DV version 4.28.2 is currently in the App Store. It has not reached the Play Store yet. So far, Deca hasn’t provided details about the update.
PSA: DV version 4.28.2 is available on Android
For those of you wondering what the update includes, it has 'a fix for cheaters'. Deca is implementing a new system to prevent some of the hacks.

With the new island, I want to try some of the decorations ideas front the island design contest. I opened the storage tower and remembered, with dread, the problem of repeated scrolling down to an item if you want to move more than one of the same item. Yes this was a while ago. I didn't want to redecorate because of this problem. Am I the only one who had this problem? Today, after the dread feeling, I removed an item. And the storage tower did not scroll back to the top. When did this change happen? Did I miss the notice? Or is this a benefit of a tablet with extra memory? It definitely make placing Whimsical Blooms easier.

Yes! I was going to say the same. I am using an iPad Air and I was so pleasantly surprised a couple of days ago that the list did not scroll back to the top! I too am taking advantage of this week to do some redecorating, and when the item remain in the same place, I was like: whoa..when did this happen? I was going to ask if anyone noticed, but you beat me to it 😃…So glad 😊🤩👏🙏

That's so cool if it has been fixed! I'm fairly sure I used the tower fairly recently and it was still happening, so maybe they fixed it with the most recent update?

What an incredible achievement! Please tell your mum we are all very proud and impressed by her expert dragon skills. Collecting 781 dragons in 2.5 years means she obtained almost one dragon per day — incredible!

Thank you so much for the good news! This was definitely patched in the latest DV update (version 4.28.2). There was no notice or word from Deca. They don’t provide details about their app updates. It looks like Deca has recently been going through the list of bugs and fixing them. First, the crashes at the Hibernation Cave when selling or renaming dragons and now the Storage Tower has finally been addressed! The Storage Tower has been a thorn in my side for many, many years. I avoided designing islands because removing multiple items from storage required blocking out hours from my day to scrolling through the Storage Tower. sophie requested this fix on Dear Deca, and it was added to the DV Updates & Feature Request document I submitted last August. The FB rep and I have asked for the Storage Tower fix many times over the years, and players on Deca’s AMA have also suggested it. I’m so pleased to see it’s finally done.
