I found 3 pumpkins before I had to leave and the border was still there (meaning there were more still).

PUMPKIN PAYOUT

5 Small pumpkins: 10 Candies
2 Medium pumpkins: 20
2 Yellow pumpkins: 30
1 Giant pumpkin: 50
1 Whitbee: 50

(All amounts are for regular days)


RE-SPAWNING RATE

12 hours after you collected the small pumpkins, medium pumpkins, and yellow pumpkins (so try to find them as soon as possible), they will return.

Giant pumpkin and Whitbee only appear once.

Deca confirmed the evolve decorations are in the mini game chests. Yesterday, I asked for the Guaranteed Chest to be added to the event market and to allow the decos to be sold for Candy. We’re still awaiting confirmation.

Last year, Ghostly primaries could only be evolved with gems, and Deca changed it after Forum members asked to use event currency. Hopefully, they’ll do this again, along with allowing players to sell evolve decos for Candy.

As per a previous event, my evolve strategy is to buy additional plays until I have most of them and then hold out for a guaranteed chest. This time I remembered to do it on a double weekend (I used to just always buy an additional every 12h) and I decided I’d buy an additional play until I didn’t get a chest. This morning I may have underestimated my skill at egg recognition because by the time I finished, I’d dropped 150 gems! On the other hand, i now have 3/4 ghostly effigies, 25/30 evolve decorations, a handful of Macabre pieces, and a bunch of duplicates! I might stop buying now.

I’ve stopped buying plays when I’m getting too much evo decos and only 5 Eldritch pieces, which are the only ones I need. Whatever they are, they must have a low drop because I’ve wasted 700 gems...

I might take a short break until the errors of this event wraps up unless I get a traited Zombie and a Wendigo earlier.

Are there a lot of errors? People have to gift their friends 3 hours later, and the guaranteed chest, selling dupes for candy, and evolving ghostlys for candy are not in the game yet. But it’s nothing that’s hurting gameplay.

Although I definitely I agree with you that it’s good to take a break if you’re not having fun. There’s no sense spending your time on something you don’t enjoy when there’s a lot of other things that are more satisfying. Koala and we’ll see you when you come back! ☺️

Did you get any of the flames in the chests?  

I bought 5 extra turns/chests and didn’t get anything, only food, coins and candy. And since I spent 900 gems last week on storage and hiber upgrades, I don’t have extra gems to waste right now.

adlerist, I seem to have been under an improper assumption about the evolve items available in the Golden chests.
I had though that ALL 160 of the evolve required idols/decorations were being offered as possible prizes in the extra 5 gem Golden chests in the mini games.

Is it only 30 items being offered? Those for Porcelain, Wraith and Corrupticorn, along with the Effigies?

There must've been some drought in the Vale. The pumpkins aren't as large.

Yes, that’s correct. The evolve decorations for Corrupticorn, Porcelain, and Wrath are in the mini game chests. Those are the dragons that are available in the event market. The Thanksgiving and Xmas evolve decos will likely arrive the next time the dragons are released. This should be beneficial, since you won’t need to spend as many gems on the mini games or Candy on the Guaranteed Chest to complete three sets of evolve decorations.
