Camp DragonVale is open again, and everyone’s abuzz. There are no tents here; the stars in the night canopy the campers in zodiac dreams. With their telescopes and stargazing hopes, wizards watch the new killer stars, while Nebula frames the prettiest stars from a light year ago. Singularity’s infinite density and infinitesimal volume is the finest space oddity as time and space become infinitely distorted. Meanwhile, Chomp is in a moonage daydream pondering life on Mars, and if there’d be enough soup for everyone on the planet. From the shooting star to the falling star, at Camp DragonVale, everyone is a starman. Everyone is a part of the zodiac dream.

Deca Games’ official Camping Under the Stars FAQ has camped out right here to answer all your wilderness questions.
Camping Under the Stars will conclude on September 5th at 8.00 AM MDT. It will not be possible to earn Star Dust after this time, but the Campside Merchant event market will remain open until September 7th, 8.00 AM MDT to purchase event items.

Three months ago, PlantDaddy submitted the sensation Syzygy Dragon to the Galaxy themed Deca Community Design Contest. Today, Deca Games has released the Gravity Dragon based on PlantDaddy’s design.

In April, LynnMarie, DragonMoonX, NinjaKiwi, bricetwice, Lady Redwolf, and swimmom248 discussed how much they wanted zodiac dragons on the Chatterbox. Three months later, their wish has come true! When you wish upon a star, stellar things can happen.

This is magnificent! Ever since I was a kid, I've always been fascinated with the stars, moon, constellations and other planets. Galaxy dragons have fascinated me since the very beginning when I first started playing DragonVale. And I'll be honest, I started losing interest in this game ever since DECA took over and we've had less cuddly/cute/colorful dragons. Seeing new Galaxy dragons, and now adding the Zodiac dragons, has caught my attention and made me want to start playing more often (I barely played at all during the last event, I just checked in and sent out gems).
I'll stick around for this event. And for the next one too, of course. Because that'll be the Halloween one. I'm also happy because I can finally start collecting Ignis pedestals for decorating purposes. The Combustion pedestal looks similar to Ignis, so I'll probably grab a couple of those as well.
We share our physical lives with those in spirit. For life, like love, never dies. Love knows no limits, not even death.
Thanks for all the info adlerist. From the look of the Zodiac habitats, I assume they don’t float in the sky like the Galaxy ones. Which is a shame as I have precisely no room on any islands & no desire to make room - I love them as they are!
Some players have not been able to load the game since the new event content was added yesterday. Deca released a fix before the event started today. So far, it looks like players can now access the game. If anyone is still having issues, please let me know. Deca will provide compensation for affected players.

I wanted the zodiac dragons to have the Galaxy element, or at least the ability to house them in the Galaxy habitats / islands. There’s zero land in the Vale, but tons of space in outer space. I doubt it’ll happen now with a new zodiac element and habitats, but it’s unfortunate that all the real estate floating in the sky has been overlooked.
