Deca Games has developed a series of questions to gather feedback from players regarding their new event dragons. To capture an accurate account of players’ assessments, Rate a Dragon threads are created for each new dragon. These threads will be available approximately one to four weeks after a dragon’s release to allow players some time to breed the dragon and admire its fine qualities.
Since Deca asked players to rate their dragons and provided questions for the categories they would like to receive feedback on, please keep all comments related to the dragon. Opinions and suggestions about the selection process Deca utlilises to add player-designed dragons to the game, requests to include or exclude a player’s dragons from the game, and other off-topic comments will not be passed on to Deca. In addition, excessively rude, graphic, or offensive remarks will not be relayed and could result in a ban. Criticism is certainly welcomed, but try to keep it constructive and related to the dragon.
The Rate a Dragon threads will remain unlocked until the event concludes on August 9th. At the end of the event, your ratings and comments will be passed on to the Deca DragonVale Team.
Please take a minute to rate the Dunes of Magic dragons from 1-5 for each category. You can either post your feedback on this thread or message me. Thank you for participating, sharing your thoughts, and making this game even better with each dragon.

Please rate the Mantasu dragon on a scale of 1 to 5 (1 = worst, 5 = best). If a rating below 1 or above 5 is given, or if more than one number is provided, the rating will not count.

1. Animation 5 Sometimes less is more, and Mantasu's animation is testament to this. The animation really makes Mantasu seem like a living creature, rather than the animation being added on because it had to be to keep people interested.
2. Rift trait 5 It's simply stunning.
3. Size (if you don’t own Mantasu, please check a friend’s park) 5 Well sized.
4. Price (14,800 Spice) 2 Even for a second limited this is very high. My personal preference for a second limited would be no more than 13k (or 13.2k at the absolute most, if the unbreedables and first limited were cheap). It gets a point back since I don't mind dragons with elemental combos being expensive, since even newer players have a relatively high chance of accidentally breeding them.
5. How well does Mantasu fit the theme of the event 5 Many interesting connections, mostly the Manticore.
6. Design details 4.5 I really like this one; I can't find anything I particularly dislike about it besides two parts of the colour scheme (the anklets and the tail). I don't mind the anklets/rings on the legs and horns, though I'm not sure why they're green of all colours. Silver, bronze or dull red would have worked better. The tail could have also been a colour that wasn't quite as jarring against the other colours of the dragon. I guess the idea was to make it clear that this is parts of different creatures tacked together (Mantasu effectively being a Manticore) but I think there was probably a way of doing that without making the tail such a jarring colour.
7. How would you rate Mantasu’s breeding combo (earth + metal + air + lightning) 5 Thank you very much for the elemental combo. It could have worked without one of the elements (e.g. lightning, probably the least related element in the combo), especially in an event with two limited any-four-elements dragons, but ultimately I don't really mind as long as the combo is element-only.
8. How much do you like Mantasu (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) 5 The only thing that could have been better in my opinion was the EC price, but that isn't to do with the dragon itself and is more a problem with this event in general. This is a really great addition to the game!
Comments: I love how many different origins there were for Mantasu's name - a lot of thought must have gone into it. 😁
1. 4/5 Good enough. 2. 5/5 Fabulous trait placement 3. 5/5 Perfect size. 4. 3/5 Too expensive. 5. 5/5 So long as you read the description then it’s a great fit. 6. 3/5 Bit weird. Looks like they chucked everything at this one & hoped for the best. 7. 4/5 Usually prefer a locked combo but happy with this. 8. 3/5 Not a fan.
5. How well does Mantasu fit the theme of the event: 5
6. Design details: 5
7. How would you rate Mantasu’s breeding combo (earth + metal + air + lightning): 5
8. How much do you like Mantasu: 5
Comments / feedback for Deca: a suitable dragon/manticore that thrives well in the desert! Looks magnificent with its mane and wing. But, I don’t care for the green braces. Are they supposed to depict a courageous fighter (like wearing some kind of armor)? 🤔
Animation: 5/5 I really enjoy when it scratches itself.
Trait: 5/5 The placement does not interfere with some of the key aspects, which makes it near perfect.
Size: 5/5 It's about right.
Price: 2/5 This one's a bit pricey, especially considering the combo and the high breeding odds.
Theme: 2/5 I don't really see how a manticore pertains to the desert. Except for maybe the fact that it is part scorpion.
Design: 5/5 Love the manticore idea.
Combo: 5/5 After seeing the rather unfitting combos of Alayzem, Oasian and Saharus, as well as seeing the spoilers for the upcoming combos, an elemental combo is a brief sigh of relief.
Preference: 4/5 Great job!
Notes: In all honesty, we do not see a whole lot of Lightning or Metal element dragons released. I am glad this one has both - although I would enjoy seeing more dragons of those elements.
The Original One is in all things. The Original One is nowhere at all. From all creations, over all creations, does Arceus watch over all.

Comments / feedback for Deca : Baby is very cute. Some nice quirky animations with his scorpion tail. Great colouring on Mantasu and the rift placement is spot on. Mantasu’s description and scorpion tail make it fit the theme. Although the price isn’t much more than Saharus, the dragons are too expensive this event. An elemental only combo is always welcome and gives all players a chance to breed Mantasu. Nice design, but unsure about the boots/bracelets effect.
2. Rift trait 5/5. can't get much better than that.
3. Size (if you don’t own Mantasu, please check a friend’s park) 5/5. it's good.
4. Price (14,800 Spice) 2/5. not great for an earlier dragon.
5. How well does Mantasu fit the theme of the event 2/5. i think so far this is the weakest of the lot in terms of event relevancy.
6. Design details 3/5. amazing dragon! ...until you look at the feet. they're pretty... not great.
7. How would you rate Mantasu’s breeding combo (earth + metal + air + lightning) 5/5. always happy to see more elementals, and ESPECIALLY metal!
8. How much do you like Mantasu (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) 5/5. a great addition to the game, although i can't help but think it might have been better off as a permanent rare.

Comments: Nice flying undulation! The scratching is cute and the stretch is fantastic. The head bopping is... odd. I love all the traiting. I feel it could have used some where the green is in the arm bands though. Cost - glad it only went by 400 event currency, but this is getting steep. Thankfully, for me he was super easy to breed. The colour of the tail is so weird with the body, but works well once a trait is added. Nice wings. I like that the leg bands tie in with the others, though the green colour doesn't match. Happy for another dragon that doesn't have a locked combo. Locked combos are terrible Dragon Week time/money suckers. This dragon is ok. His animations really give him character. I don't think this will be a dragon I highlight though.
