Yes. I also have Optimise Memory turned on, which I seem to remember had the side effect of causing lag, though I keep that on since my game was having trouble loading without it on. When I get the chance, I'll see if turning Optimise Memory off seems to do anything.

Just like OboeKade mentioned, make sure low detail mode is kept on. You seem to have it enabled currently, so that shouldn't be too much of an issue.
Optimize Memory is also supposed to be designed to reduce lag, however my park runs best with it turned off.
If your park has a large amount of decorations, then the large number of objects are certainly going to contribute to your lag. Especially with Decorator's Week coming to a close, many parks have been loaded up with decorations (like my own park). If you are like me and have a load of decorations, you could try selling or stowing a lot of them to decrease your lag.
Or, if all else does not solve the lagginess of the game, you could try hibernating some of your dragons. Similarly to decor, less dragons means less items for the game to load, which in turn decreases the lag. Unfortunately, this would mean a decrease in income, so I would recommend doing this as a last resort.
The only permanent solution to lag is to buy a device with a better processor/memory. I will admit that I need to get a better phone soon as well, as not only is mine causing a lot of lagging issues, but it also having a screen burning problem.

There’s a sub-board on the Help Desk called Complete Guide to Preventing Crashes. It has tips and a list of animated decos you can store. Anything that prevents crashes due to too much content, not enough RAM, or a slow processor will also prevent lags.

My park has just started to lag quite badly. I didn't buy a lot of decorations, but think it is because of all the twins in my social menu. As soon as this event is over, I'm going to cull quite a few of them.

You either have to create a Reddit account or Discord account, as posting in either of those places will count. I don't know much about how the Discord works because it's unnecessarily confusing to me, but if you were to create a Reddit account to enter I think what you'd have to do would be to create a post with a screenshot of your island and then link to that post on the contest thread.
You can see an example with u/ItzKINGcringe's entry - they created a post on the r/dragonvale subreddit with a screenshot of the island they were entering, and then linked to that post on the contest thread.
I think you also have to give DECA your park ID to enter so that they can verify it's your park, but I don't know if they do that in private messages or something as you're not meant to share your park ID publicly.

Attention le concours de DECA fini AVANT celui du forum le 5 juin !!! . il faut donc que tu enregistres ta participation au concours du forum et que j'ai le temps de faire les screenshots avant de modifier ton ile pour le concours de DECA. You do need to create a Reddit account and post your island on the DV subreddit. I asked Deca several years ago when they started their Community Design Contest if I could submit Forum members’ entries on their behalf (similar to how I submit Forum members’ AMA questions for Deca on the Reddit AMA post). Deca said no, because they would have to allow this in all DV communities, and the FB Game Rep did not support it because she felt it would be extra work.
You cannot have someone else submit your entry for you. It needs to be posted by the player. Sorry about that.

I think I'll end up doing that, but I still need a lot of dragons from Paradise, Camping and Halloween, and donation boards seem to be a staple of Paradise, so I'll keep them for a little bit longer.
Decorators Week definitely had something to do with it. As soon as it ended the lag became closer to bearable again.

(If you struggle to find it, close the Upload menu and put the screenshot in an obvious folder. E.g. create a folder called 'DragonVale Decoration Competition' in a place where you'll be able to find it, and put the screenshot in there.) -- There's an option to add more (up to 20) screenshots, but since you're only allowed to submit one island you don't need to do this. -- Title your post something clear, such as "Magical Summer Contest Entry". -- Change the post Flair to 'Park Showcase'. -- Click 'Post'. -- When the post has loaded: in the searchbar that has the link to the post, highlight the link and copy it. Took the day off from housework and explored the forum! WOW, what a creative group of people! Now to remember where everything is and what it is for. Getting around will be an anti-Alzheimer’s activity!
The DV HELP DESK category on the Home page has a board called Forum Help. It has threads on how to post, including images. This section will be expanded later when I have the time. In the meanwhile, the Help button on the navigation bar (under the Forum’s banner image) links to ProBoard’s help guide. It has information about forum features, like your profile, bookmarking threads, etc.
In general, to navigate the Forum, we advise members to use the Home page and click on a board under DV DISCUSSIONS - All Active Threads that has the topic they’re interested in reading. You can also click on New Posts on the navigation bar, but it will list all the threads on the Forum, even those that are locked and archived.
For convenience, all information about DV and the Forum is condensed on the DV HELP DESK, so you don’t have to remember where posts are hidden on the many threads. The Forum, like any other social platform, takes a little getting used to. Clicking around and testing things out is the easiest way to feel comfortable. It just takes practice like anything else. But I am certain you will be cruising around the Forum in no time by rote.
