The new dragons from this event that weren’t breedable are good choices, but I also need rift versions of the dragons that were new in the 2023 Valentines event. Brutiful and Divi are cute and I think I’m gonna have to use 2 claims on them. Also an official whine on how a rift Dancey is eluding me - if I don’t breed him today I’ll use a claim on that dragon too. koala to everyone - I hope we’re all happy with our choices! Deca took an event that was shaping up to be a disaster and turned it into another great event with the runestone gifts!

The spring event will likely have RBCs so you could go for the valentines dragons then if you don't get them in the next event.

The claims continue! Victory is mine! As well as twin Alffa, Leathery, and Charlatan. I think I have six claims left, one of which is earmarked for Macabre if I breed it, and the other five I’ll check the compendium for missing twins with low social cloning odds
Okay, I selected by last claims based on a) low cloning odds (5%), b) having metal in the combo (as that often leads to treasure fails), and c) long breeding times.

That is an excellent haul. Except for the dragons released this event, I have claimed most of my list of dragons that I needed with a trait. A couple I didn't have twinned, so I claimed a twin version so that I can claim a traited version next time we see the RBCs. It was so good to cross them off the list. 😊

I've been seeing posts about people getting RBC dragons even though they used up all their claims. The theory seems to be that it's the dragons that were currently breeding in the caves when the event ended. Do the game reps know anything about this? It's very cool of DECA to add that feature if it is true!

There hasn’t been any reports from the Game Reps in the other DV communities. If this occurred for some players, I don’t think it’s a new addition to the Runic Breeding Caves. It’s more likely a remnant of resetting the claims button.

After a careful examination of the spots on the new Snopaw dragon it would appear that it should have been named Snopox. This is a major typo. Further examination and lab testing will be required to determine exactly which of the many illnesses that end in -pox this dragon is afflicted with, whether or not the dragon is contagious, and whether or not this -pox is curable. In the meantime dragon masking is advisable and dragon social distancing of 500 yards (457 meters) is advisable.
Snopox has no wings. If he would jump just a little bit further I could lift the masking and social distancing mandates in my park.

I rarely post and the most exciting thing happened to me during the last 20 minutes of the event. I had 1,900+ ice berries left and tried to buy the snow covered pine trees for 2000 ice berries. I was offered to watch a video to get 50 more ice berries!!! I then had 3 left and tried to buy a dragon. It didn’t let me. I tried to buy another expensive decoration it didn’t let me. Then I tried for 100 decoration and they offered another video and gave me 97 ice berries. Amazing 💜💜💜Love Deca❣️

Anyone else think Gardenia's trying to coax a hiding dragon out of the rose bush? The 'vines' sticking out do look kind of like antennae and if you look closely it does look like there's an eye in the bush... That's a really cool detail if so!

Alayzem looks amazing! Nubis got gypped. At least they could have done the tail tips? Or the inner parts of the wings same as Snowdrop. Or that… thing behind him. Blah. Both Nubis and Lightmare got poor traiting. Boo. Thanks for sharing! I claimed them all too (except Pikeleaf because I forgot to breed one), but haven’t fed anybody but Nubis up yet. It’s interesting seeing what traits others decide on.

I used this ad feature on some of my alts too. They were coming in 30ish iceberries short of a last Lace pedestal and the game offered me ads. I didn’t try for more than one ad/park though. I hope this becomes a regular feature. It was a pleasant surprise.
