Well, that's unfortunate. So in order to maintain a Fully Golden Dragonarium™️, we have to have both versions of the school. Completionists such as myself would never be able to bear the ignominy of a non-golden dragonarium, so it leaves us little choice. I can afford the 2000 Magic, but it's rather wasteful for something that I have no intention of ever displaying. Has anyone asked DECA if they plan to reconsider this?

However, I have asked Deca to change its upgrade price to EC during next year’s camping event and for future camping events. That should help players who cannot afford the gem price. Sorry, it can't be changed to one asset.

PRO TIPS
• To clone Polarus at the co-op, use Magnetic with a friend’s Polarus and receive both breeding and cloning percentages for a total of 13.15%!
• In the Rift, using Burrow to fulfil the earth and fire elements in the breeding combo can help maximise the EC earned from breeding fails (Burrow pays out double the amount of EC).
• In the Vale, use Obsidian for the earth and fire elements to help minimise long breeding fails.
What a surprise having Polarus released today. Just when I thought Summerthings Magical II was winding down and coming to close, Polarus pops in.

The plant generator is enormous. I bought one and it towers over everything else. I like that it is static and only drops seeds so it isn't competing with other generators for air space, but it doesn't need to be so big.

Whenever the announcements are out of order, I inform Deca. Yesterday was particularly egregious because players didn’t know there was a surprise limited, so many found out when they opened the game a second time. Of course, by then, they’d already begun other breeds and completed all their Rift breeds. It appears there’s a bug preventing the announcements from appearing in order. So, until it’s resolved, there may be confusion. It’s not the best situation for players, but Deca is aware of the problem and they're working on it.

Many will be needed in the Vale to store data on hard drives, sort metallic ores from crushed rock at the Dramoria Mines, point to the North on a compass, and hold pictures to the refrigerator. Do I need to make sure to summon Treebark 3 days before the event ends so that it arrives before it’s all over or will it finish summoning regardless of the event ending so long as it’s initiated prior to the end of the event? A I have cloned one already so summoning is about trying for a pedestal egg at some point.

• Players only have four days to complete the new Eggy Hatchy 10-level tower, Spiral of Enchantments. The event concludes on 7 October and will take Eggy Hatchy with it. So get your Eggy on!
• If you’re planning on purchasing Treebark, please do so now. It takes 72 hours to summon him, and the summoning process must be completed before the event ends. You can use gems and Kairos to speed up the ordeal. How to Obtain the Treebark Dragon instructions.
• Players must claim the egg from the final event daily reward at the Arcane Crystal before the event island departs on 7 October. There are four days left (to forget), so it's best to do it now. If you’re not sure which dragon to select because they’re all so cute, check this post for recommendations. It lists the dragons needed in breeding combos, and there’s a chart with the dragons’ breeding/cloning percentages if you’d like to choose a difficult-to-breed dragon.
EDIT: If you are claiming a traited-twin dragon, you can select the trait you want. Instructions are on this post from the Help Desk.

I haven't been around much during this event, but I just rated all the dragons, so I hope I didn't annoy anyone with bumping all the rate-a-dragon threads all at once!
I have all the dragons except Vipera. I even managed to breed all the Limiteds this time around. And all the anniversary dragons. I feel a little weird having only one dragon left that I need....
I have no idea who I'm going to claim, but I'll probably try to get a traited version of someone.

I got a 60 hour fail trying for a twin Polarus last night that’s an expensive speed up to be able to try again before the event closes as sadly I had just used Kairos to speed up an earlier 24+ hour fail.
The real problem with the plant generator is that it’s HUGE. Players can’t buy a lot to make a decent DC boost because they won’t fit with the habitats on the island. I really hope the other future generators aren’t like this. It’s disappointing. Also, the design of the plant generator is really different from the others. I wish they would’ve kept the same “generator” look. Then it would’ve been the right size. It’s nice when there’s consistency, and DECA hasn’t done that with designs for the dragons, decorations, and now the generators. If they want the artists to do whatever they want, they should’ve had the same artist do all the generators, so it’s consistent.
I really want to buy a few more of these but they are too big and they clash with a lot of the other designs. Do you think we can request for this to be made smaller? TQTQ

I asked Deca about the Plant Generator’s enormous footprint when it was released because players cannot place more than one or two. Therefore, they are not going to buy many, and its usefulness is greatly diminished. Unfortunately, Deca cannot change the size due to other issues. They did say they might be able to raise the boost percentage; however, there’s no confirmation on this and no guarantee it’ll happen.
