adlerist : was there any discussion in your last meeting with DECA about the daylight savings time change in the USA tonight? I know DECA is in Germany but I believe the game is on a cloud in the US. Do we know when reset is going to be? Do they think there might be issues like there have been in the past?
Deca hasn’t said anything about daylight savings time. They have yet to transition smoothly in or out of DST for the last two years, so I doubt it will occur this time.
Players should be aware that the game’s daily reset may recognise DST on Sunday, or it may not. I know that’s not really helpful, but Deca has struggled to be on time with DST in the past.

I finally got a rifted Mesmer. What would be the best to breed with to get a second?
There are a ton of dragons with long breeding times that you can use to clone Mesmer, since Mesmer has six primary elements. But I’ll limit it to the dragons that are available in this event and the permanent hybrids. You’ll want to clone with a dragon that has a long incubation time to increase the Roses you can earn.
Best dragons to use to clone Mesmer in the Rift for a second traited Mesmer and to maximise your Roses:

Permanent Hybrids Whirlwind Arctic Crystal

It’s daylight savings in the states and things are a little confused at reset. Egg hatchy and video adds have been reset. Free Daily vault and mini game was not reset. I don’t remember if I collected the daily gift or not (it’s such a habit I don’t remember).

The only thing that changed for me was that the Eggy stages were reset. The ads weren't. Everything else (Daily gift, Ts'aishen, Rift breeds, Tolzar, etc.) is the same.

Ever since Deca bumped up the daily reset, it usually takes at least 24 hours for all the game’s timers to sync to US DST. It’s been like this for a year or two, so I doubt it’ll change.

My luck is terrible-I try to breed a Primary egg and it gets rid of the primary every time. It's annoying and makes me have to breed it with a hybrid of the required element just to beat the level.
Same thing when "breeding" two hybrids consisting of the target element-the target element is removed about 75% of the time. If all of the target element eggs are removed, I simply quit the level as there's no point in going through with it (since I usually get the points necessary for the next level).
Of the handful of times where I DO get the element requirement, I end up with a total of about 7,000 points, which includes the twin eggs given. I cannot try a redo for the level due to the Chase Banking ad, else it will eliminate both my redo and quit me out of the level, resulting in a wasted ticket.
I also really dislike that I only get about 3-4 eggs with the target element, INCLUDING the primary egg, which really makes it tough. But when I do complete the level requirement, I tend to get ~100,000 points because the "breeds" are just insane (one level I ended with the element requirement eggs, as well as a Surprise, a twin Surprise, and a Twin Magnolia egg).
Still, I think the weekly towers have been progressively harder for me. The first tower was quite easy, and similarly with the second, but the third tower was a bit difficult, the fourth was pretty difficult, the fifth took me nearly the whole week, and this one I may not even finish, even if you gave me a whole week.
Eggy Hatchy needs to be reevaluated. During the last couple years there’s been so many complaints. Sadly, Deca didn’t adjust the boards prior to this event. Hopefully they will before it makes another appearance. And they desperately need to optimise Eggy so it doesn’t cause crashes and ad issues on iOS.
The reps brought up the Eggy problem again several weeks ago. Over the years, we have offered solutions to the egg and point goals that should resolve most of the frustration without making Eggy too easy. Players still want it to be somewhat challenging, but no-one wants to waste five or more tickets in a row on one level.

After posting a miniature rant about dragon breeding combos in the last year, I have a pretty good rule of thumb regarding the expectancy of limited-tier event releases:
Expect at least one dragon to have a breeding combo which requires a dragon released in the past year. And if not, expect an evolution dragon in one of the combos instead.
With the new event around the corner, I would expect at least one of the dragon combos to be similar to:
LUCK + CLOVER
PIXIE + FLOREA
FAE + GLASSWING
HEDERA + ROSEBUD
or NIAMH + WOODVINE
I will say now prior to the next event starting that if I somehow guessed one of these combos spot on, I would be surprised.

Quick question. Will I still be able to breed event dragons after the roses stop being able to be collected in 10 hours?
After EC collection stops, there will most likely be 2 days when you can still access the event market to spend EC. During those two days you'll be able to breed all returning event dragons and buy any of those or the new releases that remained throughout the event, but you will only be able to clone the dragons in the Lovely category (like usual). Glassia will have gone by then, so you won't be able to breed or buy any limited new releases from this event (apart from by parent cloning, like usual).
Looking at adlerist 's reminder about the reset, it seems like Mesmerus' evolution items will also be disappearing (since they're in the limited category) at the next reset. Since you can't clone Mesmerus without at least one of your own (if you only have one you need to use another in Co-Op), if you want Mesmerus, buy its decos now. You can wait for 2 more days to see if you'll get Mesmer though, since it's a returning dragon.
Also note that the daily reset might be an hour earlier due to DST. It might not be, but better safe than sorry, so treat the reset as if it's going to happen an hour earlier than usual.
The Idol of Hypnosis decorations may be available until March 15th. They’re in the Limited tier without a timer, and when Mesmerus was released, Deca did inform us that the decos will remain until the event concludes. However, it’s unclear if that will be March 13th or March 15th.
If anyone is interested in collecting the decos and evolving Mesmerus, please purchase the decorations before today’s reset just to be cautious. Thank you.

Don’t know if this has been answered but will we be able to evolve Mesmer if we have all of the evolution items after reset today?
Yes, as long as you have all the decorations, you’ll be able to evolve Mesmer into Mesmerus at any time. It will cost 100 gems after today’s reset. During the event, it costs 1,000 Roses.

I got my EC turned to coins already, like at the end of garden noms. Haven't checked my small parks though. I haven't collected any gifts in case DECA can fix the bug like last time.
Nooo!!! Something happened at the reset and turned all my roses into DC. There is no way to get back into the castle to redeem roses now. I hope they can fix this! We were supposed to have 2 days left to spend them.

I accidentally collected the gift in my main park because I mistakenly thought it was the daily login reward that was messed up. I’m so mad at myself. Luckily I had written down how many roses I had this very morning while deciding what to spend them on. This is so sad. Please be fixed! *crosses fingers and toes*

I think it will be harder to get them back if you collected the coins. I’ve been advising players not to collect.
