No traited Greymatter in my park, but I 'successfully' bred a THIRD non-traited Greymatter. 🙄
I am in the same boat. Bred 2 in the vale, and a non traited in the rift after up to 10K E breeding everyday. Will have to wait for the next DW or RBC. 😐
Halloween is not complete without a portal to transport you to strange upside-down places and dark mysterious corners of the imagination. Take this Whitbee-approved Portal to the next dimension and thoroughly experience the Halloween season (but don’t forget your way back home!). Simply rate all the new Whitbee’s Candy Bash X: Into the Screamhouse dragons before the event concludes on 8 November, and you'll be transported to new realms and discoveries every night!
Since we have completed two full years of Rate a Dragon, there are now two previous Halloween awards to offer. Instead of The Portal, you can choose the Bone Dragon from last year’s Whitbee’s Candy Bash IX: XI Hsab Ydnac S’eebtihw or Redeye the Raven from Whitbee’s Candy Bash XIII: Into the Night. So many options! After you’re done rating the Into the Screamhouse dragons, message me, and the Bone Dragon or Redeye the Raven will be added to your profile instead. Please be aware that awards will be added to profiles up to 12 days after the event concludes, depending on how busy the next event becomes, bug reports, schedules, and other things in life. Thank you for your patience.

I originally thought that Greymatter had a ridiculously high price for a first limited at 15,700 EC, and hoped that it would not get too much worse than that. And oh boy, was I wrong.
One look at machina's price nearly made me sick... 17,200?! That is a jump of nearly 2,000 Candies, which is absurd considering how high the prices are already.
If this pattern continues, there is a good chance that the last limited will be greater than 20,000 EC - which would make it the most expensive dragon ever released during an event.

I agree. The prices are crazy! New and mid-level players will not be able to buy any of the new dragons. They need to breed them. At least the cloning percentage is generous.

No kidding! I was expecting something more around 16k ec for Limited #2 (which is still unbelievable). Jaw dropping increase for sure! And while the saving grace are those 10% co-op cloning odds, Machina’s got quite a few long fails. My main’s weathered one Triple Rainbow already (thanks for the help, Kairos!) and is now waiting on a Lodestone. Without gems and Kairos, that’s already half the week gone in co-op fails! I really do like Machina though and I can’t wait to get my talons on one. Normal breeding odds aren’t bad either, so crossing my fingers and toes! Hopefully my Koalas get it together and give my Rift the helping hand it appears to need. My main goal this week is to hurry up and get traited Machina so I can try for traited Construct! I’ll be very disappointed if I don’t get that chance.
The reduction in odds if you already have one has not seemed to affect my getting numerous basic dragons. However, twin and rifted dragons are on the endangered list!
The reduction in odds if you already owned one is only for the Four Horsemen - Barbarous, Charlatan, Scourge and Macabre.
I agree with you that twins and traited dragons are on the endangered list. They are few and far between in this event.
JoDragonVale, Ruben, and Worms keep the Vale running like a well-oiled Machina with instant twins!
Worms, knuckleduster, and jodragonvale, I cannot believe how fast you can twin — sheer magic! Thank you so very much! I have sent geared gems and transistor treats to your park in motoring appreciation.

With today's last breed in the rift, I bred a Machina. And it had a trait!!!!!! Very happy dance. 😊
The goal for Machina reads 'This dragon will show up at the best possible moment!' Yes, it did. I can now concentrate on breeding a traited Mushry for the rest of Dragons Week.

Thank you that clarification on the odds reduction.

Finally, a traited event dragon …Machina! The assembly lines are putting out non rifted and non twin versions though!
Untraited dragons are certainly not in short supply this event. MinyaZ has already commented about the plethora of non-rift touched dragons - and I, although have not mentioned anything until now, will admit that unrifted dragons have been quite commonplace.
Perhaps the Airship of Ghouls has something to do with this baffling phenomenon. The common practice of releasing unwanted dragons into the spacetime rift has been restricted due to the ariship's return. It is possible that the chaotic magic of Etherium is what causes Rift dragons to develop these unique traits, so would this lack of extra Etherium be the cause?

I might regret this… but I sold my scourge. I really want it in the rift…
If it was a regular Scourge, I think it’s worth it.
A twin Scourge is better kept so the traited-twin version can be claimed as the final prize. Of course, that won’t help if you need to use Scourge in a breeding combo.
