As many of you already know my GCID is Snuffeldyret. I should probably have picked something more understandable..too late for that now..
Anyway.. Snuffeldyret is what we used to call our Bernese mountaindogs. The last one we had; Pluto is the GC avatar. A snuffeldyr is a large dog with a long fur. Big nosed, cute as suger, dumd as a bread and the best friend you'd ever get. Its not a word in the Norwegian dictionary, I made it up. So if you ever come across another forum with a user called snuffeldyret, or a blog, it's me!
Did any of you understand anything of this? If not sorry about my school english...probably should have paid more attention at school.. You probably are used to poorly written and spoken english from norwegians...if not google Petter Solberg and Torbjørn Jagland... It's not only only, but but..

I originally downloaded the game for my daughter, whose name is Elise. I call her Lisey Belle sometimes, and so that was the ID I chose for Game Center.
A long time ago in a galaxy far away (in a Foundation sense - Does anyone else remember Compuserve?) I decided to join a forum. It asked for a user name. I tried a few variants on my name. "Nope you can't have that". In desperation, I tried the name of my street. Nope. Then I added a salutation and Mr Darcy was born. In these more widely connected times Mr Darcy is usually taken, probably because of all those pesky Pride&Prejudice fans out there. So I tried adding my IRL name, and GregDarcy was discovered to be the full name of the previously very formal MrDarcy. MrDarcy is still my nom de plume of choice, but GD has become my number one fallback. So far it remains a reliable choice.
PS I am a fan too, but it was NOT the reason for the moniker as many people assume.
Main GCID: GregDarcy Secondary: GregDarcyToo All gems friends spoken for. Happy to accept friends for party hats. I blame Apple's auto incorrect for all my typos. I actively discourage challenges. All challengers are unfriended.

My GCID is Davellania, just because I couldn't use Davellan. If you add me, you're gonna know why. My real name is David Avellan, so Davellan is just those names combined in a semi-creative fashion.

I don't have a GCID because I play on the Andriod platform. My moniker on the forum came from the Butterfly dragon, my favourite at the time, because it was a high earner and the first dragon that I bred back to itself to help fill a habitat for more DC. And what do butterflies do best? Flutter by...
Kindle park1: nearly all dragons are frolicking in their habitats! (A Thorny little problem to resolve...)
Smartphone park2: Geode, a dragon with rocks in! Still to breed 4 dragons...

My GCID is Shnikolai. My name is Nick, most of my family calls me Nikolai because it sounds cool. After absolutely everyone started calling me Nikolai, my sister's boyfriend that I called Shmichael (his name was Michael) decided to start calling me Shnikolai. The name stuck and I decided, "Why not just use that for my GCID?" He's now in the U.S. Army and just got back from Afghanistan a few months ago.
Something that should've been (both euphemistically and normally) "papel higiénico" (toilet paper). Literally, "paper for pooping".
Given the long time-lag, I wasn't going to post but I had to explain the Chilean guffaw.
GCID: fridaytheparrot ("Freitag" is German for Friday, the lowercase is a mis-type I'm ignoring). "Friday" is for the Robinson-Crusoe helper. "Parrot" is the critique an interpreting teacher stuck me with the day "George Bush" came out "Jorge Arbusto" in an exercise.
Friend code: 15021903
PS: I eventually became a translator and "Friday" is the name of the parrot I use in my professional logo

I always drink my Crown Royal with coke until i met this bartender and told me " why don't you try it with 7up with lime" and she was right it taste so much better, since then it's been crownseven with lime.

So my GCID is ElektronX, which is also my universal name over the internet through other various games as well.
Growing up...well then again, I never really did grow...I lived (and continue to today) in the 2nd height percentile in the world. Electron, the smallest atomic particle, fit perfectly for that. I was also quite fascinated by electricity through electrical engineering at this time too. It then became ElektronX as a play on words for the things that everyone loves "electronics". The "k" was thrown in there for diversity as well as the initial for my middle name.

Thanks for "enlightening" us, yours' has always intrigued me.

FWIW.
That has to be one of the most complicated reason behind someones gcid/username that I've seen. Very interesting.
My GCID is evattr which is simply my last name, first initial. Not very creative but I wasn't really realizing when I set it up that I'd be stuck with it. I just wanted to get to the games.
My username of Cobus is taken from an actual person. He's a mercenary from South Africa - very badass dude. I liked the originality of the name. I've always liked original names, probably because mine is just Rob which is extremely common in the US. Fun fact, the main character in the movie "Blood Diamond" is actually based on this Cobus guy I based my username off of.

Sorry to complicate things, but I was once told I was too "trackable". And I served as a moderator on another forum, so I've been a bit wary of the stalkers I sometimes had to monitor People get kind of funny over the internet.
