Did I miss something??? No after event to collect anything missed!?!? Just “Hey event over”. WHAT THE HECK DECA!!!! I had the roses to get the Mesmer dragon and you pull this fudge!?!?
The rift and the social gifting still think there is 40+ minutes to reset.
I’ve reported this. The event was scheduled for daylight savings time, but nothing else in the game was set to DST. None of the timers adjusted. DST continues to elude DV.

Alderist, they better give us some Ec (read a lot of ec) to make up for this blunder. Aside from that someone stole all the koalas because for the full 9 days, I was unable to get the glassia dragon rifted.
Update; we’ll they put the event back in but I only got back 1725 ec I’m my main park and 1850 in second. I had over 20k and 24k respectively before the event ended
Any chance we could get back our roses even if we accidentally collected the DC? I unfortunately did, and I had 40,684 roses.
I think it will be harder to get them back if you collected the coins. I’ve been advising players not to collect.
If I remember correctly, at he end of garden noms, DECA did have a method of fixing it for those who'd collected the DC. But it took a while and the people affected only had a few hours to spend the EC; either way it's definitely better not to collect anything just yet.

It's a bug. It happened to quite a few people at the end of Garden Noms too.
Why oh why don’t I come and read the board before I go crashing into DragonVale! I was even reminded the clocks had changed during the Oscar’s coverage on the BBC! 🤦🏻

When the last event ended early for players like me that went into the game immediately at reset I was offered 1,670 gems for the deduction of the credited 38257000 Dragoncash I had collected. Or one or more of the event dragons for the value of the Magic that was lost which was 38257 in total. They said the Dragoncash would be deducted that was credited to my park. The option did not include limited dragons.
It was a no brainier for me & I accepted the gems!
The glitch turned out to be a welcome problem. This time (I’m on vacation in the US) I was having breakfast at reset and I didn’t experience the glitch.
I like to look for the silver lining to the clouds 😁

Thank you so much for finding this out and keeping us updated!. Wish I didn’t accidentally collect my DC. It just said “gift from DECA” and I didn’t yet realize the event error.
I hope they can help me figure something out for mine. I had 40k + roses. ;(
Some of you may have already noticed a major bug with the current event, as it ended early for some players. Our team worked hard and was able to identify the affected players. We are in the process of restoring the missing Event Currency.
All the players who did not open the Dragon Cash gift will automatically receive their Roses back. This will be an automated process that is ongoing. If you have not collected the Dragon Cash from the Gift Menu, you do not need to contact our support team.
If you have collected your Dragon Cash from your Gifts, please feel free to reach out to our support team here - support.decagames.com/hc/en-us . They will be able to help you and restore your missing currency.

I didn't lose the roses in my little parks but still haven't got them in my main park. My main park was the only one I opened between when the reset is sort of occurring at the moment (2pm for me) and when it usually occurs and most things still get reset (3pm). I wonder whether the fact that I didn't open the small parks before the actual usual reset time had anything to do with the fact I didn't lose the roses.
Can anyone who didn't open their parks between the hour earlier reset and the usual reset time confirm whether they had the same experience, or whether you still lost your roses? I wonder whether, if it is a pattern that not opening your park within that hour means that you likely won't lose the roses, it might be an idea to mention this to everyone, so at future times when an event ends after the clocks have changed, people can wait until after the usual reset to try and avoid loss of EC.

Players who opened DV shortly after reset lost their Roses. Deca immediately corrected the problem, so no-one else would be affected. Part of this may be due to DST, but this has occurred before outside the DST change. I suppose players could wait an hour after an event concludes to ensure bugs are worked out. But this doesn’t occur frequently enough to take such precautions, and it would be difficult for players to remember. I think this needs to be something Deca works out on their end.

It's not what normally happens (it's a bug) but DECA is aware of the issue and is working on restoring lost roses. Since you didn't collect the DC it should hopefully happen automatically, though since it looks like even more people were affected this time than during Garden Noms (looking at how many Reddit posts have been made about it, and how many comments on this thread) it will take a while.

Roses have accidentally been converted into DC a couple days too early. Deca is aware of the situation, and they’re looking into it right now. I will inform everyone as soon as there’s an update, which should be soon…
I wouldn't care if the bug affected me or not, since I have 17 roses after doing everything last night.

Are you saying your Roses were converted into DC, you did not claim the DC, and now the DC is no longer in your Gifts and your Roses have not been restored? If so, please open a help ticket with Deca as soon as possible so they can reinstate your Roses.
