Tap on the briefcase, then forest/ garden, it’ll show the egg/pupa/caterpillar beside any butterfly you already have, check whether mature bf can be levelled further, if not, tap on spare and tap sell 😊 EDIT, can’t sell egg, only pupa or caterpillar, OR gifted egg put in storage cos garden temporarily full... Haven’t checked to see if they earn more if you mature to bf before sell...
Yeah the space vs level up is similar to early days in a dv Park, use of resources 😄

However, although I understand some of the hatching and fusing system, with many of my butterflies/moths earning four gold wings and a gold whatsit at the top right hand corner of their personal page, I'm still unsure if I'm aiming to breed two of each species to the highest level or stick with one fully certified/winged/fedup of each and sell off the duplicates.
When I'm breeding, I've been selecting three different flowers in the hope of achieving my hoped for outcome - with major disappointments. I sell the duplicates in Starlight. In Flutter, I sell the duplicates unless they have a special ability (creating sap or twigs, laying eggs, etc). They will sell for more if you level them up, but you’re also paying for them to level up since the pollen isn’t free. I sell the ones I don’t want soon as the egg hatches since my forest is pretty crowded.
In the early stages, I selected attract without using flowers. This gives you a chance to collect and fuse flowers. Once you have a nice collection of butterflies /moths then check your book to see which ones are missing from each set. Place the appropriate flowers to get the ones missing. I sell the flowers for sets that are completed. Save the size and class flowers. Your best bet is to use 100% flowers of set, size and class, all 3.

I need some help please. When placing attraction flowers they don't seem to stay put. For example, I chose rarity and size but when I selected region, all of the flowers changed to the region. What am I doing wrong? Hopefully I'll get better at this

Sounds like you’re choosing the event flower. With those you don’t need a separate rarity or size flower. Be sure to use the 100% flower for event butterflies.

When there is an event on, like now in daylight game, those flowers take up all 3 spots when you select them.
Btw, is anyone else getting little targets that stay for a wee while then disappear : what on Earth do we do with them? I’ve tapped on them but dunno what they do. Some have faces some look like bull eyes... ive asked support but no answer yet anyone worked this out?

Sounds like you’re choosing the event flower. With those you don’t need a separate rarity or size flower. Be sure to use the 100% flower for event butterflies.

Just above the breeding box there's a circle of red flowers, of which part is a catapult. You can use this to shoot the faces and targets that appear to earn honeydew.
Hope I've been able to at last contribute something useful to this thread, after all the help I've received myself!

Runaway has a new game out, Bird BnB. Played up to level 3. It’s a bird BnB where you check in the birds, give them a nap, feed them, then check out time. You build nests, add bird baths, grow food and other tasks. It works great on my Android Note 10. Still trying to get it work on my iPad Pro. So far I like it and hope it stays interesting and fun. 😊
