Those odds are rough. I'm trying for it in Co-Op, Epic and Rift. Fingers crossed I get at least one!! 🤞 I currently have enough EC for everything else I want, but if I don't manage to breed Armor, I'll need to earn or save another 12k, so I'll need 10 styles from mini games. Not impossible, but costly, and I might not have quite enough gems given there's a decent chance I'll get duplicates now (since I already got about 20 from a previous "extra mini game plays session").
The ARMOR dragons are an order dedicated to ensuring the peace of the floating islands following the early warring period with the Battle of Polarus. Their armour, forged from the mythical and dense iron only found in the Gerias Mines, weighs well over a hundred pounds. It is too heavy for a dragon or wizard to don and defend the land. The Armor dragons evolved into the armour as the lightest of beings. They can wear the iron suits as easily as the wind can surround objects in its path. This remarkable invisible strength has given the Armor dragon an aura of heraldry and myth.
In the fourth century, the great wizard Elminster created The Round Table, at which the Armor dragons convene. Its shape embodies the roundness of the island’s surface and is a symbol of equality with no heads at the table, signifying that everybody seated is of equal status. The 36 Armor dragons that gather at the table represent the dragons and wizards of the Vale: 10 primary elements, 21 epic elements, and the five wizards from each House. Together, they ensure the glory of the realm and that the newly found fellowship of the dragons and wizards is protected; they shall no longer be at war with each other. From the rounded table, the wizards and dragons endeavoured a new alliance, a kinship — a friendship.

Armor is AMAZING! YEAH!!
He’s going to be hard to breed tho 🫤
Adlerist, I love how your medieval story for the limited dragons isn’t just about defeating Polarus, but also how the dragons and wizards became friends. It makes sense they would fight each other in the beginning, but they found common ground with Polarus. Polarus brought them together. In that way, he’s not so bad after all. 😊
I love the new Armor dragon but I don’t want my POLARUS to be seen as a Bad Guy. Yes, she might be bi-polar, totally together some times and coming apart at the seams other times, but she always pulls herself back together. She can be a little sparky, that’s true, but she has a magnetic personality that draws people and other dragons to her.

If it wasn’t for Polarus, the Vale would not be the Vale today, and there would be no Shimmering Isles. The dragons and wizards would’ve fought for centuries and decimated their islands and each other by now. We owe a lot to Polarus.

I'm here to give the koalas their due. They've been testing me during this event with all of the untraited dragons I've been breeding in the Rift. But today, I got a traited Armor dragon in the Rift on my third try! Thank goodness, order has been restored to my Rift and my park. All hail to the koalas! With much gratitude, I send them on to the next park to shower parks with their grace. Will your park be next?

This story was lovely! You really outdid yourself during this medieval event!!!

Sidenote: I'm a little sad about Armor. He kind of just looks like a pre-evolved Plate. I was hoping for some cool clearing again this event, but alas!
I'm already prepping for the next event. I'm hoping it will be the deep ocean event with the player-inspired dragons!!! I am going to buy a treasure habitat to get ready, and am making sure to look at all the breeding pairs needed next event- some of those dragons are in the event market right now (Pharaoh, Midday, Lageto, Prism, Midnight, Dusk, Nightbloom, Dawn, and Sunscorch) so if you don't have them yet, try to breed or buy them now so you will have a few less dragons to worry about next event!
Anyone got any ideas of requests for the upcoming events? Maybe an increased dragon capacity to the Paradise habitats, or something? I hope there's a new island theme available!! Maybe a cool deep ocean one or something. I'm so stoked! I want to know which player-designed dragons were used, and I'm thinking it must be for this next event, though I'm not sure. Anyone know?

I had them visit me yesterday too because I bred an Armor in the rift (traited and everything) on the first day! Such a relief to not be trying to breed him the remaining days of the event.
MinyaZ , thank you for the twin Honeybrew! 🍯🍺🍻! 🙏🙏
Can someone tell me how twins work?? I never understood their significance other than: you both got the same dragon from this breed!
Like can you gift twins to other people? Do they make more money? Is it just that their egg pedestals glow?
I feel like such a noob even though I just got to 180! (Also trying to clone an Armor Dragon in the co-op; failing miserably)
The twins are kind of up to you and how you play. At first I didn't give a fudge about twins, but now I care about them and save them in my hibernation cave when I get them because my favorite in-game mechanic, the runic breeding caves, allow you to breed two of the same dragon together and automatically claim a rift traited version of the dragon, but only if you already have a regular and twin dragon. I now keep all twins!
You cannot gift each other twins exactly, but when you breed in the social co-op breeding cave, you have a chance of creating a twin, which gives you and the person whose dragon you bred with both a twin version of that dragon. There is something called 'Twin Weekend' where every breed you do in the co-op cave results in twins, and in that way you can kind of gift your friend twins, as long as you know what dragon they're after.
I do wish there was a way to gift 1 dragon a year or something in-game to friends. That'd be cool!

Another awesome story and a very fitting end to our Medieval event. I was wondering what Armor's part would be after Nimue defeated Polarus. Armor is the protector of the peace and we are grateful to Armor for maintaining peace in the Vale.
And who doesn't love a Happily Ever After story? 📖

Further to what Hetchy has already mentioned.
Twins look slightly different with orbs and have a different border and background on their profile, but you probably already know that. They don't earn any more than the regular dragon.
One of the reasons for players to collect twins is that if you own twins of all possible dragons your Dragonarium will breathe blue fire.

Thank you everybody for the kind words! It is greatly appreciated and means everything! ❤️ I had a lot of fun with the medieval storyline in this event.
Armor has a far different design and concept than Plate, so I don’t mind having both of them.
The next event (paradise) should include some of the player-designed dragons from the Depths of the Ocean Dragons contest, the last Community Design Contest held in February/March.

Yes please! All I have been getting are over 24 hours, yet none hit the 27 hour timer. At least two caves in each of my three parks have timers ranging from 1:03:00 to 2:06:00! 😭😢
I am putting out the chocolates, green apples, eucalyptus muffins, as well as some fine Italian 🍷🍷.. Please, 🐨🐨🐨

Aside from what hetchy and MinyaZ said. I don’t actually collect twins for blue fire, but will keep them so I can get the traited version via the runic breeding caves, or claim the traited version of a certain dragon at the end of an event. Also, if you don’t own a twin of a certain dragon, you will receive the twin when it comes to the daily log in mystery egg reward once you own all the dragons. To me, it is kind of annoying when I get them, so I keep the twin to avoid receiving the twin version via the daily log in egg reward. Another advantage of keeping extra twins in your gift list is for the donation boards.
I figured that eventually I may get to blue fire status without trying. 😂
MinyaZ! Thank you for having your traited Armor in the co-op! He is a fine friend, indeed.
(BTW, if you didn’t receive the twin, the timestamp for the image is 14:17 UTC.)

Thank you so much adlerist for the twin Armor! What a lovely surprise. The in-game pop-up was a Fluorescent; I wouldn't have found the twin Armor for days. ❤️️
Today is NOT a Double Day. Deca has already been notified, and we’ve asked for a replacement Double Day in the upcoming week. When we have that information, we’ll let you know. Thank you!

Thank you! I was just coming to ask about this. Since it's weekend now, should we assume it won't get fixed and instead they'll add another double later in the week?

There’s no way it’ll be fixed today, and players have likely already watched ads, collected EC, and bred dragons. It’s best if Deca adds another Double Day next week. 🙂
