Bread 3 in a raw in the rift, all rifted, one of which will be the egg and if I bread a non rifted I will keep it hidden in the vale when his limited time has passed. We used to have such nice dragons but since a while I find many totally unattractive. My two cents.

I don’t mind the dragon too much. It’s a little humanoid sitting in a chair tho. I think they were trying to follow classic mythology since dragons fit well with mythology, but I can see how the design isn’t for everyone.
An arrow whizzed by Gardenia’s feet as she walked by. Startled, she looked back and saw CUPIDO shooting arrows at the ground. 'I thought your arrow pierced our hearts so we’d fall in love,' said Gardenia. 'No, no that’s far too dangerous,' replied Cupido. 'I aim for the stone’s heart and turn it into a sweetheart.' Gardenia was surprised Cupido’s magic was so literal.
Cupido is in the co-op falling in love. Koala cupid to all! ❤️🐨❤️
Got lucky with Cupido and received it on the fourth try in the Rift with a nifty fire trait. I hope everyone wrangles this fun-loving dragon soon.

I also got Cupido in the Rift, gotta love the Rift, I get most of my dragons from there. Trying for one in the Epic cave so I have a regular Cupido too.

Or in the quest to fix overriding twilight towers, are we missing out on the settings for the event? Maybe they could override during the tutorial and then people could reset them at the beginning of the event if they choose.

Yeah, I think I'm going to have to pass on Cupido. I don't like this one. It looks like Kefka's god form ready to strike someone down with the light of judgement.
I confess this is why DragonVale has become a much easier game, because I don't like the dragons DECA comes up with half as much as I liked the dragons BFS made. When BFS was in charge, I usually wanted all the dragons in an event. It was a struggle because I wanted so many but couldn't afford all of it. Nowadays, I can usually pass over half the dragons in an event. Sometimes more.
This is the first event since DECA took over that features many dragons that I actually want. I can't even remember the last time I wanted five new dragons from a single event. But Cupido? No, not this one. I'll keep trying for Lullaby and see what comes next.

With the eyes these dragons have and the event name of sweet dreams, why is it day and not night?

The Twilight Tower theme for the event is Rose. There isn’t really a nighttime Valentine’s theme. It would be incredible if Deca created a night theme that was truly dark. Usually the sky is dark but the islands are super bright so you can’t see any of the light decorations glow.

The Love dragon turned 10 years old this month. She was the first three-element dragon, the first Valentine’s dragon, and is so ubiquitous, she’s in five locked breeding combinations. For all those reasons and more, Love is our new Forum award.

That’s not true, you can move an untraited dragon into the Rift. It can reside in any habitat or ...

Sorry, meant traited, not untraited. An untraited dragon can reside in the Rift Hibernation Cave. The point being that the trait presents a new rule in breeding, so it does make sense for traited dragons to be bred in the Rift and untraited dragons to be obtained in the Vale.

I thought about this too. It is weird there aren’t any Dream dragons. I guess Deca forgot about the Dream element when they created the event. Maybe there will be some Dream limiteds, but it would’ve made sense to have Lumineux and especially Lightmare be Dream dragons.

The baby has the hair, the heart on tail and wings traited. The adult only has the hair. I feel like the dragons are being rushed lately which explains why the elements and sounds are uninspired.

OK I see what you mean. It does seem like the trait location does change from baby to adult on several dragons. I’m glad DECA isn’t using plant, cold, fire, earth for every dragon. They have been using light a lot.

At the very least Lullaby and Lightmare should have been dream dragons. Lullaby looks so out of place in the Melody habitats and with the name Lightmare…come on… it should have been next to Nightmare.

i think u got it. i think deca forgot dream element & did aura like last valentine. to bad i love nightmare obvious would be good to have lightmare w my nightmare dragon.
