PSA: Treebark’s size has been increased at every level
Last week, Deca enlarged Treebark’s size but only at level 20. Today, he has grown at each level and is no longer the diminutive dragon of yesterday.

But I only had one level left this morning on the week-long, so I used all five and still failed. I think that a problem is that the game has been calibrated to include the 5 redos, but we cannot use them.
Also, repeatedly, I had not enough Light trait eggs to make 4 level 5 eggs—even starting with level 2 eggs. This was Level 8 on the week-long. I had unlocked it about 5 days ago, but could never achieve it. I would end up with 4-5 eggs without a Light trait, but needed 1 more Light trait dragon. I tried to use them sparingly, but there just weren’t enough. The game keep turning them to other elements on the final breed, so I needed another Light.
I was just warning players that in the past when the reps have suggested improvements for the Eggy boards, the changes are not implemented during the event.
Yesterday, I made the request for the removal of the Eggy board. I heard back from Deca today. Unfortunately, they said they could not remove boards during the event because it could cause bugs.
Every time Eggy is in the game, I’ve suggested adjustments for some of the difficult boards, like the one CesspitX mentioned, by lowering the number of eggs in the goal, or the number of merges, or the points amount. But some of the difficult ones have remained. I do agree that they can be extremely frustrating. Not attempting the same board several times in a row is the best strategy.
I’ve asked Deca to remove the board with the 4 x level 3 eggs goal and 35k points goal before Eggy is implemented again. Hopefully, they will do this.
Interesting! I had no trouble with it the last time— once I learned how to do it, that is—I didn’t win every time, but it was predictable. This time, it seems to refuse to let me have the right element on the very last try of a level 4 or 5 dragon until I do that board a few times. It feels manipulative and takes way too much time. I do not mind choosing whether to watch an ad or not for a game advantage. I was going to suggest that DECA just add 5 ads for tickets instead of a broken redo button. We would have to start over, but they would get ad revenue and we would get another chance right away. However, I see there is an update, so I will try that.
Also, you have said not to retry a board over and over which seems correct. I just do not understand the mentality behind coding it that way. It leads to frustration with the game when what I think they want is some revenue. My friend, who was so excited about getting Eggy Hatchy back, has quit playing it altogether. We will see if the update helps. Thank you for your representation of us to DECA for a this game we continue to play. 😄

The koalas were again very kind to stop by my park on the first day of the new dragon release. I go both a traited and regular Quamera using Frostfluff (20) and Voltaic (20) in the Rift. I showed the koalas my immense gratitude and sent them on their way! Is your park next?

Quamera covers all the elements for a study spell to assist wizards and witches. Cold to freeze time for endless learning, dark to hide any distractions, earth to stay grounded and focused, and lightning to strike them awake if they dare fall asleep.
Quamera is in the co-op befriending the Quadruple Leap Year dragon to bring eight times the madness. Koalamera to all!
Breeding percentages: breeding hint 4%; co-op clone 1%
Cloning dragons:
Elders • Cold, Dark, Earth, Lightning
Hybrids • Wisp, Frostbite, Storm
Many cheers to MinyaZ for the cloning dragons!
Breeding tips: There are lots of possible combinations to cover the four elements. In the Rift, Void + Crystal can help increase the EC earned from breeding fails. In the Vale, Frostbite + Quake for short breeding outcomes. Whatever combo you use, may the koalas be with you!
Pro Tip: Using any dragon (that doesn’t add extra elements) to clone Quamera will provide both breeding and cloning percentages for a total of 5%!
Amazing tips! I bred Quamera in the Rift with Void + Crystal, and cloned one in the co-op with Earth Elder + Quamera! That 5% is nice!! I totally forgot breeding and cloning percentages were possible through cloning.
Summer vacation has ended, and the wizards and witches have returned to school. The curriculum is packed with Sorcery Studies, Chemistry Conjuring, Broom Mechanics, Vale History, Psychic Physics, Potion Economics, Alchemy Algebra, Witchcraft Crafts, and of course, Dragon Training. Remember your lessons and how you taught the Gryphus dragon to fly with the Dragon’s Flight award permanently affixed to your profile. Study groups and flashcards are old school. Secret groups and flashy magic are the new way at Mrs Murphy's School. Simply rate all the dragons before the event concludes on 9 October, and the Dragon’s Flight award will accompany your diploma.
Since we have completed three years of Rate a Dragon there are now three previous summer awards to offer. Instead of the Dragon’s Flight, you can choose the Stargazer from last year’s Camping Under the Stars II, the Astral Spire from Camping Under the Stars, or Bluetooth the Bluebird from Into the Wild. So many options! After you’re done rating the Summerthings Magical II dragons, message me, and the Stargazer, Astral Spire, or Bluebird will be added to your profile instead.
School is in session — here are the first two Rate a Dragon threads
and Ogre bo-bogre, banana-fanna fo-fogre, fee-fi-mo-mogre, Ogre!

You guys!! Was just doing my evening rounds and I just got Scorpionian in coop and then Aquarian in the epic island one after the other! There may have been whooping! That Aquarian has been occupying my island since the event started. So yay more caves to try for quamera now
I have breezed through Eggy pretty easily this event (been lucky!) until now. I’ve tried a lightning level 20 times with no success. Like MinyaZ wrote earlier, the element just won’t stick. There’s definitely a good portion of luck needed in Eggy. But I like this mini game! Keep on Egging!
Hi everyone! New member here 🥰 Love the energy in this forum. Anyone willing to lend me a Quamera in co-op? char#8555
Welcome aboard, Charmythic!
I’ve moved your post to the Cooperative Request thread, so more players can assist you. I also replied to you on the thread and added you, my Friend ID is adlerist#5274. Cheers!

Here are some tips I picked up over the Eggy years...
• Start with the eggs you don't need. When you have to merge 3-5 eggs, and let’s say the required element is plant, only use eggs that don’t have the plant element for the first several merges, and always end on an egg with the plant element that is near other eggs with the plant element. So, after the final merge, if you don’t pick up or retain the plant element, there are more plant eggs nearby to combine. This will also clear some of the non-plant eggs on the board that aren't helpful.
• Primary eggs. There is a primary egg for the required element on the board. I almost always use the primary egg for the final merge (sometimes I won’t if the egg is a twin, and I might be able to get a twin golden hybrid out of it, but sometimes not, depending on the board and how many eggs have the requested element). Using the primary egg for the last merge has a higher chance of obtaining the required element than combining two eggs with four different elements. And if I already have the correct element, the primary egg rarely loses it. So ideally, I try to have the required element before merging with the primary. But be careful when merging with an opposite-element egg. If a plant element egg is needed, and on the last merge, a Thorn egg is combined with a Plant egg, there's a good chance it'll end up a Metal egg. The only drawback to ending with the primary egg is it tends to result in a regular hybrid, not so much a golden hybrid. So the points are lower. But it's still worth it to clear an egg goal.
• Clearing eggs with the same element. If there are a lot of plant eggs on the board, I’ll try to use plant eggs for the final two merges (or more). It’s ideal to eliminate some of the plant eggs from a heavy plant board; otherwise, there won’t be enough diversity in the eggs to reach the points goal.
• Duplicate eggs. Merging two of the same egg increases the resulting egg level by 1, so duplicate eggs are critical when you need level 3-5 levels. These are the first eggs I merge. If they are not next to each other, I clear a path so they can be combined.
• Match and merge. Try to merge eggs that have one matching element, even if it's not the required element. For example, if plant is the requirement, I’ll merge a plant/cold egg with an air/cold egg, matching the cold element. The plant element has a better chance of sticking because the resulting egg can only have a combination of plant/cold, plant/air, and air/cold. It’s better odds of resulting in a plant hybrid egg than if four different elements are in the mix.
There are more tips in the Eggy Hatchy Guide. And, of course, lots of luck is needed, so sending all the eggy koalas to everybody!
I agree, the lightning board, stage/level 6 was the most difficult from the Spiral of Sorcery tower. I finally cleared it with a lucky last merge that ended up in a twin Bicentennial. My alt had to get lucky with a Dream egg. Without an epic, or a twin limited, or several twin golden hybrids, the points goal is unreachable.

VampireSherri, Gargoyle, and LeilaSkyyy are at the top of the class!
Thank you so very much, Gargoyle, LeilaSkyyy, and vampiresherri! A four-headed twin means we are eight times wiser! I have sent classy gems and classroom treats in great thanks and appreciation. Many cheers!
If anyone sent me a twin of a new event dragon and has not received gems and treats, please let me know. Thank you kindly!

Thanks these are great tips! Eggy hatchy wasn’t a thing when I stopped playing years ago so it’s new to me since I picked it back up but it’s fun! I had figured out some of this but not all. I kinda like that some of them are hard enough that you need to try a bunch of times and get lucky- matches the general experience of the game!
Has anyone bred a Hex Dragon? I’ve tried numerous times without any luck. I think I’m going to have to buy it.
Unfortunately, the Hex dragon isn’t breedable, it can only be cloned. And even more unfortunate, its co-op cloning percentage is a mere 1%, so it’ll take some luck. I purchased Hex early in the event, didn’t even attempt the 1%.
If anyone needs the details of the new dragons, including the breeding and clone percentages, it’s on the first page of the event thread under Meet the Dragons.
